I love the easy aplication of this eyeliner, it would be perfect, if it didn't smudge. I won't repurchase unless they come out with a waterproof version. Its a shame because I really did like it, until I had black smudges on my creases...
I really love this product! I find it easy to put on (a lot easier than other liquid eyeliners that i have brought, e.g. rimmel, bourgeois, benefit). I love the fact that I can easily create either a really thick or a really thin line, and it does not dry out quickly like a lot of other liquid eyeliner pens that I have used previously. The fact that it is waterproof is a bonus - I have yet to try it in swimming pool, but I have had it when I was out in the gym (sweat tends to rub any make up off me), and it stayed on! Definitely recommend this to people who are new to liquid eyeliners and are trying it out. This pen is really easy to use and is set at a good price.
I wanted to give this a try because my Rimmel Glam Eyes liquid liner wasn't cutting it for me. Considering how this Maybelline one was a pen I couldn't just throw it in my makeup bag because you have to store it up right so it doesn't dry out. The pigment was amazing, it was a true black. however less than 10 minutes later it smudged and casted a shadow of black under my eyebrow... I took this back and I WILL NOT be purchasing again...
It's great and easy to work with. The point on the felt tip is great for winged eyeliner. The liquid is also very black and opaque. Only problem I have with it is that it dries out way too fast! Either way, it's a pretty good liquid eyeliner. I would recommend it.
I wanted to love this eyeliner... I really did. The application was easy and the eyeliner is so dark and dries matte. I didn't have the same problem as others had with the tip drying out, infact its still going strong. I just had major problems with it smudging!
Did no one else really have a problem with the smudging? Maybe it was just me. Anyway, the first day i used it it was starting to smudge by the time i left my house and by the time my day was over it was just a disaster all around. I tried to set it with HD powder and it prevented smudging for a little while longer but also made it less black... and that's what I loved most about it!
Anyway, I will keep it around for my shorter work/school days because I know i can make it work but I wouldn't repurchase unless they fixed the smudging problem.
Love the fine tip point of the product which makes for easy and precise application, but that is really about all I like. The colour isn't a deep black and requires multiple applications to intensify the colour. In terms of wear I'm disappointed. If I wear a cat eye, the flick portion smudges within a few hours and if I wear a thicker line I end up with black smudges in the crease. Overall not repurchasing unless they come out with a waterproof version.
Im so sad. I went out to by a new eyeliner today because my annabelle pencil liner is almost done and i don't plan on buying another one because i want a precise line, it smudges into my crease, and i find i have to sharpen it a lot. I was going to buy wet n wild gel liner but when i went to walmart it was closed (Canada day long weekend) so i walked over to shoppers to see if maybe they sold it there. They don't (or at least in mine). So I decided to look for a liquid liner pen instead since makeup is pretty new to me but i just love eyeliner. I really like precision so I thought this would be perfect. Unfortunately, the tip of the pen doesn't work well. The ink is not opaque. It skips and drags. And if i want a nice black line I have to push pretty hard on the pen and then the line comes out really thick. :( i really wanted to like it. Especially because it's not the cheapest ($9-$10 CAN). I still have my eyes on the dollywink liquid eyeliner pen and the wet n wild gel liner. can't wait to pick those up one day :)
I really don't understand all the negative reviews on this, I've just repurchased for the third time. I LOVE this liner. It's incredibly black, creates a thin line, perfect for a winged look, smooth, perfect. For me personally it takes around 3 months of daily use for it to even begin to dry up, and even then it's only the tip that gets dry. The packaging says it's best to store it horizontally so maybe people just aren't taking care of their's properly?
My only complaints are that it's not at all waterproof and the price. $10 for eyeliner is absolutely ridiculous to me, but I continue to pay it because of the nice, thin line it creates.
This is one of my favorite eyeliner ever! It stays on, it is easy to use and I love the soft pointy tip of it.It really is precise. I would buy it again and recommand it!
Bought this on a whim as soon as it came out in stores and i am so glad i did! This has to be by far the best liquid liner i've used. It's much better than Maybellines old Line stilleto liquid liner (which had a flexible yet thick tip).
The tip is thin and flexible yet it's sturdy enough to maintain it's structure. I haven't had a problem with the 'ink' running out. It forms perfectly thin/thick lines. The colour is a bold black. It is difficult to take off as it is waterproof- nothing a good eye makeup remover can't fix!
The price in Aus is around $13. Pretty reasonable. I've had mine for atleast 4 months. And it's still working fine.
Will definitely buy again. So far i'm loving it!
