I bought this when I wanted to venture out into setting spray world. Worst 3$ ive ever spent.

I normally love all ELF products, but this is just awful. The week I tested it out before i invested in Fix+, I noticed the horrid smell that comes from this product. Yes, it only lasts for a few seconds, but it still smells terrible!! Its like the mac and cheese mix before you mix it. After I got the fix+, i decided to try taking the ELF spray to work with me, so i can spray after I powder in the work day. MISTAKE. The sprayer sprays so unevenly, it ends up making you look worse than before you powdered. It dries all splotchy and messy on powder, and makes you look like a nightmare.

I love this product. I look a little powdery after I finish my makeup and this adds a moist look back into my skin. I haven't noticed any kind of off smell, but I guess I'm not so sensitive to smells of something if it's a good product. I will definitely buy this again.

I probably won't buy this again. I have oily skin..and when I first spray it on my face, it makes it look nice and adds a little shine so my face looks more natural and not so matte. but after an hour or so, it gets sooo oily!

Cons:
Stinks (pretty bad but it only lasts for a second)
Spray nozzle is a bit intense (hence why I only gave it 3 lippies) and I wish it was more of a mist (it's fine, I just let the moisture evaporate, it only takes a moment)

PROS:
CHEAP!
IT WORKS!

I would ABSOLUTELY buy this again. I'd WAY rather deal with the awful smell for a moment than spend $12+ for the Urban Decay product.

The comments about the smell of this product really are telling the truth. This smells like pee. That is what I thought when I opened the bottle. I thought I got an old bottle or something, as I didn't read any reviews before buying (a mistake); but since a lot of people have had this problem it must just be a bad product. I haven't even sprayed this on my face because I don't want it to smell like this product. It truly is horrible. Would NOT recommend to anyone. Straight in the bin, annoying as I could have got another blush for the price instead :(

This product is actually really good! The smell isn't that bad, and a lot of people can't even smell it, but I can. It smells bad for like 3 seconds! Then it goes away. People are so dramatic on here. But it gets rid of that powdery look and it makes your makeup look amazing! Idk if it stays longer but its defenetly a must have for me! And only $3, omg crazy. I would reccomend this to you if you don't like a powdery look but don't want to look shiny either. And it helps with oil too!

This is okay, but it doesnt really keep your makeup on longer. It's more to me like a spray to cool your face if you live in a humid area (like I do). It was kinda expensive to me, especially since it's E.L.F. I never use it, either so sort of a waste.

Not sure what else I could say that others haven't already said. It gets rid of that powdery look. I'm not sure if it makes my makeup stay on any longer though. Yes, it smells terrible. It smells sort of like fake cucumbers. I feel like the spray is too concentrated in one place; it should be more of a fine mist. I usually spray it on my big powder brush and swirl it on my face instead of spraying directly on my face. It's not a bad product if you can get over the smell.

The Good: Does what it claims. Makes makeup last longer, removes the powdery-cakey look. Gives your face a matte/dewy (natural) finish.

The Bad: it doesn't smell as terrible as described in other reviews, but it doesn't smell pleasant, either. It's like a plastic sort of smell, and fades away after a minute or so, but I wish ELF would work on the scent, it's the only thing that's keeping me from giving it a 5 and raving about this. I do like using it despite the smell.

All of the reviews here are accurate -- the spray is not fine enough & very uneven plus it smells bad. I don't think it smells like poop but it has that sort of artificial cucumber smell that makes it smell like melted plastic & mustiness. It is very unpleasant but it doesn't last so I'm not as bothered. What I hate is how it causes my makeup to separate. I don't know if it's because the spray is too concentrated but it always separates my makeup and I'd rather look cakey than patchy. A big disappointment. continued >>
