I fell in love with the perfume the day I saw the poster of a pretty blonde dipped in gold. Everything from the unique bottle to the captivating scent was alluring to me. I can't even describe the scent, it was just lovely. It's the kind of scent you will recognize years after encountering it at first, even now when many celebrity perfumes pretty much smell almost identical to a designer version, nothing has replaced J'adore, but the new manufacturing, I don't think it smells the same, but to be fair neither does my once ultimate favourite Ultraviolet by Paco Rabanne. All I know is that if you adapt this scent as your signature, it will embed in the minds of others. My male friend once told me he looked for me in the crowd when a girl wearing J'adore walked by.
I loved this stuff when I was 16 and I got a 5mL bottle of it in a gift with purchase. I still like it today, but I no longer love it. Why? The version you can purchase today is not the version I fell in love with five years ago. It is no longer dark and velvety, with a rich plum note; it is now bright and slightly soapy. Still a lovely perfume, but I wish it still smelled the same as it did before. T_T

After being initially very impressed with my sample of this, loving the sillage and staying power and the pleasant scent, I am finally over it.
It is a flower not found in nature, but in a chemist's lab.
That fake metallic note is there in abundance. I love grass, lemon,
hay, and REAL flower scents and this has nothing Mother Nature ever could dream up. It smells as if they tried to make a synthetic hyacinth fragrance and failed miserably. I think if you have lived in cities all your life without benefit of a yard of various flowers this would probably please you but if you are an avid gardener, camper, hiker and nature lover this will not interest you. It's ok if you don't mind fake, but as for me, give me real or nothing.

I think it's my fav fragrance of all time!
The smell is so so so nice kinda floral; I think it's rose and jasmine.Anyhow it smell really nice and the smell lasts for hours (actually it's the only perfume that lasts on me) and I think it perfect for any age..I'm 19 and I've been using it since I was 15. Also the packaging is very feminine and elegant.
I just love everything about this perfume!
When i look at this perfume i have to say simply adore the packaging. It looks elegant yet sexy and when you see it on your dresser you are proud to have it there. the smell on me is fresh and floral with a warm side. i think its best for lounging in the sun with friends. elegant yet laid-back. its a little to strong for me and i probably wouldnt but it again for the fact i am not in love with it. even so i give it a 4.
Ok so this is amazing!!I´m on my 3rd bottle and i absolutely love it!!!My fave perfume ever! The smell is so elegant and classy!I get compliments all the time. People says that the smell is for more mature people but I´m 19 and I love it!I Anyone can wear it.
This has been my favourite for years and I think I'm on my third bottle now. I feel like this scent is so sophisticated that anyone will love it. I usually get more compliments when I wear this rather than my HG perfume; Classique by Jean Paul Gaultier. Maybe it's because this is more universal, yet unique and sexy. This smells very much like flowers..maybe lily of the valley? I could be wrong though... And the bottle is just gorgeous! I think CD really nailed it with this design, I feel it smells excatly as it looks like in the bottle :)
