This is my HG eye makeup remover. No, scrubbing, just effortless eye makeup remover. It may be pricy, but you need so very little. I'll never stray.
I used to avoid this remover because I tried it once and felt it left an oily residue - but that was a time when I wasn't wearing eye makeup daily, nor did I wear anything very heavy. Since I now work a job where I need to wear eye makeup every day, the usual removers I had weren't taking the makeup off thoroughly nor quickly enough, plus night after night they were leaving my eyes dried out and itchy. I had a bottle of this from a recent GWP and one night I thought, "why not?" I'm so glad I did - it whisked away the makeup, and one gentle swipe of my other regular remover took away any slight oily residue. But the real bonus was that my eyes never felt itchy or red - they just felt refreshed and normal. I won't even mind wearing heavier eye makeup now because I know it can be removed without hassle. And I do have sensitive eyes and contacts (I do remove the contacts before using any eye makeup remover, though.) Try it, you might like it!
PS: it is NOT like the L'Oreal Plentitude at all, I have tried that and while it's okay, it's like any other standard remover and it will dry your eyes out night after night.
After using this on and off for the last few years, I decided to purchase the full size. It is expensive, but it's worth it. I love the texture, the scent, and the effectiveness of this product. It does leave a film behind, but as you use this before a cleanser it's not a problem. I think it actually helps keep my eye area better hydrated. I will definitely be repurchasing this item again.
I got this as a GWP. It is very effective at removing eye make up. When others fail, Bi-Facil does the job - even with the most stubborn of mascaras. It does leave an oily residue, but washes away when you wash your face. It's very expensive, so I don't know if I would buy it, but I'd be glad to receive it as another GWP or as a gift.
This is a dual liquid product (water-based cleanser and an oil) in the same bottle. You have to shake it up before use to mix the 2 liquids, then apply on cotton ball/pad and swipe over the eyes. As a makeup remover, it's very good. Removes mascara/eyeshadow/eyeliner pretty easily, no rubbing required. Leaves only a minimal oily residue that easily washes off when you wash your face. Doesn't bother my eyes at all. However, it's just too expensive and its performance (while good) doesn't make up for its price, especially when other cheaper products accomplish the same thing. It's great when it's a GWP and you'll think "Wow, I love this stuff" but when you have to plunk down cold hard cash (I mean, really, $21 for eye makeup remover???), you realize that there are other alternatives and it's best to spend that money elsewhere.
Out of all the bi-facil eye makeup removers, Lancome probably has the best version. It's not too greasy, and takes off even waterproof mascara perfectly. I still don't like the feeling of anything oily on/in my eyes, but this is the best of the bunch.
Wow...I love this stuff! I currently have a GWP size. I like it because it takes off makeup without bothering my eyes. No oily residue either. Most of the cream ones I've tried had bothered my eyes after I took of my makeup. I will purchase this for sure when my GWP runs out!!!!!!
Good eye makeup remover. I had used other ones before that were too greasy, a huge turn-off. The reason I took off a lipstick was because it's kind of pricy. L'Oreal make a good non-greasy one too but it doesn't work as well. This stuff takes off eye makeup without needing to rub (yay). If I won the lotto, this would be my staple eye makeup remover.
One of the best eye makeup removers on the market. Makes removing even waterproof eyemakeup so easy, without tugging or scrubbing. It does leave a little bit of a residue, but less so than other oil-based removers.
Bi-Facil is one of my favorite eye makeup removers. It gets all of my eye makeup off and I don't have to rub or tug too hard for it to work. It doesn't leave my eye area oily either.
