I'm quite surprised that this mascara is good. I got this in a GWP and it really extends my lashes to give me a volumized look to my eyes. It doesn't flake like my other mascaras do so this one might be my perfect match. I can't wait to buy more!
UPDATE: WOULD NOT CONSIDER DUE TO ANIMAL TESTING FOR CHINESE MARKET 17/02/2012 Ordinary formula. Got it with GWP and will not buy the full version.
I'm not a fan of Clinique's mascaras but I actually really like way this mascara looks on my lashes, giving them definition and length. The formula isn't wet and heavy and my lashes are still curled by the end of the day when I wear this. I was pleasantly surprised by the application as well. When I first looked at the skinny wand I thought no way will this apply well but it doesn't clump which I love. However I'm taking off one lippie for the smudging and another lippie off for the flaking. I've already got dark undereye circles, no way do I need my mascara contributing to the problem!
I like wp mascaras in general because I find they dont flake or smudge as much. I got this as part of a gwp and though it isnt wp, I like that it has not smudged nor flaked on me. I like the color and the effect which is subtle but still see some volumizing. I think all mascaras are too wet intially and look much better after I've had them and used them for a little bit of time, this is not different. I usually wait till that stage to review a product, and may amend this one if I change my mind about it. Its a nice mascara and right now with my allergies making my eyes itch and ache (allergy season), I cant wear eye makeup every day, but when I can I think a mascara thats hypoallergenic and gentle, might be a good thing to have on hand.

Got this as a sample. This really does separate and lengthen lashes. The effect is sort of - I don't know - clean. I've seen reviews talking about smudging - I found a little at the end of the day, and a wee (very tiny) bit) of flaking. But nowhere near as much as I get with most mascaras, with my eye shape (roundish, with some puffiness underneath).
This mascara offers subtle definition for a professional situation. I'll hang on to it for that reason, but tend to prefer a little more volume. (Hey, maybe that's why I'm getting all the smudge!)

I got this as a free sample with a Clinique purchase, and have been using it as an everyday mascara since. I have naturally long, dark lashes and I like this mascara because it adds a little bit of volume, and quite a bit of length, perfect for everyday lashes. It doesn't clump, nor does it give me the dreaded spider lashes.
There are some cons to it though: it smudges easily and doesn't hold a curl very well. The formula used to clump occasionally, but it doesn't now for some reason. Nonetheless, this mascara is one of my HGs.
Will I buy it again? I would, but I'll probably never had to since it seems to be in every single GWP that Clinique offers. It's a really good mascara, especially if you're looking for length, and you can get it for about C$20 + tax at The Bay or wherever they sell Clinique products.
This mascara is not what it's advertised to be and that's why they keep giving it away as GWP..
It made me look like a raccoon. Cute for the movies but not in real life. It doesn't make lashes thicker, longer or anything you would want in a mascara!
But hey, if it's free, use it. Won't be happy if you purchase it.
I hate that stupid tapered brush, too. So stiffffff
Alright-
Good mascara. A little pricey.
Doesn't clump.
Smudges throughout the day, expect some grayish smudges under your eyes.
Doesn't "double" your lashes. Mostly just lengthens them, but nothing dramatic. Very Natural.
Would I buy again? Not really, but not a bad mascara. Nothing very special.
