ok so i thought i loved nars copacabana, but this puts it to shame! this isnt glittery it just gives a nice sheen and is really creamy and easily blendable. i'd say if youre on the fence about it, i'd definitely buy it, you won't be disappointed
This product is very versatile. I've used it to highlight my brows, as an eyeshadow base, and I've even applied it to my cheeks before blush to increase the blush's staying power. It's very creamy and applies very evenly when applied with a brush.
I LOVE this cream colour base. I am the hugest fan of highlighters and this is the best I have come across! It is so smooth, lasts ALL day and looks really pretty on cheekbones.
This is one of my favorite highlighter! Nothing comes close to this. I had mines for several years and it is still going strong. My main purpose for this is highlighting the cheek bone area, tear ducts or using it as a shadow, not a base. I tried using it as a highlighter on my brow bone, but I didn't like the fact that it was a little shimmery; I prefer highlighting my brow bone with some that doesn't have shine or shimmer. Other than that, it makes your cheek bones pop with a glowy effect. I definitely recommend this for everyone!!!
Great for highlighting on my NC25 skin.
I used to use Luna but this blends out better on my NC25 skin. Lolz. Personal preference I guess.
I have used this as an eyeshadow base...don't use it as a base...stick with PP lolz.
Inner tear duct is fine and as a highlighter is awesome.
(Maybe because I have oily lids which is why I hated it using it as a base for my eyeshadows haha)
I would definately buy this again without hesitating.
I use this product as a highlighter on my inner tear duct to bring out my Asian eyes. The color is not straight white or silver, but an off-white color, which I love. It will give you a subtle boost in the eye area without it looking overdone. It is not glittery or too shimmery and blends well with other eyeshadows. The lasting power is pretty good, but remember that it IS a cream, so it will begin to crease or fade after around 5 hours (if you have oily skin, it will fade sooner).
*sigh* yet another product from MAC that I will be returning (so far my Coppering eyeshadow is the only product out of like 10 that I don't regret purchasing from MAC). I bought this in hopes that it would be the perfect solution for getting my mineral shadow to stick to my lids. I use Too Faced Shadow Insurance always so I wasen't concerned with this being a good primer, I just heard that it was a good sticky base. It helped a little bit, but was no miracle product and it creased (over TFSI) after about 7 hours. I find that my NYX Jumo Eyeshadow Pencils work MUCH better than this for getting my eyeshadow to stick, and then don't crease on me till 9+ hours. I figured I would try other uses for it, but I really didn't like it much for anything else.
I hate using this as a highlight because I hate how it stays wet. I have oily skin to begin with, and I did not like feeling my brow bone and few hours later and feeling like I had to blot there (though it was just the CCB that was still moist). Also applied it on my cheeks to try to make my powder blush last longer but I just didn't like how it felt. I have oily problematic skin to begin with that flushes easily so maybe for someone with better skin could pull this off but it was just a waste of money for me. I also attempted to use this on my lips like some reviewers mentioned, but I didn't like the look of that either (I have a light pink frosty lipgloss I tend to put in the center of my lips that looks way better then this stuff).
I use it as an highlighter on my cheeks and under my browbone,
it gives just the right amount of shimmer without beeng too glittery!
My HG highlighter!!! Gives you an angelic glow! I went to Macy's to try highbeam, which sucked, and then moved over to the MAC counter. This was exactly what I wanted! It's an off-white opalescent thin cream product. The perfect color and texture for my fair oily skin. I need to reapply a few hours later because I'm oily. When I first got I went crazy...browbone, cheekbone, tip of my nose (so it looks a bit more upturned) cupids bow, and it still didn't look like too much. Helps define your features without looking like makeup, it's so natural. You need this.
I love this CCB in Pearl! It makes shadows show up really vibrantly. I just apply this over Too Faced Shadow Insurance for my base. I rally apply the thinnest layer. All I do is tap my ring finger in the CCB, and tap the product over my lid. That's it. You only need the smallest amount. It works wonderfully without creasing. I tap this onto high points of my face for highlighting, and it looks so luminous and subtle. No glitter attack look. I highly recommend this for medium skin tones. I don't know why I waited so long to buy this? Im definitely going to pick up more in different colors!
