Got this product a while back, and I absolutely HATED it! It was so thick and just felt so lumpy when it was on! It's more of a highlighting concealer rather than a regular concealer. I usually love all Benefit products, but this one I hated, it faded after a few hours and just looked discoloured..

Turned orange after an hour or so looked cakey and totally unnatural. A dud product from benefit. They could do with more shades.

i got this in the "Mr. Bright" kit for christmas, so i have the mini version in medium. I love it! I've been looking so much for a good concealer for my somewhat dark red undereyes, and this worked like magic! i didn't get the little spatula, so all i do is use my finger and dab on a bit, and it's great! I'm loving Benefit!

I love Benefit...but this is horrible. Worn as an under eye concealer, it is so greasy that my makeup slides off within a short period of time and I have racoon eyes. Settles into fine creases and the color options are ridiculous. And the packaging...it comes in a pot with a spatula, I never know where to keep it so it won't get lost or dirty. And it's expensive! Horrible. Sorry Benefit, but I truely hate this.

This is for sure a very heavy and greasy concealer as many people have already pointed out. its definitely not for me, as i am looking for a more dewy natural finish to my makeup. it caked a whole lot and didnt look good at all and the colour wasnt right either. I also dont like how you really need ot stick your finger in the pot to get product out, and it gets all under your fingernails. if you use the spoon that comes with it its fine, although i dont like how theres excess product on there that you just cant seem to get off. it covers dark circles alright, and is not the worst concealer in the world but ive definitley had better from drug store brands.

Colour match is great but so greasy, very heavy concealer. It drags my skin down and it is so obvious that i got concealer on. I would not buy this again although i am a fan of BeneFit ....yes it is expensive like all benefit products but this isn’t working for me

Very pigmented, but it stops there. It creases under my eyes no matter how I apply it. With or without a brush, minimal amount and set with powder it still creases and disappears. MAC Studio Finish applied with a brush is the way to go.

I wouldn't buy this again, but only because it is SO expensive. For me, it is a good concealer. I know some people find it greasy, but I have super-dry skin, so this works well for me. That said, I don't often wear mascara, and I do find that greasy concealers tend to make mascara stray.

I bought fair and the colour is fine on me. I didn't find it particularly hard to blend, and as I said I have dry skin. I'm also very conscious about tugging skin around my eyes, and I didn't find that necessary, which is good. I am going to try applying it with a brush as well.

I also used it to cover a spot on my face. I didn't have high hopes since Touche Eclait makes spots look worse because of its highlighting properties - it draws attention to them, in my opinion. So I thought this would do the same, but it didn't. It went on really well, wasn't too thick or heavy, and has stayed well.

It is settling into the fine lines under my eyes, but so does every concealer I've ever tried.

I also liked the look of boiong, but that wouldn't work on my dry skin. If you're a bit oily, I'd recommend trying that instead of this.

But, I still can't get over the price. It's too expensive for what it is.

I wanted so much to love this product, and while I like it, I expected better. I have genetic dark circles that are around 24/7, regardless of the amount of sleep that I have gotten, and so, when I see a product that promises to do something about them, I tend to jump on it.


I didn't have problems, like a few people have mentioned on here, with the consistency. It's very thick and slightly oily, but undereye areas tend to be quite dry, so it can handle that better than, say, your t-zone. After a little bit of experimentation with the best way to apply it (I'd disregard the spatula that comes with it--you're best off with your own fingers), it does initially provide some great coverage. I got it in Medium 2, and it matched my skin well while providing a brightening effect to the area. I set it with a bit of Clinique powder, happy with the results. And then, an hour later, I looked in the mirror and was thoroughly disappointed. First, it creased badly. I do have large eyes (read: pronounced creases), but for the amount of this stuff that I put on (the tiniest little bit, as it's thick) and the price that I paid, the amount of creasing was unacceptable. Whenever I wear this, I always do the little undereye-swipe every-so-often to try to limit the inevitable lines of concealer that form. Second, after two hours, it had all but disappeared and I had to reapply. I think that this might have something to do with the fact that it seems to be so oil-based (matte stuff tends to slide around less), but for $25 plus the fact that it'd been set with powder, I expected this to stick around for a LOT longer.


This was a surprising disappointment for me--almost every single Benefit product that I've purchased in the past has been a success. However, my hunt for a good undereye concealer has taken me from Neutrogena to Clinique to Laura Mercier to YSL and back, and I've yet to find the perfect product, which made me a bit more lenient when I was considering my actual number ratings. Does one actually exist? I'm beginning to think not.
