I am so impressed with this powder. Have been wanting to try it for years and I finally bought it for about $6 at Meijer. Love the old school fragrance, the super fine texture and the way it makes my skin look airbrushed. Took away all the "summer" shine and left me with a soft matte finish. I am done looking for powders.
I relied on Makeup Alley finding me an inexpensive powder that works beautifully and this is it. I found it at a Kmart on a sidekick, picked the naturally neutral, use a light brush and lightly tap it on my face. The first day I have to say my skin did itch and I was afraid to try it again. After that, no more itching and I love the scent too. I'm so glad I found this powder so I do not have to search anymore!

I can't live a day without applying this powder once or twice. You get a little circle pouf with the powder, but i just throw it away. I put the cover on, flip it over and tap the bottom of the powder. Then when I open up my powder, there's the perfect amount of powder in this lid. I like to take a really soft and full kabuki brush and I buff my face with the distributed powder in the lid. This huge powder will last me forever too! I apply the powder to my t-zone because it always seems to be the most shiny.
This powder also makes me feel fresh and flawless for when I'm on the go. The powder works all day long, but i usually like to take a quick sweep of my kabuki brush over my nose and forehead before I leave the house. Works amazing!
The only thing I would say I don't like is the smell which is VERY STRONG, like an old womens perfume, but after a while I got used to it, and now the scent doesn't bother me.
For anyone who doesn't like the fragrance, there is a fragrance-free version. Instead of the gold colored box, look for the blue!
I do like this powder very much. Funny- I thought it was just me- it's cool to see others who love it too. I guess I'll stick with it after all!

Coty Airspun powder has been used not only by my grandmother but also me. However, it was not until some years ago that I have realized I am allergic to talc. Now the powder itself has a very rose (?) aroma. I believe this formula has not been changed ever since it has been developed. The powder is soft. It true that it can enhance your pores. BUT the bottom line is that it made my skin ITCH LIKE HELL (maybelline, covergirl are guilty as well).

Great product that I have loved for years --- even better with the new packaging. Unlike most powders/foundations, this is not too yellow for my alabaster skin. Cheap, smells great and keeps my skin shine-free throughout the day. Love, love, love.

I'm sorry...I didn't like it!
1.) It accentuated my pores like nothing ever has. I didn't know I had pores in certain places until I used this powder! There were little colored dots all over my face. This is a new experience for me....
2.) I mean no disrespect, but it smells like old lady. And that's fine if...you're an old lady or you enjoy that smell, but I don't. I kept getting distracted during the day (not just when I first put it on) by the smell of my own face. I don't want to be able to smell my own face.
I tried it by itself over moisturizer and over foundation, and both yielded the same results. It didn't break me out or cause any irritation, but the smell and the look are deal breakers for me.
This is something I really cannot do with out. this is hg loose powder for me. this leaves my skin looking velvety and it is very reasonably price.

I have used this powder in translucent on and off for over 35 years. It does have a slight Noxema smell to it but I always find that to be refreshing. The coverage is excellent, it does not settle into my "not-so-fine" lines and wrinkles and it stays on until you take it off. I prefer to apply it with a big fluffy powder brush and I also use a fine liner brush to set my undereye liner. I also have enlarged pores down both sides of my nose on my cheeks. While other powders tend to settle or pool into the pores, this powder has never caked into them. Just a lovely finisher for your makeup and the price is right.

Simply put: THE BEST LOOSE POWDER EVER MADE!!!!!! I am a makeup junkie and use mostly all high end products, but I have NEVER found a loose powder that compares to this stuff. I have used Coty "Translucent Extra Coverage" for 20 years (I'm 35) and I still love it! If you use a good powder pouf you get a fuller coverage and a velvety texture that is AMAZING! Or you can use a powder brush to lightly set your makeup with it. If you use it with a pouf over your foundation you will be picture perfect!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS!!!
