I've been wearing this for about a year and a half and I love it. It definitely is very warm and exotic. It also doesn't smell like anything else, which I love.

This is my signature scent. Although in summer I wear something else (BBW Japanese cherry blossom is this summers scent) during the day because this is too heavy. I generally like sexy, seductive, chic fragrances that have tuberose, black orchid, gardenia and amber scents. This scent is just soo sexy, dark, sensual and mysterious. I just seems to fit me - I have hazel eyes, olive skin, dark brown/black hair and am very tall. I get so many compliments on how good it smells when I wear it especially from men and my husband loves it! It has staying power on me and lasts through the day. Calvin Klein euphoria is another really good sexy smelling fragrance.

I became obsessed with this perfume a couple of months ago and have been spraying like mad everytime I went to the shops! lol.

I finally bought it and I like it a lot. I can't really describe the scent.. It's musky, sexy, a bit sweet, a bit floral. It reminds me of "grapes" (because of the purple bottle?) and "coconuts" at the same time. There's also a bit of tartness in the smell. The drydown is sweet and heavy. I agree that it's more suited for the cooler months and for nighttime.

The only downside to this fragrance is that it doesn't last on me. Maybe 3-4 hours max then gone. It's probably my fault because I have experienced this with many other perfumes (all, in fact).

Will definitely buy the 100 ml when I'm a bit richer. It's bloody expensive.

I love the bottle looks so exotic, a gem of a bottle. But the perfume, its another story, it exactly like new velvet tuberose by bath and body works and bbw is half the price. This suff cheap smelling.

My favorite fragrance, of all freaking time. Which is saying a lot, I own all the Chanel fragrances, and lots of other high end perfumes, but in the end, it's Crystal noir all the way. I've repurchased it 3 times and will continue to do so until they stop making it and I will then write a letter to the corporation to complain. For sure my HG, signature fragrance.

Okay, onto the actual review: Lots of sexy gardenia, and amber pops out at me, but there are hints of patchouli and coconut as well that I have trouble picking up but others say they do. I love every freaking thing about this perfume but here are some specifics:
- Stays on my skin! (most perfumes don't! YAY!)
- Smells UNIQUE!! I find most perfumes just smell the same these days!! Floral and boring... Not this one!!
- Dark and mysterious
- Sexy as hell. Men go WILD for it, noooo joke!!
- The bottle!! It's sexy just like the scent!
- Affordable compared to other high end designer fragrances
- Pretty rare, so you can stay unique and don't have to worry about 100 other people wearing it around you!! (like Coco mademoiselle or Poison)

Sexy, dark, mysterious, gorgeous. Instant glamour. Highlyyyyy recommend for luring men in. ;)

I love this scent. It's spicy, mysterious and classy. Wearing this makes me feel sexy. It might be a little too heavy for daytime, but it's perfect for a night out. Also love the bottle in the shape of a diamond, just gorgeous.

A lovely dark rendition of gardenia, creamy & a bit of green, not too heavy & sweet like they can be.. Definitely sensuous & tropical, clear but rich like syrup. Like a warm clear night in the tropics, full moon & light breeze. continued >>

Very sexy, sensual winter fragrance. Love it!!

This is my first fragrance review, but here goes -
Upon first sampling Crystal Noir's EDP, I was immediately reminded of Christmas, woody, spicy, and wasn't quite sure what to think, but the scent kept drawing me in and evolving, within an hour it had transformed into something summery, slightly coconut, poolside, the beach... I was enthralled and decided to puchase Crystal Noir. I've only worn it a couple of times thus far, but have not experienced the same extremes. It's a lovely, well blended fragrance, I'm primarily noting floral - gardenia, a little spice, a little green. It's a pleasure to wear, not at all cloying. My only complaint is that on me it has almost no staying power and is barely detectable within a few hours. Oh, and I did receive a compliment on it today!

11/09/07 UPDATE: I've changed this from 4 to 5 lippies - love it! This is the fragrance I use whenever I can't make up my mind, it's so easy to wear, will definately repurchase.

I have resisted buying this for some time. Firstly I don't need any more perfumes to add to the already large collection I own. This week I made an exception. I found it on BeautyBay for £15 so I thought, go on treat yourself! My friend wears this and I always find myself being drawn to it. I tried it many times last year and didn't like the way it dried down during the Summer months at all so put it on the back burner.

This morning, it is sunny, cold but crisp and I am loving the smell of me!
