Received a sample as a free gift with Glamour magazine. Nothing special. It's a dark black shade and doesn't flake on me. It is buildable. However, my biggest gripe is that it doesn't hold a curl like Hypnose or Diorshow do. I have straight sparse lashes. After long days it sometimes migrates to under my eyes. I do like the quality packaging and the brush is good quality. Update: I don't lose any lashes with this, so I've added an extra lippy as my lashes are now a bit thicker and longer.

Probably the #1 reason that I prefer this is that it doesn't end-up under my eyes. Over the past few years, every mascara that I've used has ended-up flaking and ending-up under my eyes. I'm sure it's me bcuz I've used the same brands for years without problems. I've been trying to find a mascara that won't end-up on my face and this one is it. No flaking. Great coverage. I think it's more gray-black than black-black and I prefer that. Washes off easy.

Garbage. I liked it at first because of the oversized brush and dry - and therefore buildable - formula. It didn't make my lashes look fake, or overly done. It wasn't that special, it was just pretty nice. I thought maybe I'd repurchase the sample size again )no way I'd ever pay $20 for a mascara). However, lately it's been traveling under my eyes. Not pretty and not okay. Unacceptable. I've also gotten flakes in my eyes.
Nothing too special and not long wearing.

Definitely wanted to like this stuff so much but it was not at all what I expected! I usually have had good luck with most BeneFit products but this was clearly a dud. Goes on kind of dry and does not do a very good job lengthening, volumizing or really anything no matter how many coats you apply. I bought the smaller size and even regretted buying that.

I'm amazed at the negative comments for this mascara! This is easily the best I've ever used. I can understand that the brush would be difficult to maneuver for people with shorter lashes, but this is absolutely ideal for people with long and thing or sparse lashes. It's very natural looking, volumizes beautifully, and lasts all day (at least it has for me--I have very oily skin, but pretty average eyelids). The price is terrible, absolutely, but I couldn't recommend anything more than this for the workplace. School, maybe not so much.

Benefit usually has products that are amazing and worth the money, this mascara however is not one of those products. it does not hold a curl to save its life, does not volumize or lengthen, quite frankly there are so many different mascaras even drugstore ones that can run laps around this one. it blew me away in the fact that its the worst mascara i've ever purchased. please listen, save your money and do not buy!

I actually really like this. I didn't like the awkward brush but it's workable.

This product did not perform well or give me the desired look for my lashes. A lot of drugstore mascaras are 100 X better than this. The brush did not make my lashes stand out, and also this flaked like crazy, and after I took a nap this was completely running down my face. This is so not worth the price.

Not impressed.

I really wanted to like this mascara. I really did but it wasn't anything "great". It's just an average mascara. Not the worst & not the best. It thickened my lashes but nothing else. I was so excited to get this & it ended up disappointing me. Sadly.... continued >>
