why didnt i hear about this product sooner?!
i had a huge cyst one the side of my face from my mineral foundation and ive had it for at least 6 months and its huge and i was going to go to a doctor about it. i purchased this to use as a toner twice a day, i used the toner that night and by morning by cyst had shrank to half the size! its so much less noticeable and i feel that by a week it will be completely gone. i also usually get tiny acne, like little bumps under the skin which makes the texture of it actually really gross but after one use most of those bumps are completely gone! this is a miracle product and i will never try another toner again. the only down side is that the smell is so nauseating :( but for such a cheap price, huge quantity and amazing results, the awful smell is well worth it.
this is the first toner i have used on a regular basis and i love it for so many reasons. one: when im feeling lazy, which is often, it takes my makeup off wonderfully with no water. two: after i wash my face and use it, i rarely need moisturizer. i use it anyway, but i don't need it as much. three: i like the smell, oddly enough. and i love the way it feels going on. also, using it before my makeup in the morning seems to refresh my face and i don't have to wait at all. four: i haven't really broken out at all lately, which i sometimes do on occasion.
one of my new favorites. try it.
This toner works great for me as long as I don't use too much. I use this twice a day, and it leaves my skin super soft and clean. The only con is the smell

I love this. Although the smell is really off-putting and so is the 14% alcohol content, this really does improve my skin. It cleanses pores, leaves skin feeling refreshed, and makes skin appear more even-toned and radiant. I don't have any real issues with acne, but I do get 1 or 2 pimples around that time of the month, and this helps reduce the inflammation and redness they cause. I also notice that my pimples shrink in size and disappear quite quickly when I use this. Even better, I have dry skin, and this doesn't dry me out at all.
It's inexpensive and benefits all skin types in some way, so it's worth a buy.
Despite straying from time to time, this is the only toner that I come back to time and time again. I have very dry, sensitive skin and this toner doesn't dry out my skin or leave it red and splotchy like others do. Yes, it does smell kind of gross but the smells dissipates very quickly.

I actually like the smell. It's sort of medicinal but not overbearing. It fades away after a couple of seconds. This was part of my daily face cleansing routine for about a week. After my morning shower I would damped a cotton ball and gently rub over my skin. It would take off quite a bit of foundation my makeup remover had missed and did seem to calm down redness. But after several days, I started getting small bumps on my cheeks and around my lips. This may have to be used every other day or once a week.

Would I repurchase it again? I've purchased probably 6 bottles, and will continue to purchase as I run out, FOREVER. This stuff is the BEST makeup remover out there, for face products. Obviously don't get it anywhere near your eyes, because it has alcohol in it and will dry out your sensitive eye area, but for thoroughly removing foundation, blush, powder, the works, this stuff can't be beat. I just rinse my face, pour witch hazel on a couple cotton balls, and rub them all over my face and it gets EVERY SPECK of makeup off. Which is really important to me because I have acne prone skin and I'm a student, who also works part-time, so I generally have makeup on my face for 12+ hours a day. That's a really bad set of circumstances and I should be badly broken out all the time, but thanks to this product, I have pretty clear skin most of the time instead! I don't know what I'd do without this product- I keep a backup bottle at all times. I highly recommend this to ladies looking for a face-makeup remover that will also cleanse your skin in the process!

I was excited to try Witch Hazel, because I had heard such good things. Unfortunately, it didn't work out so well on my skin. I'll admit that it can calm redness, and maybe spot treat and stop potential blemishes from coming through sometimes, but I would never apply this all over my face or use as a toner as some people suggested. Mainly, I think the alcohol in the specific version of this that I got was the culprit. It completely broke me out after using for a few days. I tried it again a few days ago to my chin to soothe some blemishes that were still left, thinking maybe it wasn't this product, but then a few days later I had new ones right where I had applied it! Alcohol is a known ingredient to stay away from from acne-prone skin though so maybe if there is version of this without alcohol it will work better for some.

I love this product! I use it religiously after cleansing in the morning and night. My skin feels so clean and actually glows! After suffering with moderate acne for 6 years I think I've finally found a routine that keeps me clear even though I never thought I'd see the day. I haven't had a pimple in three months since I started using this in conjunction with my regular benzaclin application... a new record for me! It might not work for everyone, but it's def worth a try since it's so cheap!

First off I must admit that this is the first witch hazel product I have purchased and used. So, I've been using it for a week now and I guess the function of it seems to be alright. However, the smell of this has been very off-putting and I've been willing to over look it hoping to get use to it. BUT... I hate to compare the smell to this, but it finally popped into my head tonight while using it what it reminds me of. I recently took an anatomy class in which we had to dissect animals. The fragrance of this product smells exactly like the chemical solution used to preserve the animal bodies (they don't use formaldehyde anymore). It is a very specific smell and this is a dupe for it IMO. I'll be looking for a different brand of witch hazel. So, this is just a heads up to those that may also share a similar sensitivity to smells. I just can't get past the smell. Next, I'm trying Avalon Organics Vitamin C balancing toner.
