I got this blush when ELF was having a 50% off sale on their studio line and I only paid $1.50. Totally amazing blush. You only need the smallest amount for it to show up. So just dip your brush and then swipe it on your cheekbones and blend. If you want a darker look, add more. For that price I should have ordered more but I wasn't sure if I would like it or not. I definitely will be buying more even at their regular price which is a steal as well.
Wow, excellent blush for $3 -- as a matter of fact, I have searched for a reasonably priced pink pink blush like this for a very long time. I am VERY picky about my blush, especially the color and the price. Many girls might get scared of this color in the pan because it looks so neon pink -- but this doesn't look neon on the skin (not mine anyway). On me, some brands, even though they are a cute light pink in the pan, look okay when I apply them but eventually turn more bronze on my face after a while. I don't know if they are oxidizing or what -- perhaps it has something to do with them mixing with my skincare products. Anyway, this one doesn't turn color on me. So, even though this is neon in the pan, it goes on a natural young pink on the cheeks -- PERFECT.
This is definitely my favorite blush at the moment. It provides such a bright and fun wash of color to the cheeks. I have absolutely no complaints about this product and I probably have nothing else to say that others haven't already.
Go and get this blush!
Love it! :) I was on the lookout for a really good inexpensive blush and at only £3.50 this did not disappoint.
The blush looks shockingly bright in the pan, but if applied with a light hand gives my cheeks a very pretty rosy-pink glow and really brightens up my complexion. I found that the product piled onto my brush really easily, so I only needed to gently swipe the brush across. The first time, I didn't realise how much had adhered to the brush and so I ended up with way too much on my face and because I'm pale, it looked really lurid. If you're pale like me, go reeeally easy on swiping the blush up! I like the fact I have to use so little of it though as it means it'll last for ages. It is easy to spread over my skin and has a lovely silky texture.
I can see that this would be a really good product for a variety of skin tones as the colour can easily be built up from a gentle layer to a brighter pink, so pale people can wear it without looking OTT and darker skinned people can get more depth of colour.
The only negative for me is (as someone else mentioned)the fact that the blush does make a bit of a mess of the pan as it's so loosely packed. However, it's not a big issue.
The packaging is really sturdy, closes firmly and even contains a mirror so it does its job!
I will definitely ensure I always have this in my make-up bag!
Looks crazy bright in the pan, but the color looks gorgeous on cheeks. Color comes out to a natural flushed pink on my cheeks. Elf blushes aren't well pigmented alone so I like to use it over cream blushes. Def would repurchase.
Looks really bright in the pan, but on my NC30 skin I can apply it with impunity. Which is nice, because sometimes you don't feel like tiptoeing around with a stippling brush.
I love this blush it looks great with my skin tone and is easy to use. The packaging is great as well. 5 stars! :)
Nice cool toned doll pink! Doesn't get that weird cheap powder filmy layer over it like other elf brushes have for me in the past. I like this very much and would buy again!
I have very fair skin and this blush shows up really bright on me! But, I love it. My cheeks are pretty rosy normally so this just enhances it a bit and makes it a consistent color. I wear this nearly every day, even when I'm not wearing any other makeup!
I don't understand how this is being compared to NARS. The pigmentation, texture, and application is not on parity with NARS. It is more on parity with NYX blushes than NARS. I purchased this last week and received it today. Personally I find this shade to be too chalky and it doesn't have much staying power. The color showed on my NW45/NW47 skin tone but it quickly faded due to my oily skin. Plus when I applied it, it looked like I used Crayola street chalk to my cheeks. Not a good look. Personally I rather stick with NARS or even better Rock & Republic blushes. Now that is a quality blush worth spending your hard earn cash.
