I have the travel size. I got it for about $3.50 at the VS semi annual sale(talk about a bargain)=). I am very happy with this product. I have fine, wavy hair that tends to be on the drier side living in this Windy City, coloring in the past, etc. I use literally less than a pea size, tiny tiny drop of this, rub it on my hands and then apply it mid-shaft to ends of hair. Apply as evenly as possible. The 1st time I made the mistake of used about a pea size amount and my hair was a greaseball--that may happen the 1st time but I think if you give this product a chance you won't regret it. I used this only before I blow-dry/flat-iron. I would not use it for any other reason. My hair is softer to the touch, shinier, and looks less dry with this product. I took 1 lippy off only because it can get greasy if you but just the tiniest bit too much. Would definitely repurchase and have no problem paying full price as I see this lasts a long time. Would probably purchase travel size next time. Use your Ulta $3.50 off coupon!
Edit: bumped it down to three stars because it builds up on my hair and it's way too easy to use too much. It smells heavenly though.
Wonderful stuff. My hair is fine but thick and kind of dull. I use about half a pea-sized speck on my chin-length hair and it looks goood! Important: use sparingly!
I really wish this had worked for me like it did for so many others. I have a lot of hair, thick and over 2ft long. I used this product (approximately a quarter size in diameter, but not piled high) every day for about two months. I really didn't see any difference at all in terms of shininess, sleekness, etc. It didn't make my hair look any better or any worse. It did help me comb out the tangles in my hair prior to drying it, so that was nice... but there certainly are cheaper detangle-ing products on the market. Won't repurchase.
I absolutely love this product. I use about a nickel size on my wet hair (length is mid-back) every day! I make sure to only apply to the ends and not my scalp since to avoid making my hair look super flat.
I love the way my hair feels when I use it. It's shiny and looks healthy. But be careful, if you use too much your hair will end up looking and feeling slightly greasy.
I love that this comes in a tube form so it's hygienic and I have full control over how much I use.
Lastly, even though the tube is pricey (currently $20), it really lasts me for about 9 months since I only need a nickel size each time. I highly recommend this product!
What's weird is that the first time I smelled this product was in Sephora, and it had this strange, almost stinky scent that turned me off from buying it instantly. However, the 2nd time I smelled this at Bath and Body Works, it smelled really, really good so of course, I bought it instantly. This really makes your hair super glossy, so I would say it's worth it. Be careful not to apply too much or your hair will get too oily.
I think this product is really a hit or miss. For my fine, naturally straight, colored/highlighted hair it did tame the frizz but felt greasy. I don't blow dry or heat style my hair, perhaps it's better for those who do. The bottle also separated the cream/olive oil within a month. I will not be repurchasing.
I really like this product. I received a sample with an on-line order and immediately ordered the full-size tube. Long, fine but lots of, straight, color-treated hair that can become a very snarly tangled up mess -- this product detangled beautifully & kept the whole mess in order until the next washing. Keep it AWAY from your roots/scalp or it makes your hair look greasey / dirty. I didn't notice any type of odor. A little goes a long way :-)
i really like this. i only use it ocasionally, when i straighten or curl my hair for special outings. i have naturally really curly, dark coarse hair. when i straighten my hair, it doesnt look sleek. but this stuff helps. it makes my hair super shiny. usually shine products don't work on my hair but this stuff did. don't go overboard, it can make you look greasy. you only need a small dab. ive had the full size one for over two years and it looks brand new.
I have naturally curly hair that is colored and porous and I often straighten it. When I use a hot iron on it and the blow dryer I find I need something to help it not be so frizzy - especially in the back. This product does the trick. I apply just a dab to the end of a finger and then rub my hands together, then make sure some of it gets into whatever piece of hair I am working with. The glossing cream smooths the hair down and leaves it frizz-free and shiny. It is expensive but the tube is large and I have had mine quite some time. There are other products that work well for this but right now the Fekkai cream is my fave.
I love this. I use this every time I wash my hair whether I'm blowing it out or keeping it curly. It makes my hair silky and shiny without weighing it down.
This is a great product. I was afraid for a long time about trying this because I didn't want it to weigh my hair down, but it doesn't do that at all.
What I don't like about it is the price. It's a little steep, but the product does go a long way. Still, I'd like it better if it were a little less expensive.
