It is an okay powder I guess. I do need to touch up twice in a day if I am out. But what I hate is that the powder is not packed as tightly as I would like. It took only once for the compact to fall and the powder turned to dust :( Definitely not buying again!

I'm actually torn about this product. On the one hand, I love the variety of shades and how easy it is to find a color that suits me even as my skin tone changes throughout the year (darker in summer, paler in winter). I also like that it blots and evens out my skin. It's never cakey either, so that's a real plus.
However, the mattifying effect doesn't last as long as I'd like, especially in the warmer months here in the south. I don't like the fragrance/ smell it has, it reminds me of some kind of chemical, so that bothers me. This is the product I go back to time and again but I wouldn't say I'm a 100% happy with it, perhaps around 75%.
I've hit the pan on my first Blot Powder purchase so I can attest to the frequent usage of this product. It managed to get me through the summer with a glow to my skin rather than a sweaty mess had I not had the Blot Powder in my makeup bag. On occasion, it makes my skin look a little too dry/ cakey but it always gets the job done. I wouldn't say the packaging is really attractive but it feels durable and has lasted well as I never leave my house without it. The mirror is definitely very useful. Definitely buying this product again within the coming weeks.
Meh its okay...to me, it worked no better than the Maybelline dream matte powder or rimmell stay matte powder.......i guess everyone's skin is different lol. But in the end, this thing broke me out badly :( i dont know why mac products always tend to break me out so bad!

This product is a very light weightless touch up powder. Not to be used as a cover powder. Although, its very good for when you go out and you get a bit shiny and dont want to put on a heavy set of foundation powder.
I heard a lot of good review about this so i decided to give it a try. When i apply this, I have to keep blotting at least every hour back-to-back. The oil just comes right back. It doesnt do much for me and im pissed that i paid so much for it. The only good use i found for this is cleaning up eyeshadow fallout. It does a good job at that but thats about it.

I think this powder is expensive for what it is. It really doesn't perform any better than my usual Rimmel Stay Matte. I would apply another dusting of Rimmel once during the day and I have done the same with the MAC. So it's no longer lasting. I would rather splash out the cash on something else in the range like a nice eyeshadow or gloss. Definitely will not be repurchasing.

This powder is one of the staples of my makeup routine. I've changed foundations and have dabbled a bit with other powders, but really, blot powder has been my mainstay for nearly 10 years. Does it eliminate all shine? It can; it depends on the foundation or moisturizers you use and how you apply the powder. I use the compact puff, and replace it periodically, to apply the powder to my t-zone. Overall, I think I'll be using and repurchasing this for life.
I've been using Blot Powder for 10 years now in the color Medium-Dark. It's doesn't leave a whitish cast on my skin and blends in nicely. I basically use this powder for my t-zone applied with a brush at home. I use the powder puff when I'm out and about and I have no problems with the puff leaving a heavy or cakey coating..I do have to reapply once or twice during the day and that doesn't bother me. Never had problems with break outs.
It has a mirror and is perfect for your purse. It keeps my face matte without adding any color, I really don't know what else to say about this. But if you want a cheaper alternative, I recommend Maybelline Dream Matte Powder $7 or Rimmel Stay Matte $5.
For reference, i'm NC25 and i wear this in Medium Dark.
