I have the 2oz of this. I am going to compare it to J&J no more tangles spray(in the green bottle) because that is what i normally use.

First off, the smell of this is horrible. I absolutely hate the smell of this. The good thing is that when used on wet hair, the smell does fade a bit compared to using on dry hair in which the smell just lingers and gives me a headache.
This stuff is no better than the J&J I use. I think this stuff leaves my hair a little bit on the greasy side. I only like to wash my hair every other day and when i use its a 10, the next day it is way oilier& greasier than when i use nothing or the J&J.

It is not a bad product, it does what it says it will, but it is nothing spectacular. If you have normal long straight healthy hair like me than you can try the J&J green bottle detangler for a fraction of the price. continued >>

I got this at my salon for $20.00. For such a small bottle, I think it's a little pricey, but SO WORTH IT!!! I washed then towel dried my hair, sprayed a little in my hair, then brushed through. The smell is absolutely fantastic. After I blowdried, my hair was so soft and it felt healthier. I will definitely keep buying this. Another thing I love is that it is a heat protectant, also.
I just bought this product yesterday and tried it for the first time. I was a bit scared considering the price I paid for it (at my local CVS it was $30!!). But, I had already heard several people rave about it so I really wanted to give it a try, plus the label claimed to do everything that all the other 5+ products I used did.
I washed my hair and towel-dried. I sprayed it all over while still wet and let it air dry about 60%. Personally, I loooooove the smell. It's very clean and fresh. Once my hair was 60% dry, I sectioned it off and sprayed a bit more on each section to blow dry and let me just tell you, once finished my hair looks AMAZING. It's super shiny, soft, manageable, bouncy...ALIVE! My hair had been looking quite drab in the last 3-4 months. I have really long hair (up to my waist) with tons of layers and I tend to have really oily hair and my hair does NOT look oily at all. Most products usually weigh my hair down but this was did the complete opposite. Maybe the people that had this problem used a bit too much of the product?...Not sure, either way, this is not a problem I encountered. I didnt give it an overall 5 rating because I've only used it once. Hopefully it wont disappoint down the line and it lives up to its claims and my expectations. For right now, I cannot rave enough about it and I HIGHLY recommend it.

This is the 1 product from this brand I continuously buy. I use this everyday. It smells great and does not feel heavy or waxy.
DO NOT USE THIS IF YOUR HAIR IS ALREADY DAMAGED. Unless your hair is healthy to start with, I don't think anyone should be using this!!! I'm reviewing the one without the Keratin.
Let me give you a background of my hair. For just over two years I routinely heat styled with a hair waving iron and it would look lovely, but I knew it was drying out my hair. Even if I tried to use Got2B curling iron spray or the Tresemme heat protector, I would still use a bit of hair mousse to get some shine and definition of my waves. About halfway through my waving years, I decided to go platinum blonde and loved it and continued to be platinum blonde and wave my hair. Then it got pretty bad when it would ONLY look good if I sizzled it with a waver. I knew the ends were bad so I got a few inches cut off but they still kept it in layers. After this it looked a bit better and I chose to finally stop waving my hair as I wanted it to get better. I would let it partially air dry, apply Moraccan Oil (stuff is awesome in making hair look healthier and better!) and then smooth it with a round brush with a blow dryer and would put in some Big Sexy Hair root volume mousse in it. It was still dry and didn't look so great, but you know what? It was manageable and it was ok! I was still touching up my naturally dark ashy blonde roots and staying platinum, BUT IT WAS OK.
Then one day in a Beauty Supply Outlet store I saw the It's a 10 leave in treatment and I had heard so many glowing reviews on it from people on YT (It protects, it smooths and nourishes ,yadda, yadda) so I decided to just buy the small bottle and try it. In fact the lady there was raving about it and mentioned the Morrocan Oil I was using was only frying my hair and not protecting it in any way. Hmm, ok fine. She recommended I still put in the Morrocan Oil and then apply It's a 10, afterwards before blow-drying. The first time I just used a little and found that my round brush had a harder time going through my hair to smooth it out (like others have said, it leaves you hair sticky). My hair also needed washing earlier than normal and was greasy... and I thought maybe I used too much Moroccan Oil. Hmmm..whatever. I used it a couple more times and my hair has not been looking as great. The last time I used it, I put in quite a bit and my hair literally looked like crap and sooo damaged!!! Like it looked like it had been ripping out when I brushed my hair (due to dryness - it now felt so dry even though I used the same heavy duty conditioners I had been rotating before this product) and when I looked at my hair brush there seemed to be A LOT more hair in there. I read reviews here and also saw another person with damaged hair saying the same thing, it leaves a buildup, leaves hair dry and makes it look more frizzy (i.e. damaged) Today I washed my hair with a deep cleansing shampoo in hope to remove any leftover residue and used a deep conditioner and only the Moroccan Oil and with my round brush and low temp on my hair dryer. My hair looks like crap and very damaged. I'm so upset because now it looks like I'm going to have to get it chopped off super short as the front section that frame my face look like they have scraggly ends and look VERY damaged. I will give it a couple more washes to see if anything can be done...but thinking it is already too late. I'm only glad that as I had short hair many years ago, I know I look good with it. Hope my review helps anyone.

