This is one of those shades that should be a staple for everyone with a fair to medium skin tone. It's pigmented and smooth, great quality for the price. You can find it for $1-$2 depending on the store and sales. In one layer it neutralizes my lids, if I build it up it's a lovely cream shade like Mac brule. I buy this every time I see it bc it is worth having back ups. The only con is that the packaging is very flimsy and your shadow could break in one drop or while traveling.
Since I live in the UK, wet n wild products are hard to come by. When I had a trip to NY I stopped by a Walgreens store and stocked up on Wet n Wil products, I got this as I've read that it is a great dupe for MAC's Brulee. Now, I don't own MAC's version but I can definitely vouch for this product!
- It's cheap
- Quality is great, one swipe on my lids and it evens out the veins and unevenness of my lids. Considering the price, the quality is superb!
- packaging is sleek, sturdy and great to travel with
- Staying power is great even without a primer
- Applies like butter and is not cakey
- Not available in the UK!!!!
overall, well done wet n wild for this produt. I just wish it is available on my area to stock up. Great quality and great price will definitely buy again!!!!!!
I loveeee this eyeshadow, it's the perfect nude color, just put this on with some mascara and you're good to go. It makes me look more awake and doesn't really look like I have anything on....which is ideal cause around my eyes is always kind of blotchy and I have broken capillaries blahblahblah......point is it's cheap (a dollar, A DOLLAR!) and it lasts a long time and is awesome.
This is one of the few shadows I have used up completely and had to repurchase. It is just one of those super versatile products that I find myself using on nine out of ten days.
On my NC15 skin, this matches my lid color pretty closely. So closely, in fact, that I use it on occasion to set my concealer. It's also great for days where you don't want to look like you're wearing a ton of eye m/u, but you want to cancel out any redness/veins/discoloration and brighten up the lid area.
This is also the perfect blending color, and is great for blending out eyeshadow of any color. I find that a lot of times, using this to blend with works better than using a clean brush.
It's cheap, easy to depot (if that's your kind of thing), but the packaging is also slim and easy to store. The shadow itself is incredibly soft and easy to work with. The only down side is that because the shadow is so soft, and the packaging doesn't absorb any kind of shock, the shadow is very prone to breaking when dropped. For this reason, I don't travel with it. I've never broken mine, but even if I did, they're very inexpensive. I would repurchase.
I love this eye shadow. I use it as the base for all over lid highlight and color when I do natural eye shadow or using browns! Definitely worth the 1.75 I payed!!
Brule is the perfect blender, highlight and lid shade for me. Of course, I may not necessarily wear it every day in all 3 capacities, but it has not failed me yet. As a paler lady (NC15) with less than youthful eyelids, Brule is an elegant option. I get a smooth application, either over a base (usually Painterly) as a stand-alone lid look, or as a basis for a neutral eye (also over a base). I haven't tried it yet as a concealer set, but may experiment with this option to see if it can be lightly applied w/o a cakey effect. For the price I can't beat it. I do not live in a city easily accessible to many brands, but I can easily pick up Brule & have done so, more than once, for myself & friends. I've hit pan on my first one & have had no experience with difficulty opening the container. Highly recommended here :)
LOVE this product! packaging is perfect - small, unobstrusive. It's really cheap, and the product is soft and buttery. Can be a tad powdery. It's a dupe of MAC brule. I use this on my mac 224 to blend out lines, because i find it easier to blend out shadows using a shadow that is skintoned (which brulee is perfect for) than just blending with a brush without anything. Really important in my eye makeup routine. Also, if you are nc30 or darker, you can use this as a matte highlight. I just love it!
With Nutty in the crease, I use this every. single. day. It's the best "my lid but better" colour I've found, and it's so inexpensive! It isn't at all chalky, and applies like a dream. I even use this to set my under eye concealer, and it brightens everything up. If you're super pale like me, this is the best.
I was skeptical about using Wet n Wild because it was so cheap, but it's seriously the best $2 I've ever spent! These eyeshadows are amazing! Better than M.A.C in my opinion! Just wish they had more colors to choose from! <3
I use this everyday either on my browbone or all over the lid to cover imperfections when I don't have time to do a full look. It's so smooth and matches my fair skin perfect. Why pay $15 for a MAC shadow when you can get this for $0.99?
