I used this in 6, Light Brown. Absolutely the ONLY dye that I have ever used (and trust me, I've been through pretty much all of them) that didn't pull red or leave some awful brassy cast to my color! It definitely came out darker than the box said it would, but that's to be expected with any brown shade, and it's still a nice true brown- exactly what I was looking for since I dyed my hair last month (Nice N Easy Light Neutral Brown) and it pulled red leaving my hair looking coppery. I didn't experience any damage or dryness with this dye, my hair is soft and shiny. The only thing I don't like about using this color is the conditioner- it stinks, I find the smells lingers in my hair days after using it even if I shampoo and use a different conditioner. All in all, I love this dye, and I'll be sticking with it for as long as I color my hair.

The first temporary dye I used on my hair was Garnier Herbashine (in #400 dark brown), and although I loved the result I thought I would try L'Oreal Paris' Healthy Look Creme Gloss in Darkest Brown (3).
I find that in comparison, this dye dried out my hair and definitely did not give it any shine - it looked flat compared to my Herbashine results and my natural highlights didn't show through. The colour seemed to wash out really fast in comparison, and my hair was almost back to normal after a week and a half.
Although this dye doesn't seem to have the mild reddish undertones like Herbashine's dark brown (which I at first thought was a good thing) I soon realized that the trade-off is that the L'Oreal colour gives my hair absolutely no dimensionality or shine. My hair is naturally fine and soft, and this dye definitely didn't keep it soft like Herbashine did.
Another thing I didn't like was the conditioner - I found the smell offensive in comparison to Herbashine's conditioner, so much so that I threw it out after two applications. I don't think that the royal jelly does anything at all, as Herbashine's made my hair much softer.
I definitely recommend Herbashine over the L'Oreal Healthy Look Creme Gloss and will not be buying this product again.
I'm really surprised at the bad reviews this product is getting. I love this, it''s one of the only things that stays constant in my hair routine. I have naturally very dark brown hair, but it has a fairly strong natural reddish tone to it. I use the color Espresso/Darkest Brown, and it takes the redness out of my hair and makes it a touch darker. It also adds a ton of shine and volume to my fine hair. I also like that it's semi-permanent so the re-growth isn't too harsh and it keeps my hair healthy since I'm growing it out. I really like this product, and it's my favorite drugstore hair color.

Didn't have a very good experience with this product. Color was okay but it didn't give my hair the gloss look it promises.
I used this becuase I wanted a semi permement dye to cover the reminence of my red hair dye. when I used it | noticed it smelled kinda weird...but that's to be expected of at home colour.. but it was easy to apply with dry hair and didnt stain my skin.
The only thing unusual that I noticed about my hair was that it turned a dark brown instead of the light beigre brown I wanted. so next time I want to use it I will put it in for wayyyy less time.
The conditioner that came with the dye works well. It makes my hair soft.. and slightly shiny which is hard with my curly hair.
I am a long time user of Natural Match Hair colour (3w Brown Black). I love it because it covers grey very well, holds up after several washings , but most importantly it gave my hair a major boost in volume and made it easier to style and looked great. Very shiny and smooth.
I was very dissapointed when i learned it had been discontinued. I went to Loreal's website and they suggested i replace it with their new Healthy Look (3 Darkest Brown). I have tried this 2 times now and i'm very dissapointed. Not only is it considerably lighter shade but it gives no volume whatsoever , as well as the fact that as soon as you apply water before you shampoo, the colour runs right off. When shampoo is applied i get an awful thick black lather. Cosiderably more than the Natural Match.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what else i could try?
Thanks
I used 5R Cherry Truffle. Usually I buy color in the 5 or 6 color depth range, but this one had a surprise in store for me. My hair is now about two shades darker than before. That's not what I was looking for. It does a good job covering my grey, but beware! My recommendation would be to buy at least a shade lighter than what you are used to buying. I think I will try Natural Instincts next time.
Okay, first off my natural hair color is red.
I bought 4g dark golden truffle. I just dyed my hair and it made it feel straw like it says it was "So deeply hydrating" I wasn't expecting my hair to be super soft but come on lol but all in all its not that bad I really wanted to like this but its back to clairol natural instincts. the smell is pretty nice considering my mom asked me if I was burning a candle and said it smelled like fruit punch haha. After I used the leave in conditioner it still felt straw like so I put a little argan oil in my hair and that softened it up a bit :) Not sure about the color now looks darker than the box but eh i'm not worried.
I was really excited to try this color. I like the idea of healthy color. I was not impressed by the color selection, but I did find something that would work. The color was quick, but I was surprised that it still smelled bad like normal dye. I was really disappointed with the conditioner that came with it. It had a horrible smell and left my hair smelling odd and not very appealing. When my hair dried, the smell of the conditioner still smelled bad and did not really do much to moisturize my hair. The color did not look very good. I found it was very very far from the box. I know the box is not a promise, but it is usually a good guide of what will happen. This was far from it. It tinted my hair a very dark color. I had a blonde and it turned my hair a brownish color which was so far from the description of the box. I like the idea of this, but it does not work very well.
Original hair colour: Dark brown (asian hair!)
Colour bought: Light Golden Brown
Well, I didn't expect a huge change since my hair is originally pretty dark but I got NO results with this dye! I looked in the mirror, only the roots at the crown of my head turned a slight tint lighter. If not examined closely, I'm sure nobody would have noticed. Once this dye washes away, I'm sticking to the Feria dyes
