HOLY CRAP, you definitely get bang for your buck with this brush! I mostly use it to apply my tinted moisturizer and sometimes my foundation on those days I feel I need more coverage. I've also tried applying my finishing powder and powder foundation with this brush and I love the soft, even application it gives. It buffs out perfectly.. There is absolutely no streaking, no shedding, and the bristles are uber-soft! I have some expensive brushes, and boy... at $3, this brush does the same exact job, if not BETTER than a high-end brand. It's absolutely worth trying out! My favorite brush from ELF :)

I really like this brush, it's not the most amazing brush in the world, but it does what it's supposed to :)

After looking at countless 5 star reviews of this brush, I definitely wanted to try it. And I'm really glad I did! It's unbelievably soft! Compared to the e.l.f. Total Face Brush... well, there is no comparison. It feels like heaven. I could spend all day just petting it. And the good things don't just stop there. It has multiple uses. It can be used with foundation for pretty full coverage (which is what I do), with powder, blush, bronzer, basically any powder. I use it for foundation, powder, and blush, and it does a great job for all three. When I first took it out, it shed a few hairs, but since then, it hasn't shed ONE hair, even after multiple washes! And did I mention it's $3? :)

I love this brush! I used to use sponges for my foundation, but I felt like it was wasting so much product, because the sponge absorbs a lot. I've never used a brush to apply my foundation, and I didn't feel like a regular foundation brush would be time-efficient. So I bought this brush, since I was planning on seeing what I like then buying a better, more quality brush. But this brush is just amazing! It applies my medium-coverage foundation without any problems. No shedding. I only have to use about half the amount of foundation I'd have to use. I noticed a few hairs when I first washed it, but it hasn't shed on my face any. Great brush, def. a keeper.

After reading all the reviews about this brush my expectations were very high. After finally arriving in the mail I could finally see why all the girls were so excited about. It is one of the softest brushes I have ever used. Also for the amount of money that I paid I couldn't be happier.

I mostly use it for applying my finishing powder and sometimes foundation. I think it is perfect for applying powder because due to its shape it allows you to set everying beautifully.

After my experiences with thier white handle brushes, I had an extreme aversion to anything E.L.F. I could never bring myself to buy anything from their line. About 2 years later, after seeing numerous people on youtube and here rave about thier studio line of brushes, (this one in particular), I decided to bite the bullet and buy it. I am so glad I did! First of all the brush is so soft; like a rabbits tail, or a chinchilla! It applies my foundation beautifully. Also I use it to apply powder to my under eye area as a highlight. It does that amazingly well too, since the bristles are sooo dense. I am so glad that I decided to give this brush I try. I def will buy and extra one to keep on hand.E.L.F. is redeemed in my book!

I generally disliked this brush, I don't want to put anyone off because I know a lot of people like it but in my opinion its useless as a powder brush.

Pros:
Its soft
Looks nice and professional
Cheap!

Cons:
If I use it for buffing it makes my foundation go so cakey and dry!
It also seems to rub off my foundation even when I use it ever so gently.

For me the best way to use this brush is dab the powder on using the flat top and to tap it off using the side, I don't use this for liquid products as it is extremely hard to get clean and sheds a lot, unlike any of my other E.L.F brushes!
I hope this helps!

I first bought this brush back in 2010, and I fell in love! It was only $3, and worked very well both for applying powders or as a stippling brush. It was my daily go-to brush. Fast forward a year and a half - I went back and ordered 2 more last year. Given that I live in Canada, I have no choice but to order online, so I don't get to "see" what I'm getting. I was very disappointed when they arrived. The quality of the brushes I received were sub par, and it felt like the bristles were very sparse. It was nothing like the first brush that I had purchased in 2010. I gave these new brushes a chance, and it simply did not pick up any product (powder), nor did it blend well (liquid).

It's always a gamble when ordering E.L.F. products; It would be great if they had some more consistency with the quality of their products.

AWESOME brush for applying mineralized highlighter! I got MAC Superb Extra Dimension Skinfinish and was about to return it because it wasn't applying right with the brushes I had or my fingers. I read the reviews for this brush and gave it a go. PERFECT application for stippling the highlighter! the brush is soft and doesn't shed.
FYI-I don't use it to stipple/buff foundation so I can't say if it's good for that ot not.
