Love this eyeliner. Goes on very black, pencil is really soft and the best thing of all is that it does not budge. I think this is a really great substitute for UD Zero liner if your looking to save money. Would definately buy again.

ok ive been using revlon colorstay for years...its the only one that does not irritate me....but I needed something super black for my waterline....this is super black alright!!!!! It may need some reapplication during the day,,,, and for all over my entire eye it may smudge some if touched or rubbed unlike the covergirl. I have decided to use it for my waterline. sometimes i line under the top lashes i guess you can call that the waterline of my upper eyelid....
Now this eyeliner is very black and also very soft....comparable to kohl or kajal eyeliners......
(dont think this prestige is a kajal if it is someone please let me know)))
Thing is some kajal or kohl eyeliners have ingredients in them that contain lead ...some of the companies that produce it are not even sure of the lead content so thats why I stay away.....
Overall deep black, very soft, smudges a little but good and healthy...
I have tried a lot of eye pencils and this is by far one of the easiest to work with. I love how it applies smoothly and doesn't drag or skip on the lid. It stays put forever, even with my contact lenses in. It is amazing to find such a high quality product at a drug store price. I'm so glad I tried this!
My bank account balance is usually somewhere in the single digits, but I had a terrible problem with smudging eyeliner that just had to be solved. Then the gods smiled upon me and directed me to this cheap Prestige eyeliner, which can be smudged at first (if you would like that look) or left for a few seconds to set, after which it will not budge (and I have somewhat oily lids). Even on the waterline it does not move much, though it may require a touch-up after a few hours. So yes, Virginia, there is a God. And for those ladies of legal age and over: if you will be spending the night clubbing, or, ahem, at a friend's house, don't worry, you won't end up raccoon-eyed the next morning. Unless you rub your eyes in your sleep, and God help you if you do.

I really do like this eyeliner. It is by far, the blackest black liner that I've ever encountered. All my other liners look dull and grey swatched next to Deepest Black. I absolutely love the consistency, it's so incredibly creamy and smooth. It wasn't completely smudge proof for me, but the best I've tried so far. I don't really blame the liner, my upper eyelids are oily and puffy and slightly hooded, so smudging is nearly inevitable. How ever, I did have to take off one lippie- it's hard to draw a thin line, makes my eye sting a little bit and is definitely NOT FOR WATERLINING!

:/
I wanted to love this - it is by far the darkest, blackest pencil, and it does glide on super smooth. Sadly, even with UDPP and over shadow, it still smudges like crazy on me. I do have oily lids, but with UDPP I can manage to have most things stay put. Not this.

amazeballs, i have the stilla kajal (sp?) tried UD zero, Mac black track, MakeForever waterproof, other waterproof drug store, and this beat ALL OF THEM, my lids are really oily and have watery eyes. This stays on. it just glides on and is really soft like the kajal, however i'm scared to sharpen it because i feel that it might break.

Ok, so there are 8 shades in this line and I've purchased them all. This review is for the Deepest Black (and I've already purchased a 2nd one---gave it to my 14 year old daughter to try out, and she loves it as well)....What I love about this liner? It's a rich deep almost liquidy-looking black. Stays put on my waterline, yet still smudges easily when first applying it if you're wanting to go for a smokey eye. This is creamy yet I don't feel like I'm wasting any.
What I didn't like? I still get a bit of travel/smudge but not as bad as some other black liners that shall remain nameless. This is by far the most budge-proof. I also hated the fact that when I first purchased it, the cap was all but glued on, and when DH and I finally got it pried off, it broke the tip and immediately had to be sharpened. I've had this problem with all 9 that I've purchased (each shade). So its a packaging defect, for sure. Will I repurchase? At $5 apiece, you bet.

I'd give this a ZERO, but considering the pigmentation is great (super deep black) and staying power (on my hand, at least) is very good, I'm giving it a ONE. The reason I'm scoring this so low is because, as another reviewer commented, this eye pencil STINGS and caused such an allergic reaction, that even Benedril didn't relieve my eyes for an entire 24+ hours! OMG I'm a black eyeliner pencil addict, and I've tried many, but I have NEVER had an allergic reaction to a pencil before! I used to love the Prestige Waterproof eye pencil (the one you sharpen yourself), until they changed the formula. The current formula seems too waxy and is hard to line the waterline with, but at least it does stay put once on, and it doesn't sting! However, the pigmentation of the waterproof black is a bit dull, so I switched to Urban Decay's ZERO, which I love because it also stays put and it's a very stark black. However, Zero's high price point made me want to seek another brand -- and I was so excited when I read about Prestige Total Intensity. I ended up buying 2 black TI pencils, and within 30 min of putting it on, OMG -- my eyes started burning like mad, and turned really red. I removed the eye makeup, flushed out my eyes, and took a Benedril, and they still ended up getting puffy and watering for over 24 hours! I was miserable. I made the mistake of retesting the pencil a few days later, just to make sure it was the pencil, and sure enough, the same reaction!! I don't know what is in this, but I'm returning these asap. I just wish Prestige would go back to the original waterproof black eye pencil formula, as the Total Intensity line is never going to work for me!!!! :( I wonder what chemicals are in this Total Intensity black pencil???? ugh!!
EDIT:
I've changed my rating from a 1 to a 3 lippie for this pencil because I finally found a way to wear it without my eyes going crazy on me (luckily I never got to return it because I couldn't find the receipt). I used a lid primer (a nude colored one from L'oreal -- I don't know the name off hand). I lined both my upper and lower lids this am, and so far so good! I think the primer acts as a line of defense against whatever is irritating my eyes in this product. My eyes feel slightly irritated, but not horribly so -- I can live with it. I did NOT line my waterline however, as I'm too chicken right now after what happened before. Next week, I'll try lining my waterline one more time, just because I'm that much of a stark black eyeliner freak. lol If I make it, I'll give this pencil a higher rating, but for now, it's a 3.
EDIT...AGAIN!
Ok, so it's now 9:50 pm and my eyes have been RED and tearing for the past 2 hours. It started off as just a bit irritated at first, but the last hour has been really bad. Man oh man, as much as I LOVE the stark black color of this pencil, I just can't put up with the allergic reaction, and believe me...I tried! :( I'm going back to giving this a 1 lippie rating! UGH!
