I actually really liked this product. There aren't much drugstore powders out there without talc in them, so when I found out that this product didn't have any talc, I just had to buy it! The color selection isn't that great, you'd pretty much just have to guess. The colors on the outside of the packaging aren't really that helpful, either. They were usually a bit darker than the actual product. I ended up getting a color that was a little too light for me. Other than that, I really liked this product. It gave me a lot of coverage for a mineral powder, so I didn't have to use that much concealor. The brush is small and travel sized but it ended up being too rough for my skin. The product is really blendable, but if you end up using too much, you'd look chalky. I usually put some powder in the cap and swirl the product onto my kabuki brush and this works great!
the first time I used this, i was impressed. It gave me a nice flawless glow even without blush. I only use this twice or thrice a week because I only wanted to use these on special occasions, (lol). The coverage is good, even without concealer. The downfall of this product are, number 1 it stings. i don't have a sensitive skin but this one STINGS! it's prickly on my face after 2-3 hours of application and I don't know why! I even use MAC studio fix but it doesn't sting. number 2 is when you layer it on too much, it is chalky!! it works for others but for me, it doesn't.
I'm a powder fdn person all the way. I wanted to try MMU so I tried this
Finish: natural matte
Price: $14.53 CDN
Colour: Nude (Light 4) is beige w/yellow undertone
Texture: blends easily
-bother w/the brush in pkg.
-go by shades on website cuz it runs 2-4 shades darker than other Maybelline fdns.
I'm very careful when I venture into diff fdns cuz I have acne prone/oily/sensitive skin(=worst combo). This stays matte for 3-4h before I need to touch up. So far it hasn't broken me out. It's worth it if u want to try MMU but on a budget
This product gave me pimples! Urgh!! I thought it wasn't suppose to give us pimples since it's a mineral powder?!?! But, when i fist used this product, it looked good on my face and made my face glow. I just wasted my money. I have no idea what I'am gonna do with this ripoff powder. I don't want to throw it.. since it's just a waste. Grr..
It have a orange color to it and the brush was VERYY rough on my face!
I like this product. I've been using it for just over a month now and each time i use it it gives my skin a natural glow. It doesn't feel thick or heavy and feels better on my skin.
This was my first mineral makeup foundation that I bought just because I was really curious with how mineral makeup would perform compared to regular makeup and quite honestly, not really that impressed with it. I was really hoping for dramatic, HD, results but it was just like any other makeup I had. It was an "okay" product I guess, and the color I got really blended well with my skin but it was a hassle to take with you and put on since you had to struggle with the coarse and stiff brush since it didn't come with its own brush compartment or case. I found that unlike other mineral makeup that I've now tried, it one clumped a lot and didn't separate into fine particles which mineral makeup is supposed to look like but all in all, it gives light-medium coverage as a foundation, but other than that, it's just blah.
I like this. It goes on well and covers better than some other mineral powder foundations. It has a matte or semi-matte finish which keep shine away longer that other mineral powder foundations I have tried as well.
I have light-medium skin with a yellow undertone, and the classic ivory light-2 shade works for me. It has a more neutral-to-slight-pink than yellow undertone though. But it still works for me.
This is the worst product i have ever used on my face. At first it was really good and i loved it, but after a while it started to clog up my pores and my face was breaking out like crazy. It was just a waste of money.
This is better than Bare Minerals which I used to use at 25 dollars a jar. I use it over my stick concealer and it adds even more coverage. I also lightly brush it on my face to kinda blend it and it provides light, nice coverage. This is HG for me I have waaaay dark undereye circles and this helps a loooooooot. This paired with a flesh colored concealer works much better for me than those yellow or green sticks. So yes, buy it. I must have bought about 6 jars in the past 2 years!!
