I don't really like this brush. It leaves my foundation very streaky, I then have to go in and blend it out with another brush or my fingers. The coverage is great, but the streaks aren't. Another thing I dislike is how hard it is to clean this brush. Foundation gets trapped in the middle, and no matter how hard I scrub it, it won't come out. It also takes forever to dry. And I took off another lippie because the ferrule fell off the second time I used it. If you're looking for a good foundation brush from elf, I would recommend their studio powder brush, it's seriously amazing.

This is a decent brush. Although you really have to work with it so it doesn't leave your foundation looking streaking. So brushing it in is good then you have to pat it down with the brush so it don't look crazy. Right now though I've been using this more for putting on masks.

This brush is too thin to get the job done for me. Plus it is so cheaply packaged (at least mine is) that the farrel is falling apart. Will not buy this again, I cant even find a use for this brush.

Ok for only $1 it's ok. The hairs on the brush are a little rough you do have to clean the brush a lot..but then again your supposed to clean every foundation brush a lot! i would like it to be a little softer but once again it's only $1.

To start with the positive: this brush is only $1... and I think that's all! The bristles separate like no other, leaving your foundation/concealer/tinted moisturizer looking totally streaky, you have to wash it SO much! I guess you get what you pay for.

I got one of these a long time ago. I tried it out with foundation, but it didn't work for me. The brush was too stiff and didn't apply my foundation evenly, and ended up leaving obvious streaks all over my face. So, I switched to a different brush. However, I hate wasting things, so I ended up using this to apply facial masks and it work's great. The stiff bristles is what is needed to apply some of the thicker facial masks that I have used. A bit of a pain to clean properly, so I just make sure it clean it twice. Can't complain for the price though.

This brush is amazing for just $1. The bristles are soft yet stiff or dense enough. It's very easy to clean, it also does not shed when washing or using. I haven't had any problems with the glue loosening for the handle but even if it does, I'll fix it with super glue, I mean what can you expect from a $1 brush? I use this with cream foundation and it works great. This brush also works well with blending, just pat over the foundation and streaks are gone ( I mean.. no foundation brush will leave you 100% streak-less ) . Love it!
- BTW this also works really well as a large concealer brush, just a bonus. If you are looking for a awesome concealer brush, use this :). AND if you can't find a use for this brush, try using it to apply masks! Again, great for only $1.

EDIT: I washed this many times already and no shedding =)

I tried using this brush many times but was not impressed. The bristles are stiff and left streaks on my face. It was also nearly impossible to get it clean. This was my first experience with a foundation brush and after using this, I went back to applying with my fingers. After reading some other reviews of this brush I'm thinking maybe it's just THIS brush that's at fault, but frankly it turned me off the whole idea of foundation brushes.
