My skin is normal and supple, not dry or oily. I don't have particularly sensitive skin. Also, I'm 38 and trying to keep my skin surface clean and soft.

I found the set to be well packaged and easy to use. The first two times I used it, I didn't scrub the crystals in very much before adding the activator, not wanting to irritate my skin before I knew how strong this was. I didn't see any results, but then I didn't expect to see results very quickly. A few days after my first use, I noticed small white heads on my cheeks and chin. I assumed they were a sort of "purge" that sometimes happens with new products, or perhaps the removal of skin from over my pores, causing inflammation. I used it a second time - more white heads and some pretty startling acne. I never have acne - I didn't have it even as a teenager, so this was a bit disturbing for me.

I decided to give it another go after my skin recovered. So about a month after my second use, I tried it again. Again within a few days the white heads and acne. I was disappointed that my skin didn't even look particularly clean after using it. I mean, okay, perhaps I wouldn't see immediate improvement, but the skin not looking even especially clean?

Final use: again with the skin irritation and acne. This time some really choice pimples. All of a sudden I realized that within each blemish was an actual crystal. So this product was directly causing the irritation - not through purging, but because it was cramming the micro crystals into my skin and getting infected. Ugh.

I stopped using it and my skin recovered. Now I'm sticking to Green Cream and other acid based exfoliants and am back to my normal, glowing skin.

I have combination, medium brown skin but hardly ever break out with pimples or anything so I felt comfortable trying this.
I wanted to minimize my large pores and also help improve some pigmentation issues in order to make my foundation go on as smoothly as possible.
WELL. Let me say that my skin was SOO soft after the peel. It was AMAZING. It was easy to do and it DID NOT BURN OR IRRITATE ME AT ALL like me regular cleansing sometimes does.
I think the last time my skin was that smooth was at birth. seriously. my moisterizer went on like silk, and my regular liquid foundation looks flawless. all day, at the gym, after the gym.
i beleive that makeup looks best on a smooth clean surface and this peel will give you the perfect canvas you need before aplpying any makeup.

I love this stuff. I guarantee if you have patchy skin, sensitive skin, dry skin or any skin that just needs a bit of help that after using this, it will be so soft! It is the best exfoliating stuff I have ever used. Since I already have the stuff on my hands from putting it on my face, I also do the same steps to them and it makes them look great. It is amazing stuff.

I bought this when I was in a Philosophy phase and I was trying out a lot of their products.
I haven't a lot of experiences with peels and masks. The few that I've tried have broken me out but this hasn't.
It smells like oranges which I love so that's a plus for me.
Easy to do and use. I bought this for reducing my pores. I don't have wrinkles so I don't know if it helps for that.
After I used it my skin was really soft and it wasn't dry or tight. I did notice that my pores looked a lot smaller.
I will buy it again but until I find a cheaper alternative.

I have never been so in love with a product until I got my hands on a sample courtesy of a lovely MUA swapper. I don't usually expect instant results but from the moment I first rinsed it off, my skin felt amazing. The results only got better after the first & second day & I literally could not wait until the third day to do it again. Keep in mind, I used the tiniest bit out of fear of breaking out but that didn't happen. I made that sample last for four uses & I wasn't sad when it ran out because I had already purchased the full size after my second use & here's why: THIS STUFF GETS RID OF ACNE SCARS (from a terrible experience with a clinique scrub) & BLACKHEADS. After my second application I actually considered not wearing foundation. Whereas before I would have to load up on concealer, my problem areas are lightening & diminishing to the point where I only need to use half as much. It's crowning glory? I have had these three small raised bumps on my nose for over six years, don't know what they were or where they came from but they are gone now. I mean, completely disappeared & I was seriously considering some type of laser treatment from a doctor to try to remove them. So sixty five bucks? IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! continued >>

I just used this product for the first time. WOW. My oily, sensitive skin was significantly prettier and healthier after just the one use! I instantly noticed my skin was more radiant and clear, not to mention baby-soft! No more bumps and course areas! I even used it on my lips, and they are very soft too! And it only took 5 minutes, and very little product. However, I did not say perfect. I am breaking out at the moment, and the peel did nothing for that, but we shall see with continued use if the exfoliation helps to reduce breakouts by clearing dirt and bacteria from pores. I will update in a few weeks. So far, I do recommend this. Just be weary of the price tag... OUCH!

I love this stuff!!! I mainly know this product by the name of 'The microdelivery peel' and it's the most expensive cosmetic product I ever bought but would rebuy this throughout my life time. This is unlike any peel i have ever used. Most peels make my face feel dry, sensitive and uncomfortable and so do most scrubs as well. But this left my face that had acne on it and dry rough patches of skin, smooth and softer than I have ever had. The pimples actually subsided and the 1 cystic pimple on my chin was less noticeable. This is truly the best product I have ever used and the amount you use with each peel is very little so this can last for a long time with a peel once or twice a week. My only complaint is that I can see a possibility with running out of the activating gel before the crystals. But regardless this is totally worth the price if you want beautiful, smooth skin. No other peel compares.

This makes my skin so soft like glass and gets rid of the flakiness. I use it about 3 times a week followed by a good moisturizer and keeps the flakiness away. I only wish it was cheaper.

While the packaging makes the product hard to get out or see what you have left, the effect is fabulous. I find this does wonders to de-flake and help clear my skin. I use it 2-3xs a week with no irritation. I even follow up with my Clarisonic to get a nice, deep clean. This peel is not for everyone and you can get very raw skin if you are sensitive or heavy-handed during application. I'd do a patch test aound the hairline to see if it works for you.

This is my HG facial peel! I made the mistake of buying the Serious Skin Care one b/c it was cheaper and it looked the same, but it doesn't hold a candle to Philosophy's. This peel is simply amazing. Whenever I do a treatment with this, my skin has such a radiant glow to it. The crystals in this exfoliated my skin like nothing else, and the second step in this provides another exfoliation. When finished, my skin feels so moisturized and soft. I usually do step 1 from anywhere in the range of 3-5 minutes. I then follow with step 2 for anther 3-5 minutes. I then take a washcloth and wipe off most of the peel, and rinse what the washcloth doesn't catch. I can't express how perfect this peel is. I will stray from this peel no more. It is available at Sephora or philosophy in 1 oz for $65 or at Nordstroms and QVC in 2 oz for $100 :)
