Honey!!! Can i eat this soap.... this soap smells so yummy, the pleasant smell of honey and toffe combined is exhilarating.... infact my friends kid wanted to eat it... As said by a few reviewers this isn't a great shower soap it doesn't strip you of moisture but at the same time not great at keeping your skin soft and supple... Its better to use Lush's body butter after using this. Alternatively i would suggest to use this as a hand soap.

Pros: Great Smell ,lasts long, feels fresh
Cons: Not Moisturizing

I love the HIWTK smell and this soap is so creamy and lathers very well. I like to use it as a hand soap, I tend not to use solid soaps in the shower.

It smells ok, but I'm a rockstar girl. I love lush but I probably won't buy this again.

I love toffee candy and I like honey so I thought that I would love this soap. I enjoyed the smell of the soap, but I was not impressed when I used it in the shower.

My son loves this soap, and I love the fragrance!! As others have mentioned, it does have a tart yet sweet caramel type fragrance that manages to still smell...clean. But OMG the price!! Its why I will not purchase this soap again. I paid $16 for a decent sized bar of this!! I realized too late that I am not doomed to paying ridiculous prices for this soap. I'll be using dupes from online vendors from now on, and use the $$$ I save for gas, lol.

Hmm, should it smell like lemons? I guess not. I ordered two of these online after smelling them in a local LUSH. They smelt like toffee and honey there but after I received the ones bought online I was about to throw up. The smell is disgusting, like lemons and caramel together, ugh. Do I have to say more? I'm not going to repurchase this soap.

Oh, I was so taken by the smell I forgot to review the product itself. I found it easy to use but it left my skin squeaky clean (which is not a good thing) and feeling very dry!

I was really excited when I placed order of Honey I Washed The Kid because it's the first time I order anything from Lush. Honestly, the shipping amazed me because it was super-fast. It doesnt even take me 10 days. i think it was around 6 or 7 days.

Anyway, they packed this soap in plastic, considering that they are 'green earth' type of people, why would they do that? I can understand, I live in a humid place, they're protecting the soap from melting =)

I smelled it and I didnt like it. =/ I couldnt smell the honey, but I can definitely smell the toffee. Whatever? It's not like how I expected it to be. Kinda disappointed, but mom like it so it her's now. I can definitely see that she wanted to eat it, Im happy that she's happy =)

I think this soap is a bit over-rated. Don't get me wrong, I like Lush products, but this soap just didn't work too well with me. I like the scent. In my opinion, it doesn't smell like honey. More like toffee or caramel which the reviewer below me also mentioned. This didn't leave my skin feeling too soft or moisturized afterwards. It left my skin a bit dry and 'waxy' like. (Maybe from the honeycomb?). It lathered fairly well and like alot of the Lush soaps, melted quite quickly in the shower, so be sure to cut into smaller pieces and use piece by piece. The honeycomb top of the soap was a little scratchy with my skin, so to me it seems more like a decoration than for actual purposes. This was a bit of a disappointment.

This soap makes me giddy just thinking about it.
It doesn't smell like honey at all to me. In fact, I hate honey.. the smell of it, the taste, the texture.. but this soap is just AMAZING. It smells like caramel toffee, sweet but just lightly sweet, a soft scent that makes you want to eat it. To me this is a universal scent, but I guess there will always be people who don't like a certain scent, so smell it for yourself. However, I can't rave enough for the scent.
As for the soap's soapy qualities, another rave. It lasts a long time and isn't easily eroded by the water. It's also creamy, but I didn't find it particularly moisturizing. Just nice to use. I don't need it to be moisturizing, though, because that's what lotions are for : )
Holy grail soap. Go on, buy it now.
Update: This isn't my holy grail soap anymore, but I still really recommend it!

I love Honey I Washed the Kids soap. The smell is addictive! I love love love it. I'm so happy to take a shower when I have this soap on hand! It is too pricey I must admit. I cannot afford to keep a constant supply in my bathroom sadly. It also melts really quickly which makes the price hurt even more! But for everyone who loves this soap go and buy the new Lush body wash called It's Raining Men. It apparently smells jussst like Honey I Washed the Kids. It is on my list of next purchases for sure!
