I adore this liquid liner pen. I tested it in an Ulta store, on my hand, against another liquid liner (Urban Decay, I think). I rubbed furiously, then wet my hand and rubbed again. The Stila liner did not budge. This convinced me to buy it, in black.

The first test (and what I bought it in prep for) was an evening summer wedding. I applied my makeup around 5 pm and not only did it look perfect and unsmudged when I got home at 1 am, it lasted until the next day. Still no smudges.

I don't know what black magic is in this stuff, but I love it. I usually use a felt-tip dip style liquid liner, and have used a Lorac pen liner before, as well as all sorts of gel and cream liners, and this one takes the cake.

I have been wearing liquid liner ever since I was able to wear make-up and this is the best liquid eyeliner for my sensitive eyes! I've tried so many brand of liquid eyeliner (Chanel, Dior, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Estee Lauder, Laura Mercier, Revlon, L'Oreal, Rimmel, Make Up For Ever, and Maybelline) This eyeliner beats all the brands mentioned above and stays true black all day! It does not irritate my sensitive eyes! Prior to this eyeliner, I was using the Bourjois Liner Clubbing eyeliner is still pretty awesome but I like the felt pen application of the Stila eyeliner. It's a lot easier to use than a brush tip, especially for someone who can get really lazy with makeup like me. :D

Before I discovered this, I have been using MAC Blacktrack for years. I wanted to find something that I can wear on the go without bringing an eyeliner brush. I'm so glad I found this. This definitely stays on for hours with a primer. I actually conducted a test today. I wore a shimmery shadow (Mac Antiqued) and put Blacktrack over. Within a couple hours the Blacktrack faded and the eyeshadow went over it. It always happens on my lids with shimmery shadows. However when I put Stila over Antiqued today, it actually stayed on for hours even through my nap. I can't believe I bought a new jar of Blacktrack thinking it would be different for me, now I have to use it all up. But, I will be repurchasing Stila after I finish the jar. Great for on the go and really stays on my oily lids for hours.

A friend of mine let me try this eyeliner, commenting on how she wasn't too crazy about it. I liked it at first but then after purchasing my own, a few hours after application, the eyeliner would crack and fade off. I had to fix my eyeliner every few hours. At first after application, it's really liquid-y but after a few minutes, it dries off and looks nice. After a few hours, it doesn't look too great.
I still use it. I think I'm going to have to try some primer on the next time I use it, hopefully it'll make it stay on better or something.

Best liquid eyeliner I have used and I'm pretty sure I've used them all.
Stays most of the day! Does not smudge for a long time, esp if you use eye primer. Best of all, it does not go off in chunks like other liquid eyeliners.
however, it isn't foolproof --it does begin to smudge after 8hours or so..

I've been rotating this and Revlon Color Stay's liquid eyeliner. This has the best brush between the two. It's fine and very accurate. Both stay put even without a primer. My BIG problems with this eyeliner: are how quickly it dries out, and how the tip develops little... hairs? It's weird. I have to pull them off. By the time I've done that, I have no ink left. OR I will try to use it, and it'll work fine.. then all of a sudden there's no ink (leaving a very funny looking cat eye). Such a bummer. It would be worth the money if I could get some decent lining for longer than 2 weeks.

I purchased this eyeliner based upon the positive reviews and am happy to report that I absolutely love it. It stays put all day and I absolutely love the brush. This is my HG liquid eyeliner.

This eyeliner is absolutely amazing. If you have oily lids like me, this eyeliner would not smudge. I've tested and worn this eyeliner for about 16 hours and it still looked perfectly fine. It's easy to apply and very black. I think the downside of the product is the price. $20 for an eyeliner is pretty expensive, but I would re purchase this eyeliner again because its the only eyeliner that won't make me look like a panda.

i really like this line best for a cat eye. the point is super fine and glides easily. the color is a really rich black. i think this would work fine in a makeup back too, the top seems sturdy. the only down side on this to me is the price. i use different eyeliners for different things/effects but i like having this one in my kit.

This is a good water RESISTANT liquid eyeliner. Yup, I would not say this is water proof but it does stay on if you don't jump in a pool. Granted, when you do jump in a pool it stays on for a while but it looks flaky. If you are just looking for an eyeliner that doesn't melt off with the heat or just to last an all day work or school day, go for it this eyeliner would be great for you. However one thing I do notice is the little tiny strings like to come off of the very fine point, kinda like it is frying almost. Now it hasn't affect me too much, but I notice it. I've had this product for about a month and it is still working fine for me. The reason why I wouldn't purchase this again would be because I want to try gel liners. If I do need a good liquid liner I would drop the money and get this one.
