I do like the lipglasses, however I do agree they are kinda sticky. Not as sticky as others though which is very good. Cute containers and beautiful shades.
I tried a couple of these, and they were too goopy and porn star-ish for me. I had a hard time getting a light, even application of color. The applicator combined with the texture made it glob rather than glide on. Still, I won't write them off entirely. Perhaps I'll try them again to see if they're like that across the board.
I'm surprised that I haven't already reviewed these! Lipglasses are by far my favorite lipglosses-they have great shine, great colors, and great staying power. My one complaint might be the stickiness, as others have said, but I don't mind since the Pros definitely outweigh the Cons for me!
Here's a link to a picture of some of my stash, in case this would be helpful to anyone:

Lipglasses are so gross and sticky. The colors are to metalic and don't look natural. To discoey for my personal liking. And to expensive for the little amount that you get. boooooo. Maybe good for draggQueens??
I bought First Bloom from the Strange Hybrid L/E collection. It's a nice shade, which is very natural looking because it barely shows up. It mostly looks like a neautral tan shade, with lots of shine! A little bit of shimmers. Beautiful!
These are liquid SEX in a tube! Love these, and I am hopelessly addicted to these. I have a huge fondness for whipping these out of my purse, and I truly enjoy applying these. The pigment, color selections, finishes, and scent is perfection. The ONLY reason why I give them a four, is well, they need to add a SPF to their products. If we are paying about 15.00 + tax, the least they can do is add an SPF!
I adore Lipglass. The megawatt shine is fabulous and super-sexy. I agree that the Lustreglass is less sticky, but both are great products. My favorite Lipglass shade so far is Underage.
I am re-editing my review and moving it up from 3 lippies to 5. I used to hate Lipglasses because of their sticky consistency, but after prepping my lips with some lip balm or MAC's tinted lip conditioner, Lipglasses glide smoothly on with the best color payoff I have ever gotten from a gloss. The shades range from bolds to neutrals, and you are getting your moneys worth with great color payoff and reasonable longevity. Some of my favorite shades are Love Child, Nymphette, and Factory Made.
Are MAC lipglasses still as sticky as they used to be? I haven't purchased them for at least five years after I was scared off by the stickiness factor, so I was surprised to see such great reviews. The previous reviewer even said that she likes the way it feels on her lips, so perhaps they have changed the formula? UPDATE: They are not as sticky as before, or my tastes have changed, b/c I love these!!! Great colors, they stay for a long time, and they are actually hydrating, which I wouldn't have thought. These and BB are my fave!
