I didnt like this. I bought the pink 'watermelon' one and it does have some nice tint of color BUT its not like a balm at all...my lips felt really REALLY dry after using it and I think later they started to even chap!!!

Definitely not worth it...going back to return it later.

Great color payoff, awesome packaging, not so great formula.

I like not having to sharpen it, and for not being a real lipstick, it does have great pigmentation. However, I have found that it cant stay put at all! Using a lip liner kind of helps this issue, but its annoying to have to use lipstick tools for a 'non lipstick' to work. continued >>

I have these in a few of the new shades (Mighty Mimosa, Pudgy Peony, and Oversized Orange). I love the texture and packaging. I love two of the three shades I purchased - I will be exchanging Mighty Mimosa as it looked too orangey on my fair olive skin tone. The Oversized Orange was perfect, however, and the Pudgy Peony is a super wearable hot pink. That is probably the best shade. I would like to get Bashful Blush - I tried it on it store and it was the perfect nude on me. Would be great with a smoky eye.

I have been wanting to try the new Chubby Sticks for a few months now so when I saw the new spring colors, I bought Mighty Mimosa. Overall, I think the product is very drying, and I had to layer so much color to get a bright pink that it was uncomfortable & gunky looking. This pink, on me, was very light with just 1-2 strokes. I have medium skin, dark brown hair and eyes. I would probably not buy this color again, but would try some of the darker sticks that might have more impact. This would be a good buy for a very natural look. continued >>

I have these in Chunky Cherry, Fuller Fig and Mucho Melon. I got these after trying and loving one of the Tarte lip stains but feeling remorse over their hefty price tag. These are a comparable and more affordable option. I love that these impart color but don't ever look overdone. I like to keep my makeup fairly minimal but polished during the work day and these accomplish that with ease. I love how easy they are to use, you don't even really need a mirror with them. I'm excited that they have more colors coming out soon. They are quite moisturizing but, as a balm, not extremely long wearing. I'd say they last 2-3 hours on me.

went on smooth, good color payoff for not being a lipstick and imparts a subtle sheen. great for girls who think lipsticks & glosses are too much. this is right in the middle. pretty moisturizing also, you wouldnt need a lip balm underneath this. purchased in mega melon and i love the shade, great for summer! took off 1 star because it goes very fast. continued >>

I have this in Woppin Watermelon, Super Strawberry and Fuller Fig. I suffer from chronically dry lips and these do not cause my lips to crack and peel despite wearing them alone without a lip balm. However, I do not think that they provide bursts of moisture like what Clinique claims but they do not subtract moisture from my lips when I have them on. Comes in a chubby tube which makes it very portable and easy to apply on the go. Good to haves but not necessarily must haves.

If there's one thing I love, it's not having to sharpen a cosmetic item shaped like a pencil.. (I'm the girl that totally scrapes every last bit of eyeshadow out of the corners.. waste not, want not!) That's gotta be my favourite part of this item. When I applied it lightly, it felt a bit off and was very sheer. A bit wet/greasy feeling, not sticky. When applied a bit more heavily, it provided pigmentation to the lips but would "fall" down my lips, slowly but surely.. before I knew it, I had some pretty sultry clown-lips.

The colour is gorgeous, the packaging is neat and basic, the product's consistency was not to my satisfaction however and was not worth the cash, IMHO.

Before purchasing, try sampling it at the counter.. and go about your afternoon, have a hot bevvy (check for how quick it will melt on ya), and so fourth to see how it holds up for you.

I got this in the Strawberry color and i will be returning it. I like the formula, despite the fact that it only lasts about 20 minutes on me, less if I'm drinking hot tea. For me, the issue is the unflattering color. When I was buying it at Sephora, I had a tough time figuring out which color to buy as none of them looked like they would be flattering on my pale, yellow-undertoned, rosacea-prone skin. I settled on the Strawberry, hoping it would give me a glossy, comfortable pop of pink. It looks awful on me. The color clashes with my warm-toned skin and it just looks really cheap. It's a reddish-pink that really brings out my ruddy spots - not good. I'll be steering clear of these until they have a better color selection for warmer-toned skin.

When I firstly saw this lip balm, I was so happy, because in our country we havenīt got brand Tarte and I really wanted to try their Lip surgence.I have color Woppin Watermelon and I think itīs great thing for everyday makeup, because it has creamy balm finish and it just gives you pretty light pink tint.I have very dry lips, so I need moisturizing product and Chubby stick doesnīt make your lips dry.If you like this type of products, itīs good thing for you, if you like more pigmented products, which gives you more color and theyīre longwear, donīt buy Chubby stick!
I usually have this product in my bag, and thatīs perfect choice for me.
