I like a foundation with more of a higher coverage and this is very low coverage. The colors are good though. They seem to have some with an olive tint and I like how it looks. It just doesn't cover enough.
I want to say I like this, I really do.
But I can't.
I don't hate it, but I don't love it either. The finish is interesting. It wasn't matte, but it wasn't dewy. I couldn't even say it was satin. It's just kind of there, and I can tell it's there.
It's pretty lightweight overall, which is nice for me because I hate the cakey feel of some foundations. It didn't catch around my nose, or chin and that's something I have a hard time with when I turn to liquid foundations.
Originally, to try this out, I moisturized, put on a lightweight primer, a green concealer, and then started to stipple the foundation on with a sponge. The sponge didn't work so hot, it looked kind of weird to me. Or maybe I'm just in a hurry and didn't want to build on to it, I don't know. Probably that one, because I'm a 5 minute makeup kind of lass. I resorted to using my fingers and it blended smoothly, doesn't leave a ring around the jawline.
I'm pretty pale, with interesting undertones, but I didn't have a problem finding a shade match. I went with 115 Ivory for my scarily ghostly summer tanned skin (this is dark for me).
My problem is I don't like the way translucent powder sits on it. Is that weird? I'm going to give it a couple of different tries in various ways, but today with a light brushing of translucent powder it kind of went rogue there. I'll try tomorrow without a powder, and again later with a powder to see how it stands up to the Texas heat, but I don't see myself coming to this as a primary foundation.
For the price though, if you have pretty decent skin, or you're young and starting out, I'd say it's worth the 5 bucks. I mean, you're not breaking the bank to try it, and the worst that happens is you use it as a mixing medium to lighten or darken another cheaper brand. So it goes.
I'm all waiting to see if this breaks me out something fierce, since I do have pretty sensitive skin. We'll see, sometimes it takes a week or even a month before my skin decides it's not having any of that.
This is my all time favorite foundation! Normally I wear bb cream because I like the natural feeling, but when I feel like I need extra coverage this is the perfect product. They have a really great color range as well. I find that this works for almost any skin type. I have combination skin and it controls my oily parts and doesn't cling to any dry parts. It feels really light and if you find the right color, looks like you aren't wearing any foundation! It has amazing coverage as well. The only thing I would change would be to add a pump to this because when I try to get product out I usually get too much and end up wasting it. But overall, best foundation I've tried!
This is a go to foundation if I think my skin looks dehydrated. It does not have the lasting power of Revlon Colorstay on my oily skin but does have a beautiful satin finish that seems to make my skin appear more hydrated. Great coverage for such a light weight feeling foundation, can be buildable without looking cakey. My favorite time to use this, and why I purchase it, is when I have over done it out in the sun and need a bit of glow added back to my skin, I have 2 bottles to match my skin tone and when used with the fit me powder its a great texture.
this is a waste of money. I bought a bottle out of desperation (my lancome order was late) when I put it on its like its fighting woth my skin, it won't blend in until I have sponged it almost all off. AND YEAH. IT BREAKS YOU OUT. I am glad to see I'm not crazy and others had this reaction too. I will never wear this junk again.
I really like this, it's really inexpensive and I'm only 14 which is awesome, and I found my perfect color which is hard, and it's not to cakey and thick. It covers up blemishes and look natural, and I didn't break out like a lot, just my usual acne.
seriously this stuff blows. never had acne in my life and this gave me a horrible cystic breakout that left me with intense PIH that I'm finally just getting over like, 8 months later. not to mention that the color is really orangey, the consistency is gross and the packaging blows. probably the worst foundation I've ever used. I looked like an oil slick 3 hours into my day, and I have dryer skin if anything. switched to MUFE HD and it's infinitely better.
It gives a beautiful coverage, but it broke me out and I'm STILL recovering. Try at your own risk.
I like the price and packaging on this product but the actual foundation itself is awful.
The only way I can describe it is a liquid colour, If you're pale skinned don't go near this, it's very very orange! It doesn't make skin look nice, it doesn't cover anything, its very transparent liquid. Unless you have poreless, blemishless, perfect airbrush skin, I don't think this foundation is going to do anything for you unfortunately.
I normally tend to buy bourjour healthy mix foundation but wanted to try something with a little more coverage. I really like this foundation. It leaves a nice glow on my skin and stays on pretty well. I have found that it goes on better using my fingers rather than a sponge or foundation brush. I would repurchase this item. I do have to use powder over it to fix it but I think that is more my skin than the foundation itself.
