Ok mascara, I like that it does not clump and it does look natural. I think there are drug store brands that would perform as well or even better for a lower price. Nothing about this mascara compels me to buy it again.
Makes me look like I have naturally great lashes - I never get clumps or smearing, it lengthens and defines, it's perfect for day wear, and every time I try another brand or type of mascara instead, I regret it and come back to this one.
I am surprised you guys like this. You must have long thick natural lashes. It did not lift thicken or do anything to my lashes. It does look glossy but what is the point of having glossy lashes when they look so limp?
This is a really good basic mascara. I got my first tube as a Christmas gift and I've loved it since then. I like a very natural look to my lashes and this gives me that look. It's not clumpy, it lengthens, and it's a good staple to have. At $14 it's averagely priced so I would purchase this again.
the first mascara i ever used was a gift i got from my aunt, and this is it. I've been using this for years and years, it's my most fave mascara ever. i don't need much of a mascara, because my lashes are long enough and dense enough. most mascaras are too much for me, but this one works perfect. I'd say if you already have lashes and just need something basic to enhance your eyes, use this.
I have tried tons and tons of mascaras. I have tried:
- Max factor 2000 calorie mascara
- MAC zoom lash mascara
- Maybelline Volume express mascara
- Dior show blackout mascara
- Estee lauder turbo lash vibrating mascara
- Avon astonishing lengths mascara
- Estee double wear zero smudge lengthening mascara
- Rimmel glam eyes mascara
- Clinique naturally glossy mascara
I havenít reviewed all of these yet, but i will eventually.
Anyway after spending around AUD $300 on mascara, i was going to give up on mascara in general. In fact, I stopped wearing mascara for a month (i only wore Dior show on nights out). I hated that i had spent that much money trying out different brands with horrible results. Most mascara were either clumpy, thick, not volumizing, spidery etc... I was browsing through makeup alley the other day and stumbled across an interesting review on the Clinique naturally glossy mascara. After reading over 500 reviews i decided this would be the last mascara i will buy for a long time. (i know, Iím a sucker!) I went to my local Clinique counter and bought a tube in jet black. GOD this is amazing! I have short, straight lashes and this mascara defined them very well! It slightly darkened them, separated them and i swear i even noticed that it lengthens them. I am very pleased with this mascara, and i will use it every day! I think my search for a decent mascara is officially over :D
If you have barely there lashes, this isn't for you.
If you have already beautiful lashes, give this a go! It's great for the work week, when you want to have on mascara, but aren't into looking like you are going out on a weekend night. Subtle, but there, and very natural looking. The women that do no like this most likely have skimpy lashes. Like I said, if yours are fairly decent w/o mascara, then this is a good staple to have for those natural look days.
This is a great mascara! The reason why I love it is because it goes on perfectly and it never EVER clumps. It fans out your lashes, gives you subtle length and makes them really stand out. Sure, there are products out there that will give you crazy length and volume but I honestly don't feel like hassling with goopy formulas all of the time. If you're looking for drama, this is not the mascara for you. If you just want a simple and mess-free mascara, I recommend you give it a try.
Who wants an average mascara? Doesn't lengthen or thicken...forget about adding gloss...natural...like almost having nothing on...it should be called invisible mascara.
I love this mascara for the perfect natural look! I have relatively long lashes, but they are very light. This mascara makes them naturally dark and full. Love this!!!
