This is a pretty good lip balm. Does the job by hydrating your lips and it smells really good.
At first, I was digging this lip balm because of its paraben-free nature. It has very cute packaging. However, it is sort of annoying to dig in your bag looking for a sphere. Most of all, I will never go back to this product after using Rosebud Salve balm, which is the best. Also, I may purchase Korre's lip balm in mango or pomegranate if I want to go paraben-free.
eos is not nearly as moisturizing as any of the other products mentioned.
I really love the EOS lotion so I thought I'd try the lip balm. The packaging is pretty adorable but the product overall sucks. It was only hydrating for a the first few minutes then it just dried out my lips. Not worth the hype on this product, does not hydrate lips at all.
I tried this lip balm because I liked the packaging and the shape. As another reviewer pointed out, you can find this really easily in your purse. The trouble is, it turns out that I like a cylindrical balm better. Still, I would have kept using it if I thought it worked well. It doesn't. It doesn't dry my lips but it doesn't help them either. I get more moisture out of a Lip Smacker.
It's kinda expensive for a drug store lip balm. I think it was about $4-$5. It smells really good, like the other EOS lip balms. I purchased them because all the makeup gurus on youtube always talked about how good EOS lip balms are. The summer fruit one was the first one I got & it smelled amazing to me. The lip balms never really absorbed into my lips. They just sat on top & make them feel waxy. I thought it might have just been the scent I got, or I got a bad one, so I bought a few more in the different scents & the same thing happened with all of them. continued >>
When I first saw this product, it looked super cool, and when my sister got it, I just HAD to try it. I normally don't like lip stuff--balm, gloss, whatever--but this is an exception. It doesn't smell or taste very good, but once you put it on, you can't even tell. It's not oily or greasy like other chapstick, and at first I thought the spherical shape would bother me, but it actually works really well. It gets into the corners of your mouth WAY better than stick-shaped lip balm, which is one of my makeup pet peeves. It's absorbed pretty fast and washes off easily. It was pretty expensive though, which was unfortunate. I wish I'd gotten a different flavor/scent, but there weren't any others at the store.
The EOS lip balm in summer fruit smells amazing. To really get moisture, you need to apply for about 3-5 minutes. Yes I know it's a hassle but it gets the job done. It's also really succulent as well!
I don't like this one, it smell like the plastic and its texture on my lip like a kind of wax, although it looks so so so cute. The only advantage for me is that EOS tasted sweet...As for the price, I have to say it is cheap, but there are some other products which have better cost performance with this price( about 39HKD,$6 ) , and you know, for just 60HKD,you can totally get some perfect products like kiehl's or EA. So why did people like this one?
I love the packaging so much! Only thing I don't like about it is that it's very fat on the pocket, but if you use a purse then it doesn't matter :D
Smeelllls nice o:
KAY, This stuff doesn't really moisturize for crap. It moisturizes to a very small degree, I think it is less moisturizing then Chapstick's Moisturizing chapstick. This definitely didn't help me break away from my severe carmex addition hehe.. I like Rosebud's lip balm the minty one over this.
This isn't a very moisturizing lip balm, but I guess it would be nice for people that don't have very chapped lips.
I think this was a short term fad, I totally fell into it, I love the cute ballsy packaging LOL.
What a cute little lip balm! I just bought one the other day, and now I'm obsessed! I've been making special trips to Target just to get some; and now my sister likes them as well. I like the fact that they are organic, it feels like I'm really protecting my lips. The staying power is great. You don't need to reapply alot. I would recommend this to anyone who likes Burt's Bees Chapstick. The packaging is super cute as well!
