This was actually the first foundation brush I tired. I've always used my fingers not realizing that a brush would actually have an effect on the finish of my foundation. Until I watched ccasteneda on YouTube and heard her rave about this. I bought it for about $15 and I LOVE IT! It allows me to use much less foundation than when I apply with my fingers and it really does give me an even, airbrushed finish. I use the stipple and buff technique and I really love it. I will def repurchase this brush if I ever need to.

After reading the reviews and talking to many makeup artists that say this is their favorite foundation brush I decided to give it a try. I'm in love so far. I've used this brush with liquid and cream foundations and found the application to be smooth and gives the foundation a polished look. Definitely recommend this brush to anyone. I took one lippie off because cleaning this brush is a pain....it takes forever to dry.

I tend to use light to medium coverage foundations, and have had great results with this brush for the last week. It's very soft to the touch, easy to work with, and gives a lovely smooth finish. My only caveat would be that cleaning the brush is a little bit of a chore, given the density of the placement of the bristles.

This is my first post! I recently purchased the F80 brush after reading rave reviews on here. I've never really been into make-up brushes, and have been quite happily applying liquid foundation with my fingers for years. I wasn't sure whether to believe the hype about this brush but went ahead and purchased. It arrived today and I rushed home from work this evening to try it out and...I'm amazed. I've heard people say your skin looks airbrushed, well, it's true. My foundation has never looked so well (for reference, I like my foundation to look ultra-natural, like a flawless second skin). True, I can't compare this brush to other foundation brushes, not having used any others, but I do know that the finish I get with this brush is super-unbelievable. Believe the hype.

I own several Sigma brushes - for the value they sometimes rival MAC brushes - and the F80 is turning into my favorite brush to apply foundation with. I like to really buff my foundation into my face so that it looks natural and there are no lines. This brush is great for that and does not shed while working with it. I have purchases several new brands of brushes lately and for buffing foundation into the face I find this superior to either the Costal Scents buffer brush or the Real Techniques brush. I will say, though, that the Real Techniques brush used to apply concealer and paint pots is a great buy for about $10 and is my favorite for that use.

At first I got this brush with the purpose of using it as my founation brush, but I wasn't as please and started using the angled brush it came with in the kit. I usually use this as a blush brush now. It's a little denser then I like my blush brushes but sometimes I am very please with how it applys blush.

I bought the 3 set from sigma just recently, and the F80 is now my HG foundation brush!! This brush is THE one and only brush I turn to when I need to put on liquid foundation. The bristles are super soft and dense enough to equally distribute product. The finish is completely flawless! This one tops even my Beautly Blender! For $16.00, the quality is superb!!! Every girl should have one!

I own two of these and absolutely love them. I wish I owned another one. I do not like to use dirty brushes and this brush does take a while to dry so that is why I have two. I use them for liquid foundation. Great for getting more coverage. I hate flat paddle style foundation brushes. This brush is perfect for me. It does give high coverage, so if you want lighter coverage I would look for a brush that is not as dense as this one is. This is one of my favorite brushes I own! Sigma makes great brushes, better than a certain high end brand you may have heard about, in my opinion.

I may be one of the very few people alive who hates this brush. I don't know what it is, but this does not work for me when I apply liquid foundation at all!! First, it seems like it absorbs the foundation into the brush and then that buffing motion we are suppose to use after stippling it on, ok yea right, that's not as smooth as its said to be. I don't know if its my foundation(MAC liquid) but this brush is pathetic to me. And Second, the quality of sigma brushes are trash. Yup, I said it. I brought the 3 brush HD set as soon as they appeared on the website and less than 4months after receiving them all three handles were loose and other brushes I own by sigma the handles are loose as well(washed correctly). Didn't want to spend money on MAC brushes in the past but I decided to invest in certain brushes because I think it will be worth it.
