The only mascara which doesn't irritate my super sensitive eyes!! It stays on up to 10 hour wear and yet so easy to remove. Try this one if you have sensitive eyes!

I have used this mascara for a number of years now and I during that time I have tried to find something a little cheaper, but I always end up going back to Estee Lauder Double Wear.
I live in the humid tropics and I can put this on in the morning and have it last all day, without wearing off (or marking my eyelids).
I love this mascara and have given up trying to find another cheaper version that matches it - nothing comes close.
Makes my eyelashes look thicker and longer and lasts all day and just washes off with warm water.

I have been searching ALL OVER for a mascara that didn't run or smudge. I am just one of those people that EVERYTHING ran. This mascara is great. It doesn't bother my sensitive eyes and says in place ALL DAY. Its not super great for dramatic lashes, but if you are looking for every day all day wear, this is great. I agree with some reviews that it flakes when you are taking it off, But only when you are taking it off so its not really a big deal. Love it. Get It.

I'm so disappointed in this. On the plus side, it does last all day and does not smudge. The bad thing is that it clumps on my lashes like crazy. I've tried everything to make it not clumb, even using a brush from another mascara tube but still, it clumps. I wanted to like this so much :( Unfortunately, I will not be buying this again.

First mascara I've used that does not smudge AT ALL over the course of the day. AT ALL. Seems to lengthen pretty well too.


If you want your lashes to look thicker too, try using a primer first. I like EL's Lash Primer Plus, but whatever you like best should be fine.


Edit: I have switched to Clinique's High Impact. It looks great and never clumps.

I got a small sample of this in a GWP and then bought the full size. It's the only mascara that I've ever tried that lasts the whole day without smudging!

EDIT: After finding more high end mascaras that stay all day, I'm bumping this mascara down to 4 lippies, since it makes the lashes crunchy and hard. If you layer on a little too much it can also clump.

I am giving this 4 out of 5 because it is probably good for some people. However I didn't get that this is lengthening and it clumps SO badly on my already long lashes. I need volume... but it was my mistake.

Zero Smudge FINALLY!!!!! This does not smudge one iota. It is a bit wet for my tastes, which uncurls my lashes a little bit, but no smudging or flaking. Woohoo! For not being a waterproof mascara, it is a bit difficult to take off even tho I used Lancome Bi-Facil and Boscia Makeup Breakup, but I think that will be a learning experience. I'll have to test it in the pool; my guess is it will NOT come off. Double Wear is the best!

I'm very impressed with this mascara. I went to my local EL counter looking for a cleanser and moisturizer to help my face after a particularly bad rosacea flare and ended up buying not only that but also mascara, eye shadow, lipstick & foundation (reviews to follow). I'm constantly searching for a mascara to help my stubby yet thick, light colored lashes- this one fits the bill !!! It really does what it says, lengthen ! I didn't notice it adding much volume, but boy did it lengthen. I wore it all day and it did not flake or smudge. It was very easy to remove with my Estee Lauder Soft Cream foaming cleanser.

***EDIT*** Really liked this mascara due to the fact it really lengthened my lashes, but it changed consistency on me & got a weird smell after only a couple months.

This is, hands down, THE best mascara I ever used. It not only lengthens my lashes a ton, it also volumizes. The brush is skinny so it reaches the corner lashes, but it's not too skinny. Also, after using this mascara for a while, I've noticed that my lashes have grown longer and become more curly than ever before. Of course, the drawback of a non-waterproof mascara is that it runs when it comes in contact with water, but if your eyes don't get wet then the mascara pretty much stays on your lashes and doesn't smudge. Of course, it IS Estee Lauder, which means it is priced higher than most drugstore mascaras...but I find the mascara to be worth every penny.
