I bought this product based on MUA reviews and am disappointed with my experience with this product. I am very scent sensitive and one of the chemicals has a smell in this product that irritated my eyes to no end. I had itchy watery eyes and what I considered very light coverage for such a heavy feeling concealer. It is creamier than others I have tried but I could not get past the smell and mild burning sensation that accompanied it. Anyone with sensitive skin, I suggest you sample this product first. The packaging is very chintzy for the price.

This is my HG concealer. I have had terrible dark circles all my life and have tried every concealer under the sun. Every once in a while I'm tempted to try a new latest and greatest concealer that's come out, and none are able to beat Time Balm. (Every time I try a new one, I do one eye in each and ask my friend which eye looks better without telling her which is which, and with out fail she picks the Time Balm eye.) The fact that it's supposedly good for your skin is a big plus because at 33 years old, I'm starting to worry about lines...
Good stuff!

I was looking for an eye liner base (so that my eye liner doesn't come off, leave me looking like a panda) and was recommended this balm. Not only does a wonderful job of keeping my eyeliner in place, it also hides my occasionally blemish. It's a creamy texture that glides in smoothly. At the end of each day, it looks as good as if I've just put it on. Definitely not cakey as some reviewers reported. If you are looking for a concealer, do give this a try. It's a truly wonderful, wonderful product!! Although expensive, it worth the money spent.

At first, I loved the coverage that this Time Balm gave me, but after a couple of hours, it tends to look a little cakey. I usually go for mineral concealers, but I wanted to try another liquid/cream one since my skin has been dry lately.
This concealer provides the most smooth and nice coverage when you first have it on. It doesn't accent any flakes and looks decent for a couple of hours. However, after a while, it cakes up and I really need something that'll last my long school/work days. Also, I'm not sure if this is the culprit.. but I think this broke me out as well. If you're looking for creamy and fuller coverage this is for you. But I prefer something that doesn't feel so heavy on my skin.
Glad to see so many good reviews for this product - going to stick with it. It's pretty good coverage, for my undereyes, and occasional blemishes, and scarring from latter, just a little dry-looking on the scabby scars. But overall gives good coverage for someone who only covers that up with powder, preferring not to wear foundation only on special occasions.

As concealers go, it is not bad. I chose the "Lighter than Light" shade (I am apparently as pale as a ghost) and it blends in seamlessly. For my skin, though, it only really worked well on old purplish or reddish blemish scars. The cream to powdery formula is great for that. It is a joke with regard to undereye circles. I use it there only to blend in my undereye concealer. It really doesn't do much.
Also, it comes in this teeny tiny jar (my Korres lip butter, bought at the same time, is bigger) that makes me feel like I was ripped off. $18 for that?! Buyer beware. Also, there is a teeny tiny circular sponge that they put in the jar for you to use. Sweet idea, since otherwise you would be tempted to use a Q-tip or a toothpick. Good luck getting that sponge out without scooping out your concealer at the same time.
Overall, I wouldn't mind the product if they gave me more for my money! I was stunned that the color worked so well for me. I just have to learn to ignore the part of the product information that says it works on undereye circles.

I LOVE this concealer. It's better than MUFE, BB, MAC in my opinion. The packaging is cheap but it works great and you get a lot of product for your money. For reference I am NC35 and I bought the medium.

Creamy goodness! Love it! It blends easily, it also covers my dark circles and redness around my nose, but apply this on dry skin...it flakes out. But a good moisturizer will do the job. I'm ok with this.
I was recommended by a Sephora employee to try this product. The product comes in a small jar along with a sponge. It matched my skin tone exactly and stayed put pretty much all day. The consistency is very thick, so it covers my dark circles and dark spots very well. I recommend this if you have spots or scars on your face.
I've been a fan of TheBalm lip glosses and eyeshadow palettes for a long time, so I don't know why it took me so long to try their concealer. I guess I was scared off by the pot since usually concealers in a pot are heavy, oily, cakey...in other words scary if you are trying to avoid clogged pores or that creasing, heavy concealer look. I've tried many concealers in various forms and have never been more than lukewarm about the results, but this one is fantastic! It is smooth, creamy, weightless, and NEVER cakes on me! I don't put any moisturizer under my eyes even though my skin is combo and tends toward dryness in the eye area and this still smoothes on beautifully without migrating into fine lines. With most concealers, I have to use a careful layering of moisturizer, concealer, powder, and the results are always inconsistent, depending on the amount of moisturizer, the humidity, the time of day -- who knows -- it would still migrate into lines, cake, or just plain disappear. Time Balm hasn't budged for me and that's probably because it's so smooth that I haven't needed a separate moisturizer under it.
I also use it on the occasional blemish and it works great there too -- it blends them away better than loose mineral concealers, which, until now, always gave me the most natural look for redness or blemishes. I have not had any clogged pores and I've been using this daily for three weeks. I use this in "Light" on my freckly, irish skin and it matches wonderfully, but they have "Lighter than Light" for those who are really porcelain, like my sister who has trouble finding concealers and foundations that are light enough. I don't care if it has any skin-enhancing ingredients or whether or not I could sleep in it (wouldn't do that with any cosmetics), but this is just hands-down the best concealer I've ever found.
