I generally don't like blusher, I have acne scaring on my cheeks and I worry that the blusher just brings out the redness in my skin, but I saw this and just fell in love with the colour. I absolutely love it, definitely my HG, it gives a lovely warm tone, I use it across my cheek bones instead of on the apples of my cheeks and it contours my face really well, the brush is so good for applying it in this way. I've had it for over 2 months and I still have loads left, I can't see it running out any time soon. It's so smooth, not cakey or flakey at all, and it doesn't wear off or go patchy. And, of course, the packaging is typical for Benefit - absolutely adorable.
This was my first blush! It is a beautiful pink blush, very shimmery (I use it when I am going out at night, not very suitable for work). Stays on forever, comes with a brush which is pretty cool. I use this brush to apply, and then a blending brush (BB) to blend it in better. I like the packaging, it is very attractive and easy to carry in a handbag. Unfortunately, it costs AUD52, which is pretty expensive for a not-high-end blush. But still, I haven't regretted the purchase. I have had it for aaaaages and I've barely made a dent in it, so I get the impression I won't have to buy again for a very long time.
Basically, if you want a pink blush that gives you a wonderful glow, get this.
*EDIT* I ended up getting rid of this, because it is actually not that great in comparison to a lot of other blushes in my collection. It was nice as a starter-blush, but I've since moved on to better things
Searching for the perfect blush has been very, very time consuming. Now that I found it I don't know what I'll do with all my free time. This is the perfect peachy-pink blush for me. To me it is Orgasm dialed down a notch and Deep Throat amped up a smidge and just a tad bit pinker. I love that it leaves a healthy sheen on my cheeks rather than a glittery glow. I don't know what I'd do if it were ever discontinued, really, I love it that much. I'm a fan of Benefit's boxed powders in general. I just wish they were packaged differently. It does bother me to shell out $28 for a product that looks banged up after a week of use.
I love everything about this blush except for the brush that it comes with. (It looks cute but I wouldn't recommend using it) I got this 3 months ago. I was just walking around Nordstrom when I saw this cute boxed blush- which I wasn't supposed to buy--but I did. The lady explained like it was 3D or something like that which pushed me even more to get it. I'm not regretting I got this at all! The shade is just perfect on my skin. I would like a matte blush but this is just WOW.
This is GORGEOUS. I do enjoy the high pigmentation. It means less fuss and more product. It is though easy to overapply. Unlike tints, just dab off with a tissue, i say! I think it may be more pigmented that Coralista? But it is truly an exceptional effort by Benefit. An amazing colour, with a divine watermelon-ish scent and the best packaging yet! NOT A FAN OF THE FLIP-TOP LID AND THE SMALLER/REDUCED POWDER AMOUNT (compared to other benefit powders).
STOP TRYING TO RIP US OFF BENEFIT, ITS DISGUSTING!
But all in all, a fab little product and my HG Blush. Very well marketed too. As far as im concerned, many go ga-ga over NARS blushers, but lets see them match this baby!
Will most certainly repurchase and recommend to everyone who loves a little liveliness on their cheeks (the great this is that you can play this blush both up and down). Works a treat with the slant powder blush brush from Benefit!
I got this for free from my sister in law. She had won a gift basket from Macy's Benefit counter and she had no use for it so it became mine! :P I don't really like or dislike this blush. When I first applied, I ended up WAY too sparkly and pink. I like the smell of the blush, but that's about it.
I absolutely ADORE this product! Many shades of blush donít work well on my medium, somewhat tan skin. Pink shades often look clownish and deeper maroon shades look too dark and sallow. The Bella Bamba is the perfect blend of coral and gold Ė it makes my whole face look vibrant and alive.
I purchased it at a yard sale Ė they were selling the unopened container for only $5 Ė score! When Iíd seen this product at Ulta, they didnít have a tester & I was hesitant to purchase thinking it was too sparkly and pink. My skin has some acne scarring, which sparkly blush always accentuates Ė but somehow the Bella Bamba actually helps conceal it!
What I love most? The gorgeous glow it gives to my face. Never have I found a blush that makes me look as alive and awake. Even on mornings when Iím exhausted and zombie-ish, the Bella Bamba gives my face an instant lift. I also sweep some of it across the crease of my eyes, and it brightens up my face even more.
The only reasons it didnít get a full 5 star rating from me? First, the color fades too quickly. I have a feeling this is due to my insanely oily skin, as almost all non-waterproof cosmetics fade within 4 hours of application on my skin. Even when I use makeup setting spray, the Bella Bamba still fades too quickly. Second, the packaging is boxy and difficult to carry along for touch-ups. I sooo wish they would develop this same product in either a travel size or a flat portable compact, because itís something I would love to take with me everywhere!
This does NOT cost $40 (USD anyway) as one reviewer claimed below, and it really isn't hard to open. I think companies factor in average intelligence, not stupidity, when designing for ease of use. The brush is an improvement over the older version. I like the watermelon scent.
It is more sparkly than anything else, at least on my olive skin. It's a bit tricky for me to get a real deep pink color to show up, since I get distracted by the shimmer.
I was drawn to it because the color seemed so vibrant, along the lines of Coralista.
Love it! Though i would def say if you want a subtle look use a seperate blusher brush as the one included is like a trowel it also catches on the blusher so ive chucked mine. But this colour really wakes up my skin tone. The coral pink makes my cheekbones look awesome.
While I love Coralista, I like Bella bamba...it is actually surprisingly pigmented and very shimmery (which I have no problem with) but I dislike the smell. It is a strangely fake fruity smell, which is kinda sad because I really like the way Dallas and Coralista smell. But, it's not a breaking factor since you only smell it as you're applying it and then it's gone.
I dont like the new packaging and am sad that Benefit is changing them all but I am also not the type to carry around blush. I just apply it in the morning and go.
With Benefit blushes, I find that they actually last me all day anyway which is unusual, most blushes fade and disappear within 4 hours on my oily skin and Ive tried all kinds, powders, gels, and creams.
I do think that Bella bamba gets darker on me as the day wears on, whereas I have not found this to be true for Dallas and Coralista.
