This is one of those fragrances that I come back to every few years, one that I like but don't care to have around at all times. I buy it, I use it up and forget about it for a while. It's pleasant and I like the fresh green tea scent. To me, it really does smell like green tea with a splash of citrus, and it's subtle enough for any occasion.
Other reviewers have panned this saying it's "not very complex" or "smells simple" - actually, that's what I love about this scent. It is subtle, smells clean, fresh and, yes - simple. While I really favor it during warmer months, it does translate year round and has fairly decent staying power.
If you are the kind of woman who likes a heavy, overly complex scent that lingers in the elevator you exited 10 minutes prior and makes people want to gag as they have to breathe in its noxious fumes for 30 floors, then this isn't the scent for you!
This is nowhere near being "up my alley", so to speak, but I like it. My perfumaholic friend lent me a sweater. It smelled of this. I said "why does your sweater smell like a great MANS cologne?" Well, it was this. And she gave it to me! It is clean. It isnt really sweet. Smells of herbs...It really smells like a great mens scent to me. I rarely ever wear it. Maybe it will do when my deep, spicy, sweet orientals wont do this summer....
I remember when this scent first came out. My mother and her sisters LOVED this perfume and they wore it almost all the time! I have to admit that I liked the scent at first, but I got tired of it very, very quickly.
Even now I find the scent to be rather simple, and I don't find it to be very complex. I'd say it's a sweet scent, but not overly sweet, but more like "clean" - which is what a majority of the population looks for when searching for a perfume.
This is one smell that's been done so many times, that Green Tea just isn't as original as it once was, and like Clinique's Happy, I smell it everywhere.
It's okay. However, it reminds me of that plastic yellow bottle of Jean Nate splash that I used to get as a kid at Woolworth's.
I really like this perfume. It's sweet and feminine without being TOO sweet, if you know what I mean. And it's pretty subtle, but lasts all day. I've had a couple of people comment on how nice it smells. This makes a nice day-time perfume, especially in warmer months (but would work year-round). Recommended.
This is a lovely fresh, crisp fragrance that is perfect for summer. I find the scent quite soothing and even meditative! It's a relaxed and simple kind of scent for the days when you need less fuss and clutter in your life :-)
I used to love this scent, but have gotten bored with it since it's really not a very complex scent, just a simple floral. Not very long lasting either. But I guess it's a good office scent because it;s light and nonoffensive.
I discovered this perfume because my roommate wore it and it smelled really good, at least on her it did. So, I decided to get my own but it didn't seem to go with me very well. I don't love the scent but I don't hate it either. I wear it occasionally when I want something light. I wouldn't buy it again because there are other perfumes I like more than this one.
I remember spraying this at The Bay a couple years ago and I feel in love with the scent! However, when I went back to look for it, it didn't seem to smell as nice as it did the first time. My mom ended up getting me a gift set with body lotion and the EDT, but I rarely reach for it and it's just sitting here collecting dust...
