Got this in a Clinique GWP & its a lipstick color I might actually consider buying when its finished. On me its a medium pinkish brown with a tiny bit of red to stop it being too girly, just slightly warm & very MLBB. Definitely not sheer, but a light glossyish texture that's very suitable for work or casual. If you find Covergirl's Blushberry Trushine too pink/cool, this a good alternative - the basic tone is very similar, just pushing more into the brown/warm side, rather than a true berry which makes this Clinique color suit me better. Much as I like Blushberry - & I much prefer the sheerer Trushine formula - this is a better color on my slightly warm, gold skin tone. (Similarly if this is too brown for you, & you are looking for something a tad more berryish/cool, try Blushberry).
Very sheer brownish-tannish lipstick. Have to layer a lot to get any color in your lips. But the formula is not drying. Makes my lips a natural darker shade. Mainly I wear this under other darker lipsticks that would look too bold on their own. Really like this for that pupose, would repurchase.
As with most reviews, I find this a nice lipstick. Not matte, too glossy, not too pigmented (in fact it's on the sheer side) and makes your lips look just-that-little-bit-rosier. On my pigmented lips, this turns out a berry-pink-brown colour. I'd say this is an everyday lipstick when you want something that doesn't shout for attention.
Okay lipstick but NOT extraordinary. Has to be reapplied throughout the day but probably a good lipstick for people who want to put something on and not think too much about changing each day.
This is the perfect lipstick in so many ways, soft and natural looking. Perfect for day wear! But why the ugly packaging? And I have to admit, colourwise I wish it had just a tad more pink over the brown. Still I use this almost everyday.
My HG nude lipstick! This is the only nude I can ever wear and actually look good. It's not technically a nude since it apparently has too much brown or red in it, but that works for my GGG skintone with pigmented lips. I tried every MAC nude/MLBB shade, but they ended up either making me look like a corpse or having waaay too brown lips or drying out my lips. Tenderheart is just the perfect combination of mauve, brown and red in a sheer formulation that lets you build as much colour as you want. It's also not drying. I wish they hadn't discontinued it in Singapore. :( But I wouldn't mind buying it over and over again from online. I love it too much!
I can see why this color is a favorite for others. On me it's almost identical to my lips, when I use it with EL spice l/p it picks up more color, a red/brown. The lipstick has a nice sheer lightweight texture. Will use on minimal make-up days. Great Texture and wear.
Got this in a Nordstrom clinique gwp and what a pleasant surprise! The texture is very creamy and smooth. It glides on as a semi-sheer, but gorgeous color---a muted, SHEER red with a nudish, burnt orange vibe to it. For someone who thinks red lipstick looks OTT, this is a marvelous alternative to add some color.
I wouldn't pick a shade like this for myself normally, but hey it was free. I didn't have any problems with it being too sheer. I thought it had a lot of nice color. It was a very glamorous look because it was a dark sort of, well something. I don't really know how to describe the color. It somehow brightened my face a bit. Like I said before I would NEVER have picked this color for myself on my own. But I like it!
This is a great neutral cinnamon color that applies much sheerer than it looks in the tube. I am a fair skinned red head and this looks great on me. Very natural. A hint of shine, Very creamy and does not dry out the lips.
