As a sun worshipper I am now trying to reverse the effects of years of damage. This works! I have noticed a reversal of aging spots, freckles, etc. It was a little thick and didn"t absorb easy, but I now mix it with a couple sprays of Burts Bees complextion spray(different varietys) and rub in my hands and it creates a colorless, virtually weightless moisturizer that absorbs quikly. Actually, I do like the smell of this product, but it feels slimy like some of the other lotions in this line. It doesn't absorb into the skin very easily and rubs off on clothing or sheets too much. Sigh.

I bought this after a bad sunburn to help soothe my face. It smells horrible to me, like stewed carrots. It was moisturizing and helped soothe my face but I couldn't get past the smell.

This product must be for those with super dry skin like me - this is fabulous for my face - as one reviewer mentioned, my skin looks gorgeous and dewy! Not wild about the scent, but I don't hate it either.

Ok ... how weird is this? I have oily skin. This stuff smells AWFUL. I mean it smells phenomenally bad. But ... I actually can wear this under my makeup and it's amazing! It makes my makeup look really dewy and fresh and it somehow makes my makeup stay put all day long and absolutely no grease spill look ever. I bought this in a totally freak situation (forgot to pack my usual Burt's Bees Marshmallow cream for a week-long trip to Vegas and managed to find the Carrot creme in the hotel drug store). Anyway, it was a completely pleasant surprise and I'll keep right on using it. (Just wish it smelled better.)

I'm one of the few who love this stuff, but I truly swear by it. I've used this product for years & will continue to do so. Being 35, I'm concerned about wrinkles and aging. I could pass for 25, honestly. I'm a redhead (as is the other lover of this product, go figure, the carrot thing) and I've haven't experienced the orange thing. Since I've started using, I no longer use any type of foundation & I rarely, if ever, experience breakouts. I live in a VERY dry climate & need the extra moisturizing. continued >>

I'm not giving this a high rating as a facial moisturizer. I have oily skin and I can't even imagine putting such a thing on my face. I haven't tried it as a facial moisturizer and after reading the reviews, I doubt I ever will. I originally got a sample in a starter kit and I tried it on my hands. This takes a while to settle in, but after about 15 minutes it's perfect. I really can't stand putting lotion on my hands because they ALWAYS feel greasy. This creme just makes my hands feel soft and moisturized. I actually usually moisturize my hands, leave it for a bit, and then wash them - this is the only "lotion" I can stand to leave on. As for the scent, it doesn't smell much like carrot, but it's a strangely addictive natural scent. Overall, I'll rate this very highly as a hand creme and suggest that everyone who was disappointed try it on your hands, elbows, knees, feet, and other typically dry areas.

I used this cream this morning when I was in a hurry to leave for work. It was difficult to apply evenly. When I got to work, I walked into the bathroom and noticed that my skin was orange. I was not pleased.

Nasty. Makes your skin orange. Makes you feel sticky, does not absorb. Need I say more?

I used this at night instead of the day, and when I woke up, my face was still greasy looking. This stuff is way too greasy, especially if you're going to wear it during the day. It was also hard to get out of the container, it kind of came of the pot in chunks. Good thing it was just a sample instead of buying a full size product.
