This product is magical. It does amazing things to reduce the redness from my cheeks and is a great primer. I didn't think I could find both things in one product! I was worried that I would run out of it too quickly because it seemed like I needed a lot at first but that is not the case anymore. I think I was used to needing more from less quality products so I went for extra coverage the first couple times I used it. Really one to one and a half pumps is all you need.
It goes on smoothly and evenly and does not highlight my dry or blemished areas (another problem I was having with primers) and leaves your face soft and smooth. I think it takes any make up routine up a notch, whether you are having a full coverage foundation day or just want to swipe on a little powder for light make up days. Either way, this product delivers an awesome canvas to build on.
I love this primer! I first bought the MUFE HD primer in Neutral, (which I love), then heard raved reviews for this green one on the makeup board. The consistency of MUFE's primers is not like the common silicone that are in most face primers. This primer feels like I'm putting lotion on my face, because it is very smooth and liquid-like. I suggest applying the primer and waiting a few minutes for it to dry (this is what you are suppose to do with any primer). Once the primer dries, it covers most of the redness on my face. I apply this very liberally on my cheeks and the redness is gone! I only need to use about 1 to 1.5 pumps. It makes my foundation very long lasting and sweat-proof. I also love the sleek packaging.
I was skeptical to buy this product, because I have been so disappointed with countless past green/red reducer products out there. From Physicians Formula to Shiseido, I have tried many from high end to drugstore brand products. Nothing really seemed that exciting or good to me. I ran out of my MAC primer and decided on a whim to try this one. I am so glad I did. It works wonderfully as a primer; it keeps my foundation in tact for the day adn provides a smooth, clean slate for me to apply my foundation on. I love it! It really does counteract some of the redness on my face too, which is a plus. I had told myself that I do need a new primer, so even if it doesn't reduce redness, hopefully it will be at least a good primer. And it is.. for both criterion! I am pleasantly suprised with this product and I am glad that I bought it!
This is my HG primer. The green corrects the redness on my cheeks and leaves a satiny finish. It's a great primer for my foundation. No breakouts thus far and I'm prone to breakouts these days. I'm not a fan of Make Up Forever's HD line (tried the foundation and powder) but I LOVE this primer so much!
Non-oily. The green colour definitely helps to hide redness, but not completely. Good packaging. Loves it. Only weird thing is that it stains my fingers when I use it..strange! Definite re-buy
I have a lot of blemishes and acne scars and this definitely makes it less red and apparent underneath my foundation. This primer doesn't make my face oily like the Smashbox one.
One pump is all I need for my entire face and no allergic reactions or break outs ever since.
Initially when I applied this to the back of my hand then onto the brush, I felt a bit of stinging on my hand only. Ever since, I have not had this type of reaction. WEIRD!
I am NW15 with lots of redness on my face due to the use of Retin-A micro, I also have very dry skin. This primer is quite simply amazing. It is not a gel or cream - It is liquidy, the same texture as the HD foundation. One pump is more than enough to cover the entire face. It doesn't leave a green cast on the face and it rubs in very easily. I took off 1 lippie because it didn't completely eliminate redness, but def. took away most of it.
The packaging is really nice - Tall and slender, sleek bottle.
My first day wearing this, my SO saw me and said "Wow, you're face isn't red at all today".
Would definitely buy again!
everything the last reviewer said and more.. the green seems to instantly mute the redness in my face. it's wonderful. only problem i'm having now is the dispenser has gone missing and there's just a spring sticking up from the bottle...someone must have stolen it...
This is a very promising entry into the myriad of primers out there on the market. I am very careful with primers because I have sensitive, acne prone skin that tends to be extremely oily and most primers do nothing but feed the fire. I have tried so many primers that I could probably open up a store with what I have. I was getting exhausted to be honest. Primer after primer and every one of them either broke me out horribly or turned my face into an oil slick within a few hours. I have a lot of red in my skin that I am forever trying to abate, so I bought this new primer in green (meant to help diffuse the red in your skin).
I must say this is one of the coolest looking primers around (very sleek pump that is packaged quite well with a nice sleek design). This product comes out immediately without having to really sit and prime the pump. It looks like a very creamy, fresh, lightweight moisturizing type gel. It's got a nice deep green color and goes on like pure silk. I liked it right away because it seems to sink into your skin immediately and there's no slip or grease left on your face which was a very good sign for me (most primers feel heavy and greasy to me). I also liked how polished my skin looked although I must admit that it only seemed to cut the red in half (it doesn't take all the red out, although it does soften things a bit and makes your skin less red). I kept touching my face because it felt so clean and that doesn't usually happen with primers ever. My new matching MUFE HD foundation in #110 (perfect for my super pale skin), went on like a dream over this (the most natural looking full coverage foundation ever)! It really helped to keep my foundation fresh and oil free. The best part is when I went to remove my make up and primer with good old fashioned soap and water and it came right off without any signs of irritation or break outs. I think I have a winner here! Very impressed! I took off one lippie because I felt it could have taken out a bit more red, but otherwise this is a wonderful primer!
