I must admit Visionnaireís packaging is very elegant and impressive. The product dispensed smoothly. The serum had a very lovely texture and light scent. I did find that if I didnít work it well into my skin, it formed a layer of film over my face, which started pealing and rubbing off throughout the day resulting in rather unattractive look. I could see slight improvement in my skinís texture instantly, right after Iíve applied the serum. I continued using it until the bottle of LancŰme Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector was finished, and Iíve bought one more bottle.
My skin did look fresher, tighter and smoother. However after going through 2 bottles of the serum, using it daily, I didnít achieve the results I was expecting. There are several other serums out on the market, half the price of Visionnaire that gave my skin the same results.
Furthermore, not only is there more alcohol than there are state-of-the-art anti-aging ingredients, given the amount of alcohol present, your skin faces potential free-radical damage and collagen breakdown with daily useóeven if you cannot see or feel the irritation taking place. Irritation from alcohol, whether you see it on the surface of your skin or not, causes inflammation, which impairs healing, damages collagen, and depletes the vital substances your skin needs to stay young. For this reason, it is best to minimize as much as possible your exposure to products with alcohol, especially when there are brilliant formulas available that do not include this problematic ingredient.
Hence Iíve decided not to buy another bottle of Visionnaire, and rather try a different product.
I thought Visionnaire was expensive, drying and it didn't deliver. Definitely won't buy again.
Lancome is not a bad brand but I haven't had luck with anything but their mascaras and concealers. This product is fragranced, it burned as soon as I applied it and my face turned blood red and welts appeared within minutes. It could well be the fragrance, I won't continue using. I don't know why Lancome products don't work for me any more than I know why I continue to try. Not good on sensitive skin. I am mystified as to why companies fragrance their products. Unnecessary!
I used Visionnaire for almost 6 months and it worked wonderfully for me. Before Visionnare, I had small bumps and some pimples on my face but after using it, I saw the improvement in my skin texture after the first night. I used it twice a day and within a week, my whole face was smooth like never before. It got me very excited because I had never had such smooth skin since I started breaking out in my early teens. It also cleared acne scars on my face. I started raving about it to my family so my sister and my mom tried it too but it caused them to breakout so it shows it works differently on everyone's skin. The reason I stopped using it is because my skin started getting much oilier than it had ever been and although it cleared my scars, it didn't seem to be doing much to even out my skin tone and that was very important for me. I am now looking for a product that will both smoothen my skin texture as well even out the tone and not make it so oily. My skin has started breaking out again as I tried other products and if I don't find another one that keeps my face as smooth as Visionnaire, I will be running back to it because I can at least conceal my uneven skin tone with makeup but a bumpy skin? No.
Way overpriced, why in the world did I buy it. $100? Really??? It is not worth the price, I found Sephora's Age-Defying Serum for $38 and I actually like it a lot better. However one thing it DID do is help to hide my eleven lines between my brows. But Visionnaire I found is a bit drying, so--bottom line, I wouldn't as it's just far too spendy, and other products are better.
This pretty much did nothing for me. I decided to give this a try as I liked the genefique serum. The fragrance is strong and judging from the smooth texture, I suspect there is silicon in the serum.
Love this - on my second bottle! I love the scent and use every night after I wash my face before moisturizer. My face feels tight yet also very supple and soft after I use. Not sure if it's diminishing wrinkles and lines as I don't have a ton, but I feel like it helps to reduce appearance of pores and gives skin a younger looking, healthy glow. Lancome usually has tons of samples if you ask before buying - because it is expensive! You only need a small amount and I think using it once a day is more than enough.
Feel is nice BUT after using a whole bottle night and day I was unimpressed with the results compared to other products I've used and will save myself the extra 70 bux by going back to Youth Code or something similar.
I got this product in a deluxe sample, so I had a few days to try it out. I was expecting (hoping) not to like this product, based on the completely insane price. However, I was really impressed by the results. It did not set off my ridiculously sensitive skin, nor did it break me out. I just had soft, smooth, hydrated skin. My skin's imperfections were diminished, and even my fine lines seemed shallower and less pronounced. I docked one lippie for the price, which I think is out of control. But this stuff really works. I don't think that I would buy it at the retail price. But if I could find it cheaper online, I would definitely pick some more up.
Visionnaire is OK. The hype doesn't really go hand in hand with the product, though. It's got a great gel-cream like texture and a slight pink tone. It's very light. IT SMELLS AMAZING; and I usually loathe perfume in products. I have sensitive skin and I thought this product may cause problems for me, but I was so excited to try it so I just bit the bullet. It hasn't given me any bad reaction and it hasn't caused any breakouts. The serum itself doesn't really do much. It makes my skin very soft and it sinks in wonderfully, but overall I'm not impressed. My face seems a bit brighter but I always get tiny tiny spots and uneven texture on my forehead and it did nothing for this. It also didn't take away as much redness as I thought it would. Would not repurchase, there are other things to try.
