Better than average bronzer. The color is pretty light (and I'm fair) but it's not orange or streaky brown. Looks like just a little bit of sun. Has some shimmer. The packaging is pretty and easy to flip open. Personally, I think there are better bronzers for the price ($28) I think but it works well and will probably last a long time.
I recently got this as a deluxe sample from Sephora. I've used it about five times already, and I'm loving it!
It shows up on my skin just fine and lasts awhile. It doesn't look dirty or oompa loompa orange on me. You just have to be careful not to apply too much; just remember to tap off the brush before applying it onto your face.
Another thing that appealed to me was that it was mineral oil-free and it had vitamins. It didn't break me out (which was a relief since I tend to break out with certain products).
Overall, I liked it. I gave it only 4 lippies just because I saw how much it cost (28 bucks at Sephora). But other than that, I will purchase it when I'm done with my sample.
OMG This stuff is amazing!! I just tried my gwp sample from Sephora, and it is the most incredible bronzer ever - silky, golden very lightly shimmery. It looked too brown in the little case, and I am fair to medium toned skin and very freckled so I was concerned to try. So I put just a light application with a BE bronzer brush, and it is the most gorgeous color - the shimmer is just enough to look as if your skin has a bit of a dewy glow, but not ridiculous for someone who is over 30. I look like I used to tan when I was younger and spent all day every day in the sun - fabulous!! I will definitely be purchasing a full size!

I got this as a deluxe sample with my Sephora purchase yesterday, and out of all the bronzers I've tried so far, I like this one the best. It shows up well on me, and doesn't look unnatural. I will probably buy this when my gwp runs out, though admittedly, I don't wear bronzer often
EDIT: The deluxe sample size is actually slightly darker than the full size/ palette size...I ordered the bestseller's palette with the park ave princess in it off tarte, then saw it in sephora...and tested it, but the full size is defiinitely more gold than the deluxe sample... o.o;;

it might just be me but if you lightly put this bronzer on... it doesnt show at all? and if i put too much on i look like some metallic goddess(in a bad way). i had high hopes for this product as overall, its had great reviews. sigh:(.
the packaging is nice to look at though im a bit shattered it didnt come with a brush so its not too great on the portable side of things.
i wouldnt repurchase this again because its not something i reach for when applying ronzer/blush so it looks like itll have a long life in my draw. shame for a product that had such potential.
If you apply this lightly it barely shows up and if you apply it heavily you end up with a light golden sheen that is a bit cakey and frosty. I would say this is not a winner for me. My bronzer search continues.

I had high hopes for Park Avenue Princess based on its description, but I found that I was very much let down! First of all, the color is alright if you just barely dust it on the cheeks, but when I apply it all over like I do with other bronzers, it gives the skin a very gold cast and is a bit too shiny for my tastes - the metallic effect is not natural at all.
And, it breaks me out! I was not expecting this at all since it's a mineral bronzer, but yes, after every time I've worn this bronzer, I end up with breakouts. I do not generally have sensitive skin (I don't have this problem with most products) but Tarte's is not a winner. Too bad!

I don't have the full size version of this- I got it when I bought the new Infinite Glow palette. However, the palette was not listed in the database so I decided to review each product I got individually. Anyway, this stuff is wonderful, it feels silky and the texture is wonderfully creamy. Although it's technically a powder, this bronzer goes on very well for me because of its smooth formulation. It really brightened up my otherwise dull complexion. Be warned, even though it looks matte in the container, it's somewhat shinny/glittery when you apply it.

I love this bronzer, it is very realistic looking and has a very slight shimmer, which I like. It lights up my face. I agree with the previous reviewer that it is easy to get too much on, you have to apply it very lightly.
Great color for my pale yellow skin. I use a real light hand and sometimes it is too much. I might invest in a good bronzer brush to see if that helps. I use the nieva sunless firming moisturizer on my body and then use this bronzer on my face and it looks pretty darn realistic. I haven't tanned in years but this is pretty close. The leather case with the magnetic closure is awesome.