I have had a couple people tell me this product works wonders on their hair, but the only thing it did for mine is make it extremely greasy. If I use a small enough amount to where it doesn't make my hair greasy, I don't notice any difference except my hair seems a bit more weighed down. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this product.

Ok so the more and more I use this product I'm realizing (just as the bottle states) that I don't really need any other products. Here's an example: I used to use a detangler, leave in and heat protectant befor blowdrying and flat ironing my hair. But in time each one fell by the wayside as I discovered how soft and swingy and silky my hair was after use. It's cut my drying time in half - seriously. I still use a little dab of heat protectant before I flat iron, for extra precaution but it's probably weighing my hair down even more. It's amazing when a product actually lives up to the boasts they put on the bottle - in this case they're so true. No my hair is super kinky and thick so you may want to consider that before you buy. If you have thin hair this may or may not be the product for you. Me, I love this stuff!

I really wanted to try this product and I finally got to.. lately i've been wondering why my hair has been feeling all weird and dry and just super-tangly.. turns out this was doing it.. after washing my hair and NOT using it and just using my other HG products my hair was soft and back to its normal self. Meh.. I really wanted to like it but oh well.. back it goes! Also the smell is not pleasant.. even my BF was asking me why my hair smelled all different and not in a good way..

This product is without a doubt everything that the bottle promises and more. I live for this stuff, it is my most used hair care product. I began using this about a year ago when I thought that my hair was at a point of no return from all of the bleaching and dying. This product is truly a miracle. I load it on my towel dried hair when i get out of the shower, making sure that there is more than enough coating my entire head. The beauty of it is that it has never made my hair look greasy once dried. Without this product i would not be able to brush my over-processed and damaged hair when i get out of the shower. I freak out when I run out and make a special trip just to get it. If I had the money i would totally stock up on this product because it is not one that i am going to be giving up anytime soon. HIGHLY recommended!!!

HG and I've been an avid bleacher of hair thus user of leave-in conditioners since the 1990s. I used to consider myself a connoisseur of leave-ins, often rotating several at a time. I judge most harshly in the following categories: ability to detangle, propensity for residue, and scent. And of general question of "Does my hair seem better after regular use of this product?" It's a 10 hits the mark on all. My hair is a dream to detangle, it does not leave a dulling residue, it smells fantastic, and the keratin formula nursed my hair back to health after going platinum blonde. If I were to judge on price, I'd probably have to cut a lippie or two because this stuff is pretty expensive at around $16-20 a bottle. If I had to pay full price, it's possible I wouldn't buy it so consistently (I'm cheap like that). But I don't so I use this religiously. All other leave-ins have been banished from my routine because after finding this product, my thought process is, "Why bother?"
