I don't get the high reviews for this. At most it's an okay pencil. My N.Y.C brow pencil does more for me than this does though. Why would I spend the $5 on this when I can get a 99cent version that's better? It doesn't make sense. The only "nice" thing about this product is that brush on the lid. Most brow pencils should come with it. That's the only "positive' thing I can say about this product.
I accidently over trimmed one of my eyebrows and therefore needed something that would hide the mistake until they grow back. I hunted around various shops looking for eyebrow pencils that were not too expensive as I am on a bit of a budget. I was delighted when I found this for £2.50 and immediately bought it in hazel. I found the colour to be a bit red for my eyebrows which are a more of a grey/blonde colour. I was initially disappointed but found that with a lot of blending and slowly building the colour up the overall look was not too noticeable. I can't fault the price or the packaging (I love the brow brush on the lid) but I feel that Rimmel really need to work on their blonder tones. I would buy this product again if the colour is improved.
I have dark red/ brown hair and the 001 Dark Brown colour is perfect for me as it has red undertones. The texture and staying power of this pencil is great and it makes my eyebrows look much better. I like the way it has a brush on the cap. I also tried this in Hazel but this colour is far too light for me and looked terrible, maybe Hazel would be suitable for natural blondes
I saw this on sale for half price so I thought what the hey..and bought it. Well I have black eyebrows, and the darkest colour didn't seem dark enough. But the quality is great, it stays on and the brush on the end is really useful!
Overall, a good eyebrow pencil for the price, but it still tends to "melt" on to my skin. I think I got this in the darkest shade possible and it still wasn't dark enough for my jet black but sparse eyebrows. On the bright side, it goes on easily, is easy to control and has great staying power. I just wish it was darker and slightly harder, but I think only high end pencils are made to be THAT hard.
Hi, I decided to purchase this eyebrow pencil after hearing a lot of good reviews online. HOWEVER,,, its really average.. not great.. not bad.. just yah.. an OKAY sort of product. The pencil goes on too dark and chalky, its almost like an eyeliner.. I prefer brow pencils that are hard (the point). Do you know what I mean? it makes you look like a dog.. very unnatural.. anyway, I wouldn't purchase it again. I prefer MAC and Missha's eyebrow pencils- way better.
I'm so sad that I have to write this, but I won't repurchase this pencil. It actually IS great value for money, the problem with me is the colour, definitely too dark (I bough Hazel and I have strawberry blonde hair with medium brows). While it looks ok on the outer part of my brows, the pencil is very pigmented so it's not easy to keep the inner part from ending up being too dark. Also, the brush is very very nice and the price super ok. I just wish they had a larger colour selection, this is definitely too dark for blondes with light-medium brows.
Good. Like it. Standard eyebrow pencil. Looks natural.
Great eyebrow pencil. I have it in the black color, and it works wonderfully. Just lightly dash along the eyebrows then take the built in brush and work it in your brows. Looks natural but your brows look awesome. I like that it's a pencil, because i find it gives a more natural look when compared to the twist up ones. decent price, doesn't run down your face if you're sweating or anything, great buy.
I use this when I don't use my MAC brow shader and I really like it, I think it is a good neutral shade of brown, no red to it. It's a good product.
