All time favorite mascara! I have very long natural eyelashes, but they are very light and virtually invisible without mascara. I only use waterproof mascaras, as I am a contact wearer and often have to use eye drops during the day. This mascara does not move throughout the day. It is also great at holding curls in the lashes and doesn't leave them feeling waxy. It is a true black color and actually does give a somewhat "false lash efffect".

I am Chinese with straight eyelashes. I have had difficulty finding a mascara that will not straighten my lashes after curling them. The one that works for me is L'Oreal Panoramic Curl Waterproof mascara but sadly it had been discontinued. After looking at all directions for another mascara that works for me, I stumbled upon Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsie Waterproof mascara. I am so happy that the curl stays after curling my lashes with the curler! This mascara also gives you volume. I have not experienced any clumping so far. I will stick with this mascara as long as Maybelline produces them. I will look no further.

At first, I hated this mascara cos of the clumpiness, but my number 1 tip is to make it work and after, you'll love it!! My (other)tip is (to fix the extreme clumpy ness) right before you use the mascara, take a scrap piece of paper, take the wand and take off the excess from the bristles. I wouldn't recommend a tissue cos it'll have bits of it in the mascara and it's really gross. hope it helps!!!

Really good mascara. It does what it says it does; adds volume and makes my lashes all VA-VOOM!!!!
I have long thin lashes that grow straight down so this helps bring them up.
The packaging is uber cute and really secure~

I got this for about $5 at shoppers drug mart. Now, it didn't make my lashes look fake (that's impossible, they're tiny) but I really like this. I got the black drama one. I was kind of scared to try it because a lot of people said it's clumpy but it wasn't clumpy at all for me. The color was a deep black, it added length and volume and kept the curl. The curl does drop after it gets wet but that's expected. It won't come off or smudge in water at all, I went swimming with it on. But its not too hard to take off with a good waterproof makeup remover or just baby oil. I also love the spoon brush, it was probably why I chose to try this over colossal. And the purple tube is really cute. I do feel like covergirl lashblast does a bit of a better job at lengthening but this is easier to take off. I probably will buy this again one day but I want to try some other ones first. All in all, this is a great mascara. I don't like wearing waterproof mascara everyday but if I'm going swimming or something then this is definitely great. :)

I was so excited when I got this mascara because it was one of the first maybiline mascaras ive tried but, after using it a couple of times i realized it had a really wierd smell. & I got this when it was allergy season & my eyes were watery, it would smear & clump. It said it was very black but it wasnt at all, my lashes were darker than the actual mascara. & it didnt make your lashes look like false lashes at all.!! I actually liked the brushes shape until I put it on... It got all over my upper waterline and a little on my eyelid. I will never buy this again!!

Best drugstore mascara I've found to date. It won't give volume and length with much finesse, in fact it pretty much clumps when layered a little too thickly, but I don't mind because the effect it gives my lashes is worth it. My eyes look instantly awake and larger.

I was very disappointed with this mascara. It did not give me a false lash effect in any way! It just made a clumpy mess. Womp womp.

it really does give great volume and thickness and i actually prefer this than thw magnum. but i still use both. i think the complains about how its hard to get rid off is depending on the eye makeup remover. i use the maybelline eye and lips makeup remover and i just need 2 swipes and its gone. although i do use the tbs camomile waterproove eye makeup to get rid off the oilyness
