Very gentle cleanser for sensitive skin, but I do not feel like it cleanses very well. Also after rinsing it I feel like it leaves a slight film of oily residue.

Neutrogena Extra Gentle cleanser comes in the form of a cleansing cream/milk in a pump bottle. I bought this cleanser specifically to use during winter. My skin sometimes feels uncomfortably tight after cleansing during colder, drier seasons and I prefer cleansing creams/milk as opposed to foaming cleansers.

This cleanser makes my skin feel really smooth, moisturized and soft to the touch; almost as though I had already moisturized it, and not just cleansed! One pump of this is enough to cleansed my entire face and neck area. I also find that since using this product, I don't get dry patches on my cheeks as much as before anymore.

This cleanser won't give you skin that 'squeaky clean' feeling like foaming cleansers, but that is to be expected in cleansing creams/milk.

No breakouts on my sensitive skin from this product. I took 1 lippie off because if I'm wearing heavier makeup, this doesn't completely remove it and I have to sometimes cleanse twice.

This was one of a series of products I bought for my sensitive skin + this, like the others only seemed to worsen the condition (though not as badly as Purpose cleanser did). The consistency is also very gloppy and the packaging causes much problems, as the top always seems to break off and you've got to screw it off to get the product. Extra gentle is a joke. Made my skin dry, no nice moisturizing feel at all. Not good. I am convinced Neutrogena does not know how to make cleansing products at all, though I like their Visibly Even moisturizer very much.

This lotion cleanser is hypoallergenic and fragrance-free. It works well on my sensitive and dry skin, but there are other products that feel better on my skin. It does a good job of cleansing and rinses off easily. I remove my makeup with a separate product, so I can't say how effective it is as a makeup remover.

I wish more places carried this criminally overlooked cleanser. True, it is extra gentle, almost lotion-like -- think of a thinned out cold cream cleanser -- and does a pretty good job of removing makeup. Warning: this is best sensitive skin that leans toward dry, even parched. It does leave a slight residue, and oily skins might find it a bit too slippery. I started using this after a bad reaction to sunscreen when even my old standby, Cetaphil, left my skin stingy and chapped. No problems yet, and my skin feels softer than it has in a long time. It does have a slight scent, despite what the label says.

This is the only cleanser that I have found that doesn't irritate my skin. I have extremely sensitive skin and this stuff is great! I also suffer from allergies to just about everything and this is the best I've found thus far.

Like my other neutrogena products, this didn't irritate my skin at all. It does not remove makeup. But for regular cleansing, I think it is not bad. I give it a 4, because it is one of the few cleansers that I can safely use(on my sensitive skin).

I bought this as an alternative to Cetaphil which didn't cleanse deeply enough for my liking. This had a nice, creamier consistency than Cetaphil, but still didn't cleanse deeply enough for me. A good product though if you're looking for a very gentle cleanser.

I picked this up to mitigate the dryness that my former Biore wash was causing me. And I really like it! I'm slowly getting used to the total lack of lather. It also still cleans my face completely and removes makeup without a greasy residue left behind. I'd definitely buy this again! But if you have extremely dry skin (as opposed to slight dryness), you might want something more moisturizing, as this doesn't leave anything behind on your face.

Decent price, simple packaging, no fragrance, and the best of all it does not irritate my sensitive skin!
