This is a wonderful neutral lipstick that seems to work well on most skintones. It has a very creamy texture that keeps my lips feeling moisturized. It can be very versatile depending what liner you wear it with as well. You can make it more on the warm side by pairing it with Spice, and the cooler side by pairing it with Plum.
My first MAC lipstick. A classic for me. LOVE this.
This color is wonderful with my red hair and freckled skin. It glides on and leaves behind a wonderful warm shade.
This is a great no-fuss neutral lipstick for me. A brownish, mauve colour, I can wear this lipstick with a bare face if I want to feel put together. Since it is a satin/matte lipstick, you might want to exfoliate and put on a little lip balm before swiping this on unless you like that caked on flaky lipstick look.
On my very pale skin this actually is a bit bright. I mean that in a good way though, it brightens up my face. It is a vibrant pink with a hint of brown on me. Although it is a bit matte and can get dry, on the other hand it has good staying power. I can see myslef repurchasing.
I LOVE this lipstick. I prefer matte lipsticks because they last, and they can be dressed up with different glosses. This color is very complementary with my coloring. Paired with a Wet n Wild lip liner, this stuff lasts a long time...eating, drinking, etc.
Ouch....I did not like this at all. I think it was a combination of the colour which was too orange/brown on me and the Satin finish which was too matt for my liking (I much prefer Lustres). The end result was a very stark, harsh look. I returned it the next day and replaced with VivaGlam V which for some reason I do not own but now LOVE!!!!!
Yuck. It goes on brownish orange muddy but turns berry/mauve/brown on me. Not a flattering color and a very drying texture. Added 10 years to my appearance at least. On its way back.
I'm really liking this color.. I'm NC40 with pigmented lips.. Nude lipsticks often turn out pink on my lips but this one stays true.. I might need to purchase more to keep them in my handbag.. :)
I love this color! Due to my dark pigmented lips, I have to wear a lipstick with a gloss to get the pink lip look. I'm NC43 by the way. Anyway I wear this color two ways. For a daytime look I apply Twig lipstick, then I use a brown lip liner very lightly, rub my lips togther (at this point it'll look like the lip looks of 1995), then I apply Stila Lip Glaze in Mocha with a lip brush. The second look I wear when I do a smokey eye. I apply a thick layer of Twig, then rub it in really good with my finger ( I learned that from an episode of the Tyra Banks show), then I apply Philosophy Lip Shine-Cinnamon Buns over it. I love MAC for making this a versatile color!! I will definitely purchase again. One of the VERY few MAC products I would re-purchase.
