Got this as a Sephora 100 point perk sample size. First off, I FREAKING LOVE THE BRUSH on this mascara. I, personally, am not a big fan of those volumizing mascara brushes, makes me smduge everytime. I like the lengthening/defining mascara brushes instead because I can use them so much more effectively without getting it to smudge below my eyes. This mascara was one of the better ones for looking natural and giving my eyelashes that "fake eyelash" look. It's not very lasting wear though. It tends to smudge maybe in an hour or bit, that made me sad. So what I do is apply 1-2 coats and then apply a coat of my favourite non-smudging Blinc Kiss Me mascara so it won't smudge. It still does smudge but to a minimal level. My eyelashes also feel so soft even though I am wearing 2 coats of this mascara. Probably is one of my favourite mascaras for thickening mascaras without looking spider-leggy. Definitely worth a try! I might repurchase once I've tried out the other mascaras out there!

I got a travel size version with some lip gloss. This mascara is alright. Definitely not worth $20. First of all, it is not waterproof, not even water resistant. The first sign of moisture and this stuff runs down my face....not good if you wear contacts, live in a humid climate, or have allergies.

But, it separates my lashes wonderfully, better than any other mascara I've tried. It helps with giving that "false lash look", but it needs help because it gives pretty much no volume or length. I guess it would be good if you want a natural look, but I'm always after the most dramatic lashes I can achieve.

So I layer my maybelline colossal on top and it is AMAZING. But I probably wont re-purchase because I can't pay $20 for a mascara that needs to be layered over other mascaras to be good.

This is my go-to mascara. My eyes are prone to irritation from cheap makeup, and this mascara has been kind to them. It doesn't cause styes and my lashes don't fall out like they do with cheaper brands. It makes my lashes look naturally fuller, not clumpy at all. I have pretty full eyelashes anyway, and people ask me if I wear fake lashes when I have this on.


I took one point off of packaging quality because sometimes the cap detaches from the wand when I try to take the wand out.

I liked this mascara ok.

I found that a single coat gave me nice looking and not too spidery lashes.

It didn't blow my mind enough to buy it again and I never miss it now that its finished. Good product but no better than the average drugstore product that is cheaper.

HG mascara all the way! I've searched everywhere for a mascara that won't give the effect of 6 fat lashes, and I have finally found one that separates my lashes so well giving the perfect fullness effect! What I love about this mascara is that you will get just the right amount of mascara so that it will never ever clump. The first coat will give you a very full, natural look, and if you desire more drama just simply add more coats (and it still maintains the separation). One downfall is that if you're looking for length, you are not going to get much of it from this mascara, however, if you're looking for amazing separation and holding power from a washable mascara, this is definitely the one for you.

Got this as a mini sample with a Sephora purchase....have used it every day for a week, because I love trying out new mascaras to see if there is anything better out there than what I have. Was very disappointed in this. Smears like crazy (I had little black half circles on my under eye area after 30 seconds - which has NEVER happened to me after applying mascara unless I sneeze or slip up), doesn't lengthen or thicken, just overall very blah. The only thing positive I can say is that it does do a good job of separating the lashes, but that is probably because of the weird spiky brush. And I imagine you could get the same effect with a metal lash comb. For $18 I expect a pretty superior mascara, not something that doesn't hold a candle to drugstore mascara. Glad I didn't pay for this!

Blehhh. Super disappointed by this stuff.

Pros: It didn't irritate my eyes.

Cons: No dramatic length at all, and I have already-long lashes! Smears like a mofo-- I don't even really touch my eyes, and this still migrated to my undereye area. Not a good look!

Love Love Love!!! I've been using this for a while and although I'm (apparently) naturally blessed with awesome lashes this just makes them even better. The brush is great and I always end up with super long thick lashes. I have to actually be careful when I'm wearing my glasses since my lashes rub aginst them if I apply it like normal. What can I say, I like the super dramatic lashes, it adds instant sexy glamour to even basic eye shadows (I'm naturally lazy and will often just swipe one color of shadow and mascara). I don't have a huge raccon eye problem, even when crying (unless I'm seriously bawling my eyes out). I wear contacts and haven't had any problems with irritation, even when I fall asleep in it. $18 sounds steep, but it lasts forever, I've had my tube at least 4 months, probably closer to 6 and it's the ONE thing I NEVER leave the house without, so it's used at least once a day every day.

This mascara looks great on. I love the wand. HOWEVER--it smears like a mofo!! A brisk walk, rain, tears, or simply rubbing my eye smears this stuff all over my face. It is almost useless. If I were living in a temperature controlled pod it would be great, but it just doesn't work; It looks great for 10 minutes and then you'll notice the stares of people wondering if you've recently attended a funeral.

This is a good dramatic mascara. I wouldn't wear this during the day because my lashes almost look fake when I wear this. I love the brush because it feels like I get all of my lashes coated and they are all even. It was very pricy for me ($18 from sephora.com) but I think it was worth it. I really liked this look for night and loved the reactions I got from wearing this product.
