I love these, they're so moisturizing! I actually have 4 diffrent ones and i think it really depends what color you get, most have really good color payoff, i have watermelon (which i love, probably my fave) peoney and caramel (which are almost the same color, caramel is just a little more bronze) and champagne (which i actually hate) I think the darker colors are a bit better, the only reason i hate champagne is because its a super frosty light pink and just looks like i have white glitter all over my lips. So i dont really use that one. But the others i love. Theyre minty and almost have a slight plumping affect to them, they last a pretty long time without fading too. Highly recommend!
i got 3 of these lip shimmers and they suck. i thought they were going to be alot better because almost everyone on youtube loves them. i will never buy these again so not worth the money. i cant even describe what they do because they didnt do anything for me besides put shimmer on my lips and a hint of color.
I LOVE these lip shimmers - they do the job better than some lipsticks. They are moisturizing, the color stays on for most of the day, and I adore the tingly minty feel on my lips! I have a warm skintone and I own papaya, nutmeg, and peony at the moment. Peony is my favorite for an everyday look (for the spring and summer), but papaya and nutmeg are stronger colors - more to be worn for nights out. I just took off one lippie because I am not crazy about the shimmer in these products. They're not overwhelming (with the exception of champagne) but not great either. Either way, I hope that BB's makes more colors - maybe something matte and neutral? For now I'll continue to buy and buy these - I still have a lot of other colors I want to check out!

I have this lip gloss in "rhubarb" and I like it. It's not very moisturizing, but it also doesn't dry out my lips. I didn't notice a problem with the glitter-- mine is just sheer and glossy, not sparkly. I like the pretty crimson-y shade. I just have to be careful not to apply too much! I'm not a big fan of the price (it isn't amazing enough to be worth $5.00)... so I deducted one lippy and will only repurchase again if it is on sale.
I had been wanting to try this product for years but was always afraid to because of the high price ($5.00 is a LOT for a skinny tube of lip balm). I finally picked up a tube in the Fig shade. I normally wear long wearing lipstick but I was hoping to find a nice balm that would add color and moisturize my lips. After reading reviews here, on the Burt's Bees site, and talking with people who insist that this product is all they use, I figured either way I'd win... if I didn't like the shade, at least I'd have a good lip balm, right?? So I tried my new purchase when I got home and have to say within minutes I had to wipe it all off. Not only was the color way off (it was such an ugly ugly bright red ... cap color indicates a nice medium brown/reddish color) but the formula was way too tingly. It was too much... another reviewer described it best when she compared it to that "Vick's vapor rub" feeling... that's exactly what I think too. So now I'm stuck with a $5.00 lip balm that even my kids don't want... I'm never going to use again... guess I'll just have to cut my losses and toss it in the trash.
My favorite and the only thing I wear now, on my lips because:
♥ Give lips a mildly glossy lustre and shiny shimmer.
The shimmer-effect is identical to what I get from
Dior Addict High Shine lipstick. Very natural.
♥ Adds subtle color with a couple swipes.
But u can add more layers to get more color pay-off.
GUAVA: My #1 fave! A cool, frosty baby pink.
WATERMELON: A juicy mauve-pink.
CHAMPAGNE: Slightly lightens lips with lots of shimmer.
♥ Moisturizes my lips, so they always look healthy and not chapped.
♥ Has a peppermint cool, tingly effect... Which my husband LOVES when he kisses me.
♥ Affordable ($6) compared to my old favorite...Dior. And is found at most drugstores, (if not sold out.) Hot item!
BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY TO ME...
♥ It is 100% natural. So I can apply it all day long, guilt-free that I'm not consuming all these chemicals or leads that are in most all glosses. And I can kiss my baby :)
I went to www.cosmeticsdatabase.com, and saw it had a really low rating for being bad for you, unlike the other drugstore brands :D

I own three of these, and I love them all. They are very moisturizing and healing, and they give my lips a nice soft color. I don't think they're too shimmery, but they can be over the top if you apply too much. I won't pay full price for these, though, which is five dollars. I don't think any lip balm or gloss is worth that much money. When I find them on clearance I buy tons of them at a time, and I pay about two dollars a tube. I will continue to buy on them as long as I find them on sale.
I love Burt's Bees in general- but this is probably my least favorite product of theirs I have tired. It is WAY TOO GLITTERY. I only have two colors/shades of this (a dark wine-y color and a "sheer" color which really just looks/feels like slathering sticky gllitter all over my lips). I have tried using this product with other lipsticks/blotting it to make it less obvious looking, but ultimately it looks best when.. completely removed. Would not recommend this.
I bought this lip shimmer for $5.99 in canada,my shade is in guava.
If you would like to go out and buy this product keep this in mind: find the colour that is like your lip shade if your don't IT WILL look weird.when you put it on it has a minty tingle that goes away after a few seconds, but overall it looks so good on your lips I will be buying more of this but in a darker shade
