This was really bad for several reasons: First of all I have oily skin and this just accentuated that. It also made my pores look larger. It did cover all redness, etc so that's good I suppose, but not worth it for the greasy look.
The pump on this is awful. Either a lot of product or not enough will come out, you never know. You can't just pump it gently (or at least I can't) you have to give it a good squeeze and then too much usually ends up on your hand. It's not necessarily a big mess, it's just way more than your face needs.
It also dries to a much darker color than it appears at first. I am extremely pale so I got this in the lightest shade and I looked orange within a few hours. Orange and sparkly (the shimmer in this is really overwhelming).
And finally, it smells absolutely terrible. I don't know who would benefit from a product like this - maybe someone who is darker than me and has very dry skin and doesn't mind the gross scent?

When I bought the new Revlon Photoready Mousse Make-up, I was already a user of the old Photoready Makeup (which I loved), so I thought I would try the Mousse makeup and see what it was like. Not a good choice! I absolutely hated it. Here are some reasons why...

1st - the pump is awful, you can never get out the exact amount of make-up that you would like. Big waste.
2nd - It made my face look greasy, and every time I touched my face, the make-up would rub off.
3rd - I looked sparkly. Having a sparkley face is not a good look, in my opinion, serveral people even noticed it and commented.
4th - It smelled horrible. I've never owned any make-up that smelled worse than this did
5th - When used near my eyes, it made my eyes burn, and water.
6th - I didn't find that it had good coverage to begin with, and as the day went on, the look of the make-up got worse, and worse...
...and last, and definitely the worst part, it made my skin breakout in acne. It was horrible. My face is now healing from the mess this Mousse Make-up caused. I switched back to the older Photoready foundation, and I couldn't be happier that I did. I would not recommend the PhotoReady Mousse Make-up to anyone, instead, I would recommend the older one (in the glass bottle), it's a much better product!

Instant break outs. I don't remember if any other product gave be zits right away like this has. Lightest shade was actually very good, light enough for my fair skin and neutral, which is a rarity to come by, so many are too pink or too yellow, but that's the only good thing about it. When I looked at myself in a mirror from afar it looked ok, when I came closer it was horrible. It pooled into my pores, accentuated them (and my pores are not even big and normally barely visible), and made my skin look bumpy and uneven toned in general, which is funny since foundation supposed to do the opposite. Packaging is crap. Too much came out with just one pump and 'Highly flammable' warning made me a little nervous to keep this in my house lol. To be fair, I guess for this type of product there must have been no other way to package it.

This didn't do anything for me. Perhaps it's not good for dry skin but the foundation settled on me in a really weird way. It also smells really weird so I had to just wash it off right away! I'm sensitive to smell so I couldn't take it. It might be one of those scents that triggers some people but others won't notice it. It's also expensive for drugstore and I feel like if I actually liked this, I will go through the bottle pretty fast...

I love the regular Revlon Photoready foundation in the glass bottle. When I first saw this new range launched in US, I know that I must try it, thinking that it could be as good as the current one that I love.
It was not available then in Singapore, I practically "beg" my sis to bring back for me when she was in states
I got the mousse in Nude and the primer.
Within 30 minutes of application with a foundation brush, face looked flawless, but somehow thru the day, it just oxidise on my face and it looks horrible and I looked so washed out.
I had tried it with some many different primers, hoping that I can match and mix to find one that "ease" off the issue but it just does not works.
Perhaps someone could share with me their tips on making this foundation works for them.

Oily skin beware! Really wish I'd have checked out the reviews before purchasing this product. :(

My normal HG foundation is Revlon ColorStay liquid for combo/oily skin. I am a huge greaseball and have acne prone skin so I need full coverage, and the ColorStay definitely delivers, but my routine is pretty intense and time consuming. I was going out of town this past weekend and wanted something that took less time to apply but still gave nice coverage, so unfortunately I decided to try Revlon's PhotoReady Airbrush mousse. Big mistake.

First of all, the shade selection is laughable compared to the ColorStay liquid. I use #150 Buff in ColorStay, and decided to get 020 Shell in the PhotoReady. It was a little bit lighter than what I usually wear, the next shade up probably would have been closer to the #150, but it still matched my skin pretty nicely. The positives pretty much end right there.

On my first attempt with this foundation, I primed my skin with Smashbox Photo Finish and applied the foundation with my fingers (I really didn't want to have to bring a bunch of brushes, etc. with me on my trip). I didn't really have a problem getting the amount of foundation that I wanted out of the package, but the foundation did not blend nicely on my skin at all. I have large pores and blemishes and a couple dry patches, and all this foundation did was enhance the nastiness. I had to apply quite a lot of it to get a semi-presentable, even palette as far as coverage goes, but I looked like I had rubbed my face with bacon grease. No amount of powder would take away the shine completely and I looked and felt ridiculous. This foundation is definitely one of those "dewy" ones and will probably be terrible for you if you are oily/combination.

The second attempt I made was a bit better: I primed with my usual milk of magnesia first, and applied the foundation with a stippling brush. This definitely helped the application go faster, used less product, and made for a nicer final result, but there was still a good amount of shine and the foundation just kind of sat there like a mask on my face. I patted very gently under my eye when I had an itch, and the foundation came right off. All I could do was powder and re-powder, because I was too afraid that blotting would completely demolish it.

For some reason I decided to go ahead and take the foundation with me anyway. The milk of mag/foundation/lots and lots and LOTS of powder thing worked all right, it was just a couple of days after all, but there's no way I would trust it on an important day or if you can't slip away to powder. I suppose I'll keep it for a rainy day, but I definitely won't be using it again any time soon.

Not the worst...far from the best. Like others have said it can be quite messy. I've tried to get just a bit out and an amount enough to cover my entire face came flowing out. Kinda pricey for drug store makeup...was close to $15 at Walgreens. I wouldn't say I hate it quite as bad as other members but I won't be repurchasing it. It's only "eh" for me.

I bought this today, got home, opened it up, and used it on a clean face. Absolutely disgusting. First off, the pump gives you no control, no matter how gently you press. Second, it is very yellow toned, I myself am more pink based. Third, it looked like mud on my face, very messy looking. I will be returning this tomorrow, I pray they will take it back, as it cost me a whopping $18.00 canadian. I couldn't be more disappointed.

I thought that overall this was a really good product. I was abit skeptical to use it when I saw the price. It was 20.00$ (Canadian) and I didnt know if I would even like it that much. Still, i bought it and used it when i got home. I loved the product, i thought it lasted a long time, there was perfect colour matches for me and the mousse was light. Maybe everyone thinks this should make your skin look flawless but I dont think thats what the product is meant to do. I think that it is a base, i put a press power on top and it makes my skin glow. I would defently buy this product again : )

Like everyone else, I got suckered in to buying this product through glossy ads in a magazine.

I found the pump action a little temperamental, but other than that I quite liked the packaging.

However, I noticed that I was... Sparkling... And wondered what it was.. Turned out to be this foundation, something which I think should have been specified. Revlon, I do not like to sparkle all over my face! So that ticked me off.

But the biggest downside for me is the fact that this foundation caused my skin to break out in little whitehead type spots. Not happy!
