A little expensive yet I love the formula. It makes your lips feel really soft and supple, the texture is great, it feels like it has shea butter on it. I love the color, not too intense of a pinkish mauve. Overall, I would definitely purchase again.

Stunning rich color, turns a little fuschia on me after a while and has a habit of smelling off. But this color is wonderful on everyone I've met. Definitely worth a full tube.

Looks great with the matching blush on rushed mornings. My second NARS L/S... I'm officially a fan. Nice smooth texture, but be sure to add a touch of lip moisturizer first as the formula is not very moisturizing.

After the recent addition of this lipstick to my collection, it has become my favourite lipstick. My lips are pink naturally, so this just deepens the color, making it an almost red, but a subtle, wearable everyday red. I use this with minimal eye makeup and my Nars Cactus Flower Creme Blush, and it looks super pretty. The quality of this lipstick, like all Nars products, is simply amazing. Although I don't mind paying the money for a product that's worth it, I'd rather buy MAC lipsticks which are better priced, without a compromise in quality and a wider color selection.

This is a nice all-purpose shade. I imagine that the color looks different on everyone, and would also change with the color of your lip liner/gloss (which I think is a great thing). On me, it is a soft mauve in some lights, and looks 'peachy' in other lighting. The consistency is great... this product provides great moisture and a slight sheen, making your lips look incredibly kissable! It's wearable anytime - day or night. May as well add it to your collection, as it is versatile enough for you to get a good amount of usage out of it, one way or another.

Dolce Vita is a glossy and moisturizing rosy mauve and can be worn sheer or layered for a deeper color. The lipstick is not nearly as dark or pigmented as the lipgloss but I only need a thin layer over lip balm, otherwise I risk having overly mauvey liver-colored lips. This isn't really a MLBB shade for me, even though I have pretty pigmented lips. It's a touch too dark for my liking and thus not a go-to, fuss proof office lipcolor, so I wouldn't repurchase.

For reference, I consider MAC Hug Me lipstick to be my MLBB lipstick. continued >>

I bought Dolce Vita online because of its reputation as a "cult" favorite. It doesn't show up on my lips at all, not even as a sheer shimmer, which is what I was hoping for. It looks beautiful swatched on my hand and might be gorgeous for someone with less pigmented lips.

MLBB but pinker -- nude with a bit of rose. Dunno but I have had it for years and will continue to buy it.

I love NARS cause I like a matte lip -- I cannot stand MAC lustre's or glazes as they don't last thru half an hour of chit chat. If you use balm before application and on top this will last a lot longer.

Anyway this is an all always and forever color as I always have a back up in my stash.

Expensive but to me worth it.

NARS Dolce Vita is my very first NARS Lipstick. I bought it over Sephora (when it was still open here in Hong Kong) for HKD 210. It is a brownish peach / nude lipstick. It's in the middle of all that I mentioned. It's perfect for my shade, since I am classified as having a fair-medium skin-tone. It is sheer, compare to the other NARS Lipstick that I have (Schiap).

I love using this because it can be used everyday, not that loud to be noticed by my mom.

I find it quite hard though to find a perfect blush for this (can you suggest me some, please?). I tried using peachy colored blush to go with this but it doesn't suit.

For the staying power of this, it stays on your lips for roughly 3-4 hours WITHOUT having any kind of liquids. I think that's pretty good for a lipstick.

And take note : It's very moisturizing, scent free and dry free.

The colour is a little bit too bright for me (PPP!) and the texture is not comfortable. It is dry and the staying power is terrible (it fades away very quickly). It is very expensive and has the quality of a drugstore brand. Very disappointed. Another horrible product by Nars.
