I LOVE the aspirin mask!! It makes my face look lovely just after I wash it off, and it's an excellent cheap scrub. My aspirin mask consists of:
2 tablets of uncoated aspirin
several squirts of organic honey
And when I have acne: several drops of tea tree oil
And when I feel dry: several drops of jojoba oil.
I leave the mask on for about 30 minutes and then exfoliate as I wash it off. It gets off all my dead skin and gives me this awesome glowy, even skin tone (which doesn't last forever, but it just looks nice right afterwards.) I like to think it helps my skin and soothes it as well.

Ugh. Looking at all the great reviews here I was hoping this mask would clear my acne, but it made my break out even MORE. Ruined my skin.
I have no idea what the magic is in this mask but I LOVE it. My face glows when I do the aspirin mask. I have been doing it 2 times a week at night. I use 6 to 7 aspirin and a few drops of water and rub it on my face after it dissolves into a paste.
I let it set for a few minutes till it dries and then I add a little water and rub in a circular motion for about a minute. Rinse with warm water and Viola, my skin has never been smoother after this mask. I follow with Retin A at night and Camellia oil in the morning and really have been in love with the results.
No more spending $100's of dollars on miracle creams for me. I know now the simplest things bring the best results:) Thanks MUA!!:)

Dirt cheap and more effective than any other spot treatment I've used. The active component is salicyclic acid, which is present in many pre-made spot creams/washes.
You can make an aspirin paste using a few tablets, or a spray using a few dispersible tablets. I use the dispersible tablets in a spray-bottle with water (be careful that the tablets are completely dissolved or they'll clog the spray nozzle).
I have found the spray option more practical and mess-free than making a mask out of aspirin paste, and this way I can leave the treatment on overnight or during the day.
It is very effective and gives obvious results very, very quickly. It is also not as drying as other pre-made potions I've used, and I do not experience any irritation while using this treatment. I have very sensitive skin.
Use your common sense when it comes to the number of tablets you use - you absorb the aspirin so you could overdose or make yourself feel nauseous by using too many.

So I decided to try the infamous aspirin mask. I learned about this right here on MUA. All I can say is that this truly amazing and yet so simple. I spent crazy $$ these past years for toning, scrub, and acne cures. And I would of never have known that the answer was sitting right there in my medicine cabinet LOL I mixed 5aspirins with few drops witch hazel (My hG toner) and a tsp of honey. My skin was literally glowing and the huge pimple i had dramatically went down. I totally recommend this product.
Update: 12/3/08: Just want to say again how great this mask is. lol. I still do get my break outs here and there, but as soon as i put this on, my skin calms down instantly. god bless who ever thought about this mask!

I do this every Sunday...and it has really made my skin look nice. I leave it on for about half an hour (i put it on for one tv show). It's not a miracle worker for me....i mean it hasn't changed the state of the nation. But its a good exfoliator and leaves me skin soft and vibrant. For the cost...I am a fan!
The aspirin mask always drys out my acne when I use it. I usually wash my face first before putting it on to open up my pores. I put around 8 pills with a sprinkle of water and some honey and then smooth it on my skin. I like to put alot on because I feel that it covers my entire face with a thick consistency. I notice that my pimples start to dry out if i leave it on longer. I sometimes leave it on while I am working on something and before I know it the time passes by really fast, which could last from half an hour to an hour. After I was it off, i notice that my skin starts to peel near the pimple area or the pimple seems more ready to pop (sorry for the disgusting graphics here) than ever before. The next day, it's usually so much better. I have been using it for a month now and I have very clear skin.

After reading all these amazing reviews I decided to try it myself. I mashed up 2 coated aspirin since I'm only 16 and I thought more than that would make me dizzy. I mixed it with a dropped of water and then added 2 teaspoons of honey after it dissolved. It went on a bit runny but manageable. It didn't flake off after leaving it on my face for 15 mins. It didn't really make a difference, in fact I think it made my blemishes stand out even more. I'm not sure if you're supposed to see decreased redness and size of pimples right after or the next day, but so far it's not working for me. I have relatively oily skin but this has dried me out. However after applying some moisturizer its all good.
I will try again later this week because I'm determined to see results!!
UPDATE: I've just increased the rating to 4 stars. I'm not sure if it is because of the aspirin mask or because of another product I am using, but my acne scars have suddenly become less red and noticable! I've only used the 3 times over the past 3 weeks and I already see good results. So try it out people, you have nothing to lose!

I really really wanted this mask to work for me after reading so many great reviews. I tried consistently but it only made my acne worse. Glad to hear it works for so many other people tho.
After reading this extensive review, I was super keen to try this method,
I use/have used a multitude of products to alleviate hormonal pimples and dry cheeks and still find their results lack lustre.
Tonight I have mashed up 5 asprin, a dollop of honey and some spring water to make a paste and left it on for about 20 mins. The immediate effect is that it makes my skin glow_ has made a few pimples stand out a bit, but am willing to put up with this in the hope for clearer skin.
Will update in a few days_
ps im not a big fan of eating honey, if only it was golden syrup... lol!!
