Love this! There is actually a noticeable improvement in my skin after using this...even immediately afterwards. The pores on my nose are smaller and the overall tone and colour of my skin is more even. Very calming and lovely mask and I will definitely repurchase.

I haven't done a review in a really really long time...and I'm talking YEARS. Tho this might be too quick of a review after only one use, I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. I have had pretty bad skin on and off for 9 months now. Mainly getting pimples or not-quite-formed pimples along the jawline, chin and sides of my face. SO I thought I'd bite the bullet and try this mask.
As I'm writing, my skin is so beautifully soft and I feel really clean and exfoliated. I have a feeling that it may have drawn up more bumpies and they'll prop up tomorrow, but that's a good thing I guess...drawing out all the toxins!

Will definately update my review again once I use up the tub. But so far I am very impressed. I have used the cosmetic warrior mask before, ....used up 2 tubs. And I'm more impressed with one application's results than that! Hopefully it'll help heal my skin.

This is the best mask from lush in my opinion. It smells great, like flowers to me, not honey (which is weird I guess). It is really refreshing and calming. I would definitely buy it again! I'm not so sure though that this is a cure for acne, but for a fun and effective mask that isn't intense, it's perfect!

This is, hands down, the best mask I have ever used. It TRULY leaves your face glowing. My skin felt congested and looked bumpy (not pimples, just irritation and clogged pores), then I used this mask and it INSTANTLY cleared all the blackheads off my nose! After two uses, it has left my skin visibly smoother, with a dewy look. I think it helped that since my skin started looking better, I also started wearing less make-up, so my skin just started getting better and better! I personally love the smell, but definitely took the warning of the other reviews here and wiped my skin with toner (Breath of Fresh Air) and a cotton pad after rinsing. The cotton pad had a yellow-ish tinge after so it's definitely worth that extra step! Plus, Lush's newest packaging of the masks in black pots is 100 times better than their previous plastic container. I've tried nearly all their BioFresh masks and this is my favourite one, by FAR.

Love this mask! I always leave it on for as long as I can then massage my face as I'm taking it off (using your fingertips, massage in circles in an upward motion). It leaves me glowing for days and it really does help with the blackheads!!! For acne, try Cosmetic Warrior.

What would I do without brazened honey.. this is the first LUSH mask I ever tried, and the one I always come back to. Its absolutely perfection for my sensitive, combination skin.

This mask is super gentle and leaves my skin softly exfoliated, shrinks my pores, vanishes blackheads, and detoxes like a dream. Sure, it doesnt look pretty and smells kinda wierd, but who cares when you see how much your skin glows afterwards? It can be kind of messy to remove and might require a little scrubbing, but its easier if you dont leave it on so long that the mask dries on your face.

My only real complaint in the past with LUSH masks was that the pots were WAY too big for one person to use up before they expired, but the new, smaller [and cheaper!] sizes are perfect. You only need a little bit, and for 7 bucks you get a TON.

I was expecting a nice HIWTK smell...but this is more spicy. Smells like some Indian Curry Dish or something. Makes skin feel great though. Your skin definitely feels clean and detoxed.

Normally, face masks have done little to actually improve skin, normally I saw them as a treat for their moisturizing and aroma therapy benefits. However, this has been the best product to touch my face from Lush. My Skin Type: sensitive, acne prone, normal-oily. Currently I am undergoing a treatment from my dermatologist that is drying out my skin. I have some dry patches around my chin.

PROS: (1) the scent. Normally I don’t like herbal smells, however this one is uplifting and refreshing. To me it smells like sage, rosemary, and fennel, with an undertone of roses and honey. (2) Shrinks my acne and reduces inflammation (3) restores moisture to dry areas while still removing oils. (3) The ground walnuts exfoliate my skin without irritating it. (4) Does not cause new break outs to my skin. (5) unclogged stubborn pores and black heads, especially from my nose.

CONS: None! Normally I always have something to complain about, but this is one of the few products that has a perfect score with me.

I highly recommend this to anyone with combination/acne prone skin. It really gives your skin that ‘reset’ it needs at the end of the week after the abuse of foundation, climate, and stress it puts up with. I have been using mine 2-3 times a week (every 3rd day as needed). After just a week I noticed dramatic improvement in my skin.

*NIOTE*: Lush has a great recycling program, when you return 5 empty pots for recycling, you get a free Fresh Face Mask.
Happy Shopping

I love this. So far this is the only thing I will continue to buy form LUSH. This mask is the first mask that I have used, that would be labeled as a detoxifying mask. Best to leave this on until it dries, exfoliates and brightens skin. When I have the time to lay around I use this mask on my chest and neck, I see great results in doing this. I am also a fan of how fresh this mask is, so I do not mind the early expiration date. Many have complained about the scent, which I find pleasant- fresh cut wildflowers/honey scent.
I would like to break down the ingredients in this- to show the benefits and to clarify which skin type this is best for.
Ingredients:
Kaolin, Talc, Fresh Lime Juice, Sage, Rosemary and Juniper berry Infusion, Fresh Free Range Eggs, Honey, Glycerine, Fresh Fennel, Ground Walnut Shells, Peanut Oil, Bentonite Gel, Fresh Ginger Root, Fresh Parsley, Fresh Coriander, Ground Tumeric, Ground Cardamom, Clove Bud Oil, Ginger Oil, Vetivert Oil, Juniperberry Oil, Perfume.

Kaolin is a white clay that detoxify and provide minerals to the skin (best for oil/normal skin)

Talc is an ingredient that this mask could do with out- has been linked to cancer, harmful to the lungs and irritating. (sensitive skin beware)

Lime juice has antibacterial and antiseptic effect. This is what brings about the tingling in this mask (best for oily/ bad for sensitive can be very irritating)

Sage, rosemary and juniper berry are all essential oils known to balance oil/ decreases oil production. (oily)

Free range eggs- great for repairing the skin, helps with sagging. (all skin)

Honey sooths, antibacterial (normal)

Glycerin (all skin)

Fennel skin soother is a wonderful treatment for prematurely aged (all skin)

Ground walnut shells for exfoliation (normal/ not for sensitive)

Peanut oil moisturizing (normal)

Bentonite is a clay, does the same as kaolin (oil/normal)

Ginger detox, anti-inflammatory (normal)

Parsley antioxidant (normal)

Coriander detox (normal)

Ground Tumeric anti-inflammatory (normal)

Clove Bud Oil detox (normal)

This mask as you can see, is best for normal skin types.

I normally find that face masks do nothing for my skin, but suck all the moisture out of them. I was in Lush buying some of my regular products the other day when on a whim I suggested to my friend that we get masks and have a girls night. The results of this mask blew me away. I know it said warming on the package, but I had no idea. I put it on and 10 seconds later it was burning and tingling on my face like a lip plumper! It was uncomfortable for about 30 seconds then it went away. I let it sit on for 10 minutes then rinsed it off with warm water. The glow on my skin and the fresh clean look of it was unbelievable. It shrunk my pores and made my skin so soft and smooth that when I put my moisturizer on afterwards I just kept touching my face. I did it 2 days in a row and I can see where it is detoxifying my face I had a few of those hard under the skin blemishes and it finally brought them to the surface. I'm going to use this twice a week I figure I can get about 8 uses out of this pot regardless of what it suggests because you really don't need a whole lot. The smell is growing on me. I can't wait to try some of the other masks now.
