I love this brush! I'm pretty sure a lot of people would agree with me since it's such a popular brush. It applies my foundation beautifully, and blends it out efficiently leaving absolutely no streaks. The bristles are very soft, and the packaging is very sleek. I've had it for about a year now with continual use and it still feels brand new. Very minimal shedding and nothing has fallen apart.
This brush is a great alternative to Sigma's Flat Top Kabuki brush, for those who don't want to spend $16 for a brush. I have both and I actually prefer this over Sigma's since it's not as dense so it blends faster. Sigma's is noticeably denser and that's about the only difference between them. I would recommend buying this brush first before buying Sigma's. So wonderful!

I absolutely HATE this brush. I do not understand why it is so beloved in the beauty world. As for the pros, I appreciate the price, sleek look, and density of the brush, but that's where it ends. I've owned it for two years and used it to apply both liquid and powder foundation which always look horrible as a result. This brush makes my liquid streaky, and it over applies my powder no matter how little I use. Also it feels very soft to the touch of my hand, but when used to stipple/buff foundation onto my face, it feels very prickly against my skin. It actually causes irritation! Because of all the great reviews, I thought maybe I bought a lemon so I purchased another, but it gives me the same issues. The only use I've found for this brush is to use it to buff out overly applied blush, and even then, it's my last resort tool of choice. This brush serves no purpose in my make up collection, and I do not recommend it to anyone!

One of my absolute favorite brushes, period. It's super soft and gives such a flawless foundation application (powder OR liquid). I actually bought 2: 1 for my foundation, 1 for blushes/bronzer. And at $3 each, that feels like a steal.

I am slowly but surely becoming obsessed with E.L.F. products and this brush is by far one of their gems. I had been looking for a brush to apply my neutrogena skin clearing foundation with and I just couldn't stand the idea of spending 30-45 dollars on a MAC brush. That just seems so ridiculous to me. I see people talk about ELF all the time on youtube and one of the girls I watch on there used this specific brush to apply her foundation. Ever since then I couldnt get the brush out of my head. I went to target the other day and went the ELF section. First of all I thought the brush would be atleast 10 bucks but It only cost 3 dollars! Even though it was freaking awesome how cheap it was I was hoping that the brush wouldnt turn out to be complete crap. Well trust me, it is NOT crap at all. It doesn't shed, the bristles are soft and smooth, it's a good size, nice handle. It works wonders with my foundation! My foundation is a liquid foundation but this brush also works amazing with powders (hence the name powder brush ;D). This brush is definitely my HG brush when it comes to applying my foundation. It's gives me a great natural look without streaking. I am VERY impressed and will be checking out more ELF products soon! Definitely proves that the most expensive thing in the world isnt always the best! :)

This is my HG foundation application brush. Seriously. I have purchased expensive brushes and nothing compares. I use it to apply all of my liquid foundations. I'm on my third brush...they last a while but I like to have a back-up. It's find since they're so inexpensive. Go buy one today!

This product is great, it's fab, it blends my foundation in like an absolute dream, but why the low rating? Because of its monstrous shedding! I brought 2 of these one in June, they both lasted 3 weeks before starting to shed like mad, maybe it's the way I'm washing them, but I wash it like any normal person would! The price for a product that only lasts a couple of weeks is ridiculous, sure it's only £3.50 in the uk but if I go through one every 3 weeks, Its going to add up!! I've now swapped to the real techniques expert face brush, but let me tell you! I prefer the application of the elf brush alot more! It covers more areas of the face as its bigger, but I just don't want to buy a foundation with such a short life span!
reading the reviews on here, no one seems to have the me problems as me, which I find abit strange.
I will buy this brush again, but only when I need something else from elf!

I'm abit disappointed by the product, I thought it would be like my holy grail, but apparently not!:-(

Will I repurchase it? Hell, YES, YES, 1000 TIMES YES. I am overwhelmed since the first time using it. It's so smooth, like I use silk to cover my face. The foundation blends so well. so nice. Almost no cakey everytime I use. take good care to my skin even after many times being washed

Seriously, It can compete with Channel, Bobbi Brown brush with not even half of the price. It's worth being laid in any of your makeup collection.

I cant believe I haven't written a review for this. First, I want to thank MUA for introducing me to this product as well as other great DS products. Prior to MUA, I only used HE makeup and would never have dreamed of using anything but, and now, almost everything I use and love is DS!

Anyway, onto the review...

This brush is amazing for applying powder, powder foundation and I imagine it would be good for liquid foundation from the reviews but I've yet to try that.

Why it's good:

-it does NOT shed. Never ever. I've never experienced this with any brush before.
-it gives me a flawless and airbrushed finish.
-I have to use less product because it seems to be more efficient at distributing the product.
-of course the price is a plus. It's $3!!

It's sold at Target so go pick one up. 1000+ reviews cannot be wrong and it's so inexpensive anyway.
